Louis: �Damn it Sesshamaru how could you?�
Rin: �YEAH!�
Savannah: �Oh for Christ sake!�
Sesshomaru: �What did I do?�
Savannah: �Nothing�Louis
stop that.�
Louis: � NO!� Lets see dumbass�Beautiful, NAKED, gorgeous, And
NAKED� AROUSED GIRL!! What the hell is the matter with you?�
Savannah: �Leave him alone.�
Sesshomaru: �Yeah�It�s all her fault.� * points accusingly at
me.
Louis: � Still man��
Rin: �Humph��

Chapter 5 Crossing Paths

As they were walking the
pace slowed considerably much to the annoyance of Jaken. He was still muttering
bitterly about his idea of lavish affection being placed to Rin instead of him;
it made him wildly jealous. He was the advisor, servant, and confidant.
This human did not deserve his attentions or time nor the sole attention of the
Greatest Lord of the Western Lands. He turned to cast her a dirty look and
found that they were no longer right behind him. He swore and turned to retrace
his steps wondering if she had done that on purpose. * (Oh great now I
have to wait for them?) *
Rin and Sesshomaru stopped
at the same time. �Sesshomaru�� she began �I sense something evil, and angry.�
She had not thought about her words, she just said them as the feelings washed
over her. He puzzled this for a moment; her scent said to all that she was
human but she had the uncanny ability to sense emotions from another individual
even if that person was demon. She had been able to do it to him since she was
little. Describing his mood or offering a gift when she felt his distress even
though no recognition showed on his features, never really thinking of this as
a something that could well arm her against many or harm her more than the
worst weapon. Deciding to test a theory he had he delicately sniffed the air.
�Rin what do you
sense�think carefully.� She screwed up her face and as he watched her reaction
closely he noticed her eyes changed to a translucent silver. * (Interesting) *
She knew that sometimes she felt things about people, but never before had she
called up this power by force of will. It often happened as she was meditating.
She noticed it helped calm her quite a bit and focus her energy on a task. She
centered herself and realized that her five senses had increased ten times what
they normally were. Instead of pondering this she reached out and focused her
mental energy with the chakra located on her forehead. Her body just naturally
took over without thinking; she reached out with her mind, touching the
direction that had caused her pause earlier.
�A woman.� She said * (Well
that�s one right) * he thought mentally checking off the correct answers. �A
youkai female.� * (That�s two�) * � And a man�one with great power.� She
shivered. * (Three) * �It�s the same
one that hurt me.� This caused him to nose the air again. It was faint but
there all the same. He took off in that direction, Rin close at his heels. He
was by far faster, but she kept up enough to keep him in her eyesight.
Sesshamaru came upon a new
clearing where the two stood, the man yelling angrily at the demoness. �Where
are they Moon?� He said impatiently. �Shut up. They should be here, they were
headed in this direction when we last saw them.� �I want that girl.� �Why? Why
do you want her so bad? Why can�t you let this one go?� �Because no one gets
away from me and lives.� �Well I personally would like to live.� �Then you will
do as I say.� �Bastard.�
This whole time Sesshomaru
had been measuring distances, gauging reactions and consequences, evaluating
his prey. �Never mind.� Moon said irritably �They are here.� He looked into the
trees at the position they were in. �Demon� he said with malice lacing his
voice. �I do not want to kill you. I want the girl that travels with
you. Hand her over.� Sesshomaru smirked at he audacity of this human; maybe he
would not kill him right away after all.
Keeping an eye on the
woman, he attacked. Striking at the place that had moments ago housed the
person of his targeted anger.
He was fast. Almost as fast
as himself. He checked the location of Rin and the demoness. Rin was fine,
still in the trees out of the area of danger. The demon woman had not moved and
was watching the battle curiously as if to see who would become victorious.
The monk shot a glare at
this insufferable youkai-my he is persistent. � Why do you even bother with
her? What is she to you exactly? She is human-I hear you do not like humans.�
Sesshomaru smirked at this. The man was trying to distract him. This was where
their fighting technique differed. While he liked to chat with his opponent,
Sesshamaru liked silent swift attacks. As he established another blow to the
monks left arm. This time he managed to draw a small amount of blood. Swirling
around in time before an energy blast hit him in the back. He brought out his
sword and aimed for his throat. The monk was quicker; he was behind him, in
front, now to the right. Sesshamaru was not done yet. This fool who had threatened
his Rin would pay most dearly. Plus the bastard had insulted him. That was
reason enough to rip his organs into long threads. He needed anger so he
thought of the worst thing he had ever seen. * (hmmmm�) * There had been when his mother died...
father�s death... Rin..... That was all he needed to see. His eyes turned full
red and he attacked with deadly accuracy. The exchanged blows for a while. The
monk tiring as he noticed the demon was very strong. He could just barely fend
him off with his staff and small energy blast. He needed to prepare properly,
he never thought this would be this hard. He stepped back as the sword came
clashing toward his head again. �Well I see I need to be going now. It was fun.
Beware I will be back and I will be watching you both closely.� He frowned and
with another of those shimmer type of things he was gone. The female youkai�s
mouth dropped. She had been observing from the edge of the clearing and was now
very angry. �That is it. You stupid man. GODS! I hate you!� With a leap she was
in the trees and then the sky, on a puff of wind. Sesshamaru�s eyes went back
to their gorgeous gold color and he looked around frantically for Rin. Spotting
her at a safe distance. He walked over. She had tears in her eyes and looked up
at him pleadingly. �Please Sesshomaru-sama don�t ever let anything happen to
you. It would kill me if you died.� He stared at shock. Didn�t she know how
easily she could have been killed and she was worried about him? �Don�t worry I
am not going anywhere. Come we must go now. I wish to go home at once.� They
walked together closely through the forest until they saw an ugly green blob
coming toward them.
Jaken was livid. He had
been searching for them forever! Ok not forever but a long time. And they were
probably cavorting in the woods. He scowled. Sesshomaru looked at him
distastefully. He couldn�t even be useful for once. Frowning he kicked Jaken a
good fifty feet where he landed with a thump on a bunch of prickly pine
needles. He was always being mistreated, this had never happened before she
came. Oh yes this was that entire girls fault.

^ Oh my god�It�s done! I
think I am going to cry. You guys had better review damnit or I will throw a tantrum.
It took me forever and I mean forever to get this chapter done and posted! You
people had better appreciate my work. I had such a bad case of writers block.
Oh well guess what� the LEMON is done. Do you want it posted? I better get some
love. All flames can be used to roast Jaken�s ass.
