Ickabod119: Thanks. I hope to have a few more cliffies in this story. I'm not really sure about where this story would be set in by the manga and the anime.

jodibetz: It will not be Inuyasha/Kikyou based fic, it's more Inuyasha/Kagome fic, with appearances from Kikyou and Kouga mixed in.

Chapter Six.

Within the hut, they found Kagome putting her things together. Sango went to her side and asked, �Kagome, are you well?�
�I�m�fine, Sango,� but it was not true. The young woman was crying. Sango and Miroku knew it by how she wiped her eyes on her sleeve. Inuyasha never knew that Kagome loved him or if he knew never revealed that he knew.
Inuyasha and Kikyou entered the hut, not really caring about the young woman who sent a look of sadness towards the white haired half demon. �I�ll figure out how to make it work, Kikyou, we�ll probably live here with your sister till our hut is built.�
Sango was furious. Here was Inuyasha planning on getting a home with another woman while the woman who loved him and broke through all of the times when he shifted to full demon mode got her heart torn out of her body again and again by him. She grabbed her boomerang board and was about to use it on him, when a hand stopped her.
�Let him figure it out himself, Sango, you do not want to hurt Kagome,� Miroku whispered, as he glanced over at Kagome who was holding Shippou in her arms.
�I wish to only to knock some sense into that hard head of his,� whispered Sango.
"Inuyasha has to learn this on his own, the more we push the more he�ll keeps running from what is right in front of him."
�I guess you are right, Miroku, besides, I think there is someone who needs to be chased instead of chasing after women.� Sango eyed Miroku.
�What do you mean, someone needs to be chased? You�re not saying me needs to be chased?� asked Miroku.
�Yes,� said Sango, as she smiled evilly.
�No!� yelled Miroku, as he went racing out of the hut with Sango hot on his tails. Soon, everyone heard giggles and then silence outside.
Kagome smiled slightly. She was very happy for Sango and Miroku. But as soon as she laid down to sleep, all she could think about was Kikyou and Inuyasha kissing and getting on with their lives. She silently cried herself to sleep.

The next morning, Kagome was out washing her clothes that she wore the previous night and she overheard two voices in the forest. She recognized both voices immediately � it was Kikyou and Inuyasha. She crept over to where they were and listened in.
�Kikyou, I love you,� spoke Inuyasha, as he wrapped his arms around her.
�I love you too, Inuyasha,� said Kikyou. She noticed that Kagome was there as the young girl fled from the area in tears. �But not anymore,�
�What do you mean not anymore?�
�I don�t love you anymore. You need someone who is living not dead. I�ll be making my funeral pyre in a few days from now and I will go back to the grave where I belong, Inuyasha,� spoke Kikyou.
"But Kikyou, I love you, we can find a way to work it out."
Kikyou turned to Inuyasha and placed her hand on his cheek. �No, I am one of the dead and in the grave I belong. My vengeance is over. I need to move on to the other world. I need to be let go, Inuyasha, with the love I know you have for me, give it to the one who you really love. You need to live in the present not the past.�
�It is you I love, Kikyou,� said Inuyasha.
Kikyou laughed. "You are so naive Inuyasha,"
"What do you mean?"
"Figure it out for yourself, now good bye."
Inuyasha stood there stunned by what she said. Kikyou smiled and walked away. She knew Kagome saw them together but did she hear everything? She needed to see the young woman and tell her everything.
Kagome had left for the well before the others knew what had gone down. She knew she needed to return to her time and looked back towards the village. �Damn you, Inuyasha. If you didn�t confess your love for Kikyou like you always did, you would probably know that I love you.� Kagome felt the tears overflow her eyes and she wiped them away never sensing the two jewel fragments heading her way.

So who is coming towards Kagome? What will she do jump back to the future of Japan and leave it all behind or what?
