Enter the Dimwit

Chapter 5

Yusuke was tired, sleepy, and aching. He was also very late.
He was on his way to Genkai�s for training. He should have been there hours
ago, but Koenma, that toddler, sent him on a mission. It was now two in the
morning, and knowing the old hag, she was going to be waking him up for
training at five in the morning. Just my
luck I get stuck training on a weekend. It was Saturday morning, his day to
usually oversleep and play videos games. Unfortunately, he had to train. He
came to this realization as the demons he kept fighting were getting stronger.
This last demon almost got the best of him. If it wasn�t for that lucky shot,
he would probably be dust by now. Thank kami the others hadn�t seen it. They
wouldn�t let him live it down. He finally made it up those steps and was about
to knock on the door when it was suddenly opened by the old hag.

�Your late dimwit.� Genkai said bluntly.

�Can it old hag. I�m here aren�t I?� Yusuke said grouchily.

�Hn. Barely. What happened this time?� She asked. Not
showing in her tone of voice how worried she really was.

�I had a run in with some demon.� He said simply. �Hey old
hag, I�m tired. Can we finish this later.� Yusuke demanded.

�Hn. Your room has changed. I gave it to someone else.� Genkai
said simply.

�WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GAVE AWAY MY ROOM. WHERE I AM GONNA
SLEEP???!!� Yusuke shouted.

�Calm down dimwit. I said your room changed. Which means you
have a new one.� Genkai said calmly. The dimwit was taking it better than she
expected.

�Hn. Detective, did you expect to always keep the same room.
You rarely come here to train.� Hiei said, appearing suddenly, leaving Yusuke
to mumble incoherently.

�Hiei, good your awake. Can you please take him to his new
room. I�d really appreciate it. I am an old woman and I need my sleep.� Genkai
said simply and then took off to her room, not giving Hiei any time to reply.

�Hn. Follow me detective.� Hiei said. He started leading him
to his new room, but then an idea popped into his head. He was sure to get a
severe �down� for this, but it would be worth it.

Yusuke followed Hiei to his new room. As he was following he
noticed that he was being led to his old one, but shook it off thinking that he
was just too tired. He just wanted to
fall into bed and sleep.

�Here you are detective. Behave.� And with that Hiei
disappeared, leaving behind a confused Yusuke.

�Behave? Shorty must be losing it.� Yusuke mumbled as he
tossed his bag to the floor and stumbled to the bed. He quickly got under the
covers and promptly knocked out, not noticing anything different about the bed.

Hiei snuck in after he was sure Yusuke was out. He walked
over to the bed and arranged Kagome and Yusuke�s bodies. Yusuke now had his
arms around Kagome�s waist while Kagome had her arms wrapped around Yusuke�s
neck. Hiei smirked at his handy work and
took out his Polaroid camera. He took three pictures of them and then
after they finished developing, he put them in his pocket. Blackmail was going
to be so sweet. He was sure Yusuke would do almost anything for Keiko not to
see this picture. And Kagome, maybe she wouldn�t be so tempted to �Down� him so
much. He gave an evil chuckle as he exited the room. He couldn�t wait till they
woke up.

It was six in the morning and Kagome woke up having to go to
the rest room. Since she is in the habit of waking up early every morning, she
has the need to wake up early every day. On the weekends she usually just wakes
up, attend to her private needs, then goes back to sleep. This morning was
different. It was a Saturday morning, a usual weekend, but something was off.
Kagome couldn�t figure out what it was. She felt warm and safe and didn�t want
to leave the bed, but she had to go. She still hadn�t opened her eyes yet, and
was still feeling pretty groggy. She finally started to move and stretch, only
to feel something keep her in place.

Okay, what is going
on? Kagome started moving around in the bed and then something else caught
her attention. She didn�t know why she didn�t notice it before. It was loud
enough to wake the dead. What had just caught her attention was the sound of
some very, very, very, loud snoring.

When did Inuyasha get
here? Kagome asked herself, only to realize that Inuyasha is no longer
here. She left him 500 years in the past. Wait
a minute, if it�s not Inuyasha, then who in bloody hell is this? Kagome
asked herself, getting scared now, with a touch of panic.

�Eeeeeeeeyyaaaaaaaaah!!!!!� Kagome screeched as she jumped
out of bed. �RAPE!! PERVERT!!!! HENTAI!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT DOING IN MY
BED!!!!!!!! HIEI!!!!!!!� Kagome yelled so loud it woke up the entire household.
Or it would have if the household had been asleep. As it is they are all used
to waking up early.

Hiei was watching in the shadows and was disguising his
aura. He found that when she got emotional, she didn�t immediately feel him.
Genkai came walking sedately into the room, while Yukina looked out of breath.
The scene they encountered was of some strange boy still asleep in the bed
snoring quit loudly and a screeching Kagome pointing at the boy and demanding
why he was in her bed.

Kagome walked towards the boy and got close to his ear.
�WAKE UP!!!!!!� She yelled. He just kept on snoring. The sound of laughter made
her realize that she was no longer alone in the room.

�Genkai, what is going on here?� Kagome demanded of a
laughing Genkai.

�Sorry Kagome, but that�s the dimwit I told you about.�
Genkai said.

Kagome looked at the dimwit and started studying him. Let�s see how do I get him off my bed?
Then noticed that he was rolled in the covers. She grabbed the covers and
pulled very hard, making the dimwit hit the floor hard. That finally woke him
up.

�WHAT WAS THAT FOR YOU OLD HAG!!! CAN�T A PERSON GET SOME
SLEEP HERE!!� The dimwit yelled as he jumped up.

�SHE IS NOT AN OLD HAG YOU DIMWIT!! AND MAYBE YOU WOULD GET
SOME SLEEP IF YOU WOULDN�T SNEAK INTO OTHER PEOPLE�S BEDS. YOU PERVERT!!�
Kagome yelled at him. How dare he call
grandma an old hag.

�WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!! THIS IS WHERE SHORTY TOLD ME
TO SLEEP.� The dimwit yelled.

�WHO ARE YOU CALLING SHORTY DIMWIT. I�LL HAVE YOU KNOW
GRANDMA HAS A NAME AND IT ISN�T SHORTY. THAT AND SHE WOULDN�T PUT YOU IN THIS
ROOM SO YOUR LYING!� Kagome yelled.

�WHAT ARE YOU DEAF NOW! I DIDN�T SAY THE OLD HAG! I SAID
SHORTY!! YOU KNOW HIEI!!� The dimwit yelled back at Kagome while pointing to
Hiei. It seemed they both were doing a good job in exercising their lungs.

Kagome calmed down when she heard this. She then felt out
the room trying to see if she could feel Hiei�s aura. When she finally found it
she called out in a very soft voice that got everyone�s attention.

�Hiei, did you put this dimwit in my room?� Kagome asked.

Hiei gulped. This is
not good. �Hn.� Was all he could say. After all, he did put the dimwit in
the room with Kagome.

�Hiei. DOWN.� She yelled. As soon as Hiei hit the floor,
Kagome decided to exercise her lungs some more �DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN,
DOWN!!� Kagome yelled even more as Hiei kept on cursing at meet his old friend
the floor. She then took a deep breath. �Okay I feel better now. Oh gotta go
nature calls.� Kagome said cheerfully as she ran to the restroom.

The dimwit was completely lost. Why was she yelling �DOWN� and why does Hiei keep hitting the ground
with his body. This is just weird. I know maybe I�m dreaming. And so
thinking pinched himself. �OUCH!� he yelled. �Guess I�m not dreaming after
all.� He then looked back at Hiei and thought about that girl�s quick mood
change. He shuddered while thinking about it. �Creepy.� He said while hearing that
Hiei was still cursing into the ground. �Hey shorty are you okay down there?�

�Hn. I�m fine detective.� Hiei said as he was finally able
to lift himself out of the crater he made. He then stretched making sure he
hadn�t broken anything.

�Um. Care to explain what just happened there. Did you fall
or what Hiei?� Yusuke asked in a confused face. Still more asleep than awake.

�None of your business detective.� Was all a grumpy Hiei
would say.

�Who was that?� The dimwit asked.

�None of your concern.� Hiei responded.

�That dimwit is my new student Kagome. She is living with me
while she is training.� Genkai said simply.

�So will I be training with her? I don�t want to hurt her.� He said seriously. Not that he minded fighting
girls, he just didn�t like to beat on those who are obviously weaker than him,
with a few exceptions.

Hiei hearing this, smirked to himself. It�s more likely that she�ll hurt your detective.

�Don�t worry dimwit she�s stronger than she looks.� Genkai
said proudly.

�Hi I�m back. What are you still doing in my room. I wanna
go back to sleep already.� Kagome whined as she walked back into her room. She
was still sleepy and the weekends were the only days she got to get any extra
sleep.

The dimwit yawned when he heard Kagome mention sleep. �Hey
grandma, where�s my room so that I can catch some z�s?�

�Who said your sleeping. It�s about time you woke up for
training, you slacker.� Genkai said sarcastically.

�Huh. But she gets to go back to sleep.� He pointed out.
�And your training her too.�

�She works three times harder than you do and doesn�t slack
off.� Genkai said.

�Exactly, now get out I need my beauty sleep.� Kagome said
smugly. So this is the dimwit Genkai
keeps talking about. I have to admit he is cuter that I thought.

�Genkai. That�s no fair.� He whined.

�Stop whining you slacker and get to work. You have a lot of
training to make up for. I�ll see you later Kagome.� Gankai said as she dragged
the slacker out of the room by the ear. Curses could be heard as they left.

�See ya when I wake up Yukina, �Bye� Hiei. I hope you feel
better.� Kagome said sweetly.

�Hn.� Was all Hiei would say as he walked out the room. Beware Miko, paybacks a bitch. Hiei
smirked as he padded his pocket where the pictures were.

�See you later Kagome. Now get some rest.� Yukina said as
she walked out.

Kagome swiftly fell back to sleep, and didn�t wake up again
till ten in the morning. However the dimwit was now hard at work. Genkai is a
slave driver to dimwits and slackers. So by the time Kagome woke up the dimwit
was tired and begging for some rest.

�Come on Grandma, can�t I at least get some breakfast. I
haven�t eaten anything yet.� Yuske said as he was literally hold his whole body
up by his pointer finger. The very tip of it was glowing blue, showing that he
was working on his spirit energy.

�Come on slacker, you can last longer than this without
food. Now stop slacking and get to work.� Genkai said brusquely.

In the meantime, while the dimwit was busy whining, I mean
training, Kagome had already woken up and just finished her shower. �Good
morning Yukina.� She said cheerfully as she walked into the kitchen.

�Good morning Kagome.� Yukina said.

�Where�s Genkai?� Kagome asked as she dug into the fridge
for something to eat.

�She�s in the dojo training Yusuke.� She answered simply.

Kagome found some apples in the fridge and took two of them
out. Her mom was going to make her oden, so she wanted to leave plenty of room
for it. But she didn�t want to starve. �Yusuke? Who�s that?� Kagome asked.

�Oh that�s right, we never did tell you his name. Yusuke is
the dimwit Genkai is always telling you about.� Yukina said.

�Really? Is he strong? Hmm, I think I�ll go and check out
how he�s doing.� Kagome said and took off to the dojo, slipping one apple into
her jean pocket while eating the other one.

�Good Morning Genkai!� Kagome said cheerfully as she threw
the finished apple into the trash and took out the other one. She saw Yusuke
keeping himself up on his finger that was surrounded by his spirit energy.

�Good Morning Kagome. Came to watch the slacker huh?� Genkai
asked.

�Yeah, Yukina said you two were in here training. So I came
to check it out. Hey can I do that too?� Kagome asked eagerly.

�Hn. It�s not easy wench.� Yusuke smirked.

�I�m so sorry, I didn�t realize you were handicapped.�
Kagome said with sympathy lining her voice.

�Handicapped!!! What do you mean handicapped.� Yusuke
shouted and accidentally put too much energy into his finger, for he ended up
shooting himself up and out of the roof.

�Uh, Genkai? Where�d he go?� Kagome asked confused, while
still munching on her apple.

�That dimwit still had that much energy? He really is a slacker.�
Genkai said. �Don�t worry Kagome he�ll be back in, five, four, three, two,
one.�

Thud!!

Yusuke crashed back down. �Handicapped, I�ll show you
handicapped.� He yelled as he dug himself out of the crater he made.

�He has a one track mind huh Genkai.� Kagome asked wryly,
taking another bit out of her apple.

Genkai just, �Hn.� In agreement.

�What I mean is that you must be deaf if you don�t know my
name. Genkai said it loud and clear when I came inside.� Kagome said calmly,
finishing her apple and throwing it in the trash. Amazing she hadn�t lost her
temper yet.

�Look wench. I AM NOT DEAF.� Yusuke yelled.

Kagome covered her ears. �You don�t have to yell, I can hear
you perfectly.� Kagome muttered. �And since your not deaf, my name is Kagome.
KA GO
ME!!!� She said loudly. Just in case he really was somewhat deaf.

�Yeah, Yeah, what ever.� Yusuke muttered. �Hey old hag, can
I take a break now.�

�No, start again.� Genkai demanded.

�She is NOT an old hag, you, you, you DIMWIT.� Kagome said
angrily.

�MY Name Is Not Dimwit, wench.� Yusuke said. �Only the old
hag can call me a dimwit.� He said angrily.

Kagome was finally starting to lose her temper. She took in
a deep breath. �Genkai, are you sure Yusuke is your �best� student?�

�Not anymore he�s not.� Genkai said simply, a bit confused
as to why Kagome would ask that question.

�HEY OLD HAG WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN.� Yusuke yelled.

�SHE IS NOT AN OLD HAG!� She yelled to Yusuke. Then to
Genkai, �You wouldn�t mind if I taught him some manners, would you?� She asked
hopefully.

Genkai, finally understanding what Kagome was asking, smirked.
�Go ahead Kagome, be my guest.�

Kagome gave a huge smile and took out a rosary from her jean
pocket. This one had blue beads. She quickly put them over her hands and had
her hands as if she were praying. She then started chanting.

Yusuke seeing the beads around her hands starting to glow,
started yelling. �WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. WHY ARE THOSE THINGS GLOWING. WILL
SOMEONE ANSWER ME?�

The beads then started floating apart and then quickly
reformed around Yusuke�s neck. �WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!� He started to yell.

�Quiet.� Kagome commanded. And quickly enough Yusuke�s mouth
kept moving, but he was making no sound.

�Is that it?� Hiei asked angrily, appearing out of nowhere.

�Yes, it appears you must be slipping.� Genkai said in
disappointment. She and Hiei were now staring at a voiceless Yusuke. It was
obvious that they had expected something more than that.

�Sorry, but that was only my first command. Besides he
wouldn�t let me think of a good one with all that racket he was making.� Kagome
said simply.

�First command?� Hiei asked, starting to worry.

�What do you mean by that?� Genkai asked.

�Well, all my rosaries are different. Some only have one
command, while others have more than one. Once Kaede showed me how to make one,
I started experimenting to see how many words of subjugation I could put for
each one. The most I could do is twenty.� Kagome explained. Genkai�s mouth
widened and Hiei stiffened in shock.

�How many do I have?� Hiei asked, dreading the answer.

�Oh. Uhm. He he he, five.� Kagome answered nervously.

Hiei gulped. It wasn�t as bad as he was worrying over, but
it was still bad. �How many did you put on the detective?�

Kagome looked confused. �Detective?�

�The dimwit.� Genkai answered, and looked over at the
dimwit. Yusuke had stopped trying to talk and was now listening to what was
going on. From what she was talking about, and the fact that he couldn�t talk,
he was slowly starting to understand what was going on.

�Oh, well, um, the whole twenty.� Kagome finally answered.

�What?� Genkai said in shock, then started laughing
hilariously, even Hiei was chuckling at the dimwit�s situation. The most feared
human in the Makai was now at the merci of a female. And not just any female, a
Miko.

Yusuke finally getting his voice back as the spell was now
wearing off, �What the hell do you mean twenty?� And started pulling the beads
offs, only to find that they wouldn�t budge.

�Yeah well, uh gotta go. I promised mom I�d be home for
lunch. See you later Genkai.� Kagome said cheerfully as she tried to run away.

Yusuke blocked her exit. �Sit boy!!� Kagome yelled, and
Yusuke fell face first into the ground, kissing the ground. She quickly jumped
over him and headed out. �See you later Genkai!�

Yusuke was now muttering and swearing into the floor. Hiei
was now smirking, at the thought that the detective got it a whole lot worse
than he did. When the spell finally wore off, Yusuke sat up. �Who the hell was
that?� he demanded.

�That Yusuke, is my new student Kagome. She is a Miko.�
Genkai answered proudly.

�Unless you want to keep eating dirt detective, I advise you
to learn her name and use it.� Hiei warned him.

Yusuke finally noticing the beads around Hiei�s neck started
laughing hilariously. He now knew what all those �downs� meant. �Don�t tell me
she got you too.� Yusuke finally got out between shouts of laughter.

�Hn.� Was the only comment Hiei would give.

�Come on Yusuke, back to work.� Genkai demanded.

�But, but, but, GRANDMA!� Yusuke whined as he was put back
to training.

Lunch came and went quickly for Kagome. She had gone home to
visit her family and was now currently walking to Genkai�s. It was now two in
the afternoon, and Kagome was in an extremely good mood. For some reason, she
just couldn�t wait to get to Genkai�s. She was so full of energy that she just
wanted to train some more, maybe even learn some new techniques. Genkai was a
fountain of information, when it came to what could be done with spirit energy.
And she figured that if it could be done with spirit energy, then it could be
done with her Miko energy as well. So she did a lot of experimenting with her
two energies.

�Hello, I�m Home!� Kagome yelled as she entered the temple
in which she now lived in.

�Kagome, good your home. Are you going to start your training
already, or are you going out again.� Genkai asked.

Yusuke who had been walking in stopped at what Genkai said.
�What do you mean she doesn�t have to train yet. You�re just letting her go?�
he demanded. Just who is this girl that
Genkai let�s her do whatever she wants? Yusuke wondered to himself.

�Well Yusuke, I can call you Yusuke can�t I? It�s like this,
my training sessions don�t usually start till at least six at night. I
sometimes start earlier though, but I usually overdue my sessions, which requires
me to recuperate to gain my energy back. Though it has been coming back faster
than it used to.� Kagome said. �Genkai, I�m just going to change, and then your
going to show me how to do what Yusuke was doing this morning when I walked
in.� Kagome quickly left the room before she finished talking.

When Kagome walked back out she was wearing blue biker
shorts and a blue tank top. She had taken to wearing these type of clothes when
she trains, seeing as how she has to be flexible. She couldn�t wear jeans,
since they can be constricting. A regular t-shirt would get in the way if she
were to stand upside down, and of course skirts were out of the question.

�Kay, I�m ready.� Kagome announced as she walked into the
dojo. And she really was. She had so much energy that she felt she had to �do�
something.

�Kagome, in this exercise you are to call out your energy
into your pointer finger this time and not your hand.� Genkai said, while
Yusuke was sitting in a corner just lounging and taking this chance to actually
relax.

Not even five seconds passed and Kagome had both of her
energies swirling and intermingling on her pointer. �Kay, got it.�

�Kagome, for this exercise I want you to separate your
energies, just use one at a time. Once you get tired of one, I want you to
quickly switch to the other one.� Genkai informed her.

Kagome did this quickly. �Now what?�

�Now bring your body up vertically and stand on your
finger.� Genkai said.

Kagome quickly brought her body into alignment and just
stood there on her finger. Genkai then had Yusuke start his exercise again. He
has had plenty of time to rest and it was now time to resume his training.

�Yusuke get back over her your slacker and get into
position. I am still not satisfied. You still have a lot of energy left.�

�Okay, okay, you old hag.� Yusuke muttered.

�STOP CALLING HER AN OLD HAG!� Kagome yelled angrily while
still maintaining perfect control of her energy.

�Fine, yeah, whatever, wench.� He muttered as he quickly got
into position. I hope grandma doesn�t put
me over that big needle again. Yusuke thought to himself.

�Sit.� Kagome said in a perfectly calm voice.

THUD!

�WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!� Yusuke yelled at her while trying to
get out of the crater.

�That was for calling grandma an �Old Hag�.� Kagome said
calmly.

Yusuke grumbled into the floor trying to get up. When the
spell finally let him up, he walked over to where Kagome was at. He then
attempted to push her over, only to come up against some sort of barrier.

�WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!� He shouted, while still poking
around the barrier.

�That is my barrier, you dimwit. Did you really think I
would just let you push me down. HN. I think not.� Kagome replied
sarcastically.

�Whatever,� he said and turned away dismissing her.

Now Kagome detests being ignored. But what she hates even
more than that is being dismissed as if she were �nothing�. �Heel boy.� She
said calmly.

Yusuke was completely unprepared for what happened next. He
quickly sat down on his legs, his behind touching his feet. His two hands
planted on the ground right in front of him. He looked like a dog sitting and
waiting for his master to give him a treat. To say the least Yusuke literally
blew a top over that.

�WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!!� He yelled at her.

�Quiet, I�m trying to concentrate.� Kagome said calmly, as
if she hadn�t done anything.

Genkai was smirking as she just stood back and let the
fireworks begin. She had a feeling that things were going to get lively around
here.

It took a whole five minutes for that spell to wear off so
that Yusuke could move. He still couldn�t talk.

�Get back to work you slacker.� Genkai told Yusuke as soon
as she saw that he could move.

Yusuke glared at her, but seeing as he still couldn�t talk,
did as she commanded. This really sucks.

Fifteen minutes passed since they first started doing this
exercise. Kagome, wanting to train both energies equally, would regularly
switch her energies. She finally got bored and made her whole body float over
that gigantic needle that was on the other side of the room.

Genkai seeing this smirked to herself. She was wondering how
long till Kagome got bored. Yusuke seeing this, was muttering to himself about
teacher�s pet. Twenty minutes passed after that and Kagome was still hovering
above the needle with one finger. She was now bored and didn�t feel like taking
a nap. Instead she brought up her other hand and started drawing illusions over
the air, to help pass the time. Genkai was surprised, she hadn�t known that she
was able to do that. Yusuke almost fell down, he was so stunned. Kagome first
started drawing Genkai. She made it perfect, same height, same hair, same
everything. Next, she did Yusuke. Only this time it was not an exact replica of
him. She decided to make a few minor changes to his look. First she drew him
wearing a school uniform, only instead of him wearing his customary green, he
was now wearing pink. Her school colors.

�What the hell!� Yusuke shouted.

�You do look so much better in pink dimwit.� Kagome replied
calmly.

Genkai was chuckling to herself. �Yes Yusuke, pink does seem
to suit you well.�

�I DO NOT WEAR PINK!!� He shouted.

�Okay, okay keep your pants on.� Kagome mumbled. She then
drew Yusuke in the air, but this time she put him in black hip hugging jeans.
Jeans that hug his hips and his thighs but flared down. She also drew him a
black tank top, but did something different with his face and hair. Yusuke was
trying to figure out what was wrong about with this picture when it finally hit
him.

�I DO NOT WEAR MAKE-UP! IS THAT A BOW IN MY HAIR! WHY AM I
WEARING A BOW!!!!� He yelled quite loudly.

Kagome winced at the sound. �But Yusuke, you look so good
wearing it, that I couldn�t resist. �Grandma, doesn�t Yusuke look good in
that?�

�HM..� Genkai murmured and pretended to think over the
subject, making Yusuke sweat it out. �I have to say, it is an improvement.�

�WHAT DO YOU MEAN AN IMPROVEMENT YOU OLD HAG!� He shouted
angrily. I am not a girl to be wearing
make-up, a bow, or even pink.

�Sit� Kagome said it casually.

Yusuke fell face first into the ground, meeting his new
friend. �WHAT WAS THAT FOR YOU WENCH!�

�Quiet.� Kagome said. Immediately Yusuke�s vocal chords
failed him. No matter how much he moved his mouth, he couldn�t say anything.

�In case you have forgotten, my name is KA GO ME.� She said
her name slowly as to make no mistake. Kagome then pushed herself up and
switched hands. Instead of using her right pointer finer, she now used her
left. Then promptly ignored Yusuke, since she now needed to concentrate a bit
more. She gradually got used to using her other hand.

Yusuke was finally able to get up from the subduing spell,
but he still couldn�t talk as yet. He did glare menacingly at Kagome before he
resumed his practice. Deciding it wasn�t worth arguing with Kagome, he quickly
retook his position and concentrated on building up his spirit energy again.
Hours passed like this, with Kagome occasionally switching hands and Yusuke
quietly mumbling to himself about old hags, spiteful wenches, and slave
drivers.

�Okay you two, that�s enough for now. It�s time to eat
dinner.� Genkai bluntly informed them as she came into the room. Neither Kagome
nor Yusuke had noticed that Genkai had slipped out.

Kagome gently floated off of the needle and brought herself
down on her feet, and started stretching. Yusuke just let himself fall where he
was and promptly stood up, he also started stretching.

�About time.� He grumbled out.

�Hey Genkai, what time is it?� Kagome asked curious.

�Six in the evening. Time for you two to get something to eat.
You can�t train on an empty stomach.� She said gruffly. Then Kagome�s and
Yusuke�s stomachs gave a very loud growl.

Both Kagome and Yusuke blushed at this, making Genkai
chuckle at the two. �Come on you two it�s time to eat.� And led the way to the
kitchen.

The food was already prepared and on the table. Yukina and
Hiei were also sitting in the table waiting for the other two to show up. Hiei
was frowning because Yukina was making him wait for the other two before he
could dig in. As soon as Genkai, Yusuke, and Kagome sat down, everybody went
for the food. After much passing around and serving each other they were
finally eating.

�Grandma, after we finish eating, do you think I could spar
with someone. I mean I have been training my energies so far, but I also need
to train physically. I can�t just let everything I have learned go to waste.�
Kagome stated.

�That�s a good idea Kagome. Do you know who you would like
to spar with.� Genkai asked.

�Hm. I �was� thinking about Hiei, he is very powerful, but I
would like to see what the slacker is capable of. Do you think he might want to
spar with me?� Kagome asked interested.

�I�m right here you know. Why don�t you just ask.� Yusuke
said belligerently.

Kagome turned towards Yusuke and put on a cheerful face.
�Well would you?� she asked hopefully.

�Sure, why not. I need to stay in shape also.� He said as if
he didn�t care one way or another. When in truth he was very curious to see how
strong this girl was. She was beautiful. A bit creepy though, but beautiful. He
felt a bit guilty about thinking that way about another girl, but Keiko had
made it perfectly clear that she only saw Yusuke as a friend and nothing more.
Sure it hurt when she finally spelled it out, but Yusuke was not going to mope
for her forever. He had to move on.

When Hiei heard Yusuke accept to be Kagome�s sparring
partner, he smirked to himself. The
detective has no idea what he is letting himself in for. It wasn�t everyday
that he was able to witness the detective�s defeat when fighting. But he wasn�t
about to miss �this� opportunity.

After dinner Genkai led them into a clearing. �Genkai, why
are we here and not in the dojo?� Kagome asked.

�Because I don�t want to have to clean up after you two.
Besides I would like for my dojo to remain in one piece.� She said bluntly.

�Oh okay.� Kagome said, not quit understanding.

�Come on are we gonna start any time soon, or do you plan on
just staying over there.� Yusuke taunted.

�I was just waiting on you detective. You seem to be taking
your sweet time to get here and all.� Kagome said.

Genkai, Yukina, and Hiei moved off to the side. All three
wanted to see exactly what Kagome could do.

Yusuke smirked and swiftly moved in to punch Kagome in the
face, only to hit air. �Hey where did you go?� He yelled confused. He then
turned swiftly around only to see nothing, but he could hear Genkai and Hiei
chuckling, while Yukina was giggling.

Kagome had seen him coming in for the punch and had quickly
moved behind him. While she was there she was making funny faces behind his
back. When he quickly turned around, she easily moved with him, so he wasn�t
able to see her. She then started making bunny ears on Yusuke causing the
others much amusement. She finally got tired of the playing and tapped Yusuke in
the shoulder. When he promptly moved towards her it was only to get a punch
straight to the face. Which made him stumble back a few steps.

Yusuke shook his head and when his vision finally cleared it
was to see Kagome hold her fists together and waving them in the air as in
victory. He quickly rushed at her to try to land another punch, only to have
her disappear yet again. �HEY WOULD YOU STOP RUNNING AND JUST FIGHT ME!!�
Yusuke demanded.

�I WAS NOT RUNNING, I WAS DODGING!� Kagome yelled back at
him.

Yusuke attempted to punch her again, but instead of Kagome
running she quickly dodged it. He kept throwing quick punches and occasionally
swift kicks, only to find that Kagome keeps dodging.

Tired of being on the defensive, Kagome swiftly goes on the
attack. She starts throwing punches at Yusuke. At first they appeared to be
wild punches like the ones Yusuke was trying to land on her, but instead Kagome
was testing him trying to find his weak spot. Every fighter had one, you just
need to study them in order to find it. Those who have no weak spots are the
ones who have been able to adapt swiftly. Once Kagome found what she was
looking for, she quickly landed a punch right into Yusuke�s stomach. The punch
was powerful enough to throw him a few feet back, but he caught himself and
threw himself back in. He soon started throwing wild punches again.

�Stop throwing wild punches, think, strategize, look for any
weakness I may have. If you just keep throwing punches like that, you�ll just
be wasting precious energy.� Kagome told him in an emotionless voice, while
still dodging his punches. �Learn to think and strategize quickly. If not, then
you�ll be near exhaustion while your opponent has yet to begin.� And so saying
Kagome delivered a swift punch to his stomach. When he slightly bent down in
pain, she delivered a swift but powerful kick to his stomach lifting him at
least three feet into the air, only to get slammed down as Kagome quickly
jumped into the air and punched him down. Yusuke landed with a loud thud and
made a small crater on the ground.

Kagome just stood and waited for him to get up, she new he
wasn�t finished yet. Then she felt it, he was charging up. Kagome quickly
reached for both of her energies and held them at bay.

�Spirit Gun!� Yusuke shouted from his position on the floor.

Kagome quickly threw up her barrier rendering his spirit gun
useless. She had been waiting for him to attack, so she knew the best moment to
raise her barrier. �Sorry Yusuke, but that doesn�t work on me.� Kagome said
smugly.

�What! How were you able to do that!!� He shouted.

�Easily, I can show you if you like. But it�s not easy.�
Kagome warned. �Now are you just gonna stay down there all night or what?� She
taunted.

Yusuke shakily stood up. Then quickly resumed his attacks.
He kept on his old pattern of just throwing wild punches and kicks. �I don�t
know how you�ve managed to stay alive for so long. You need to think and
strategize. Don�t tire yourself out. Stop throwing wild punches on the hope
you�ll get lucky. That�ll just get you killed.� Kagome told him in a calm,
rational, emotionless voice.

�What do you care?� He huffed angrily.

�Your right what do I care?� Kagome said then landed a hard
punch to his face that effectively knocked him unconscious. She winced at her
fist. �Damn, no wonder he doesn�t listen. He has a thick head.�

Kagome looked up at the three who were watching. A smile
slowly formed on her face. �Well it looks like I win.� She said cheerfully.
�Genkai you don�t mind if I go to the dojo for a while do you. I want to
practice some fighting techniques my old sensei taught me.�

�Go ahead Kagome, I�ll have the dimwit taken to his room.
Hiei, would you help this old woman and drag that slacker to his room?� Genkai
asked.

�Hn.� And so saying he swiftly picked up Yusuke and dumped
him over his shoulder. Hiei quickly took Yusuke to his room to go and rest.
Knowing Yusuke, he was about to get more serious about training. Seeing as how
a girl just beat him, and quite easily at that. Hiei smirked, because he knew
things were just about to get interesting around here.

At the dojo Kagome was working out her frustrations. She was
practicing her punches, kicks, and flips. She was also deep in thought. What do �I� care if the dimwit gets hurts. I
mean I just met him for Kami�s sake. He�s loud, obnoxious, stupid, cute,
adorable, hot,� Wait a minute. Did I just say that. No, but be my imagination.
No way is that loud mouth cute or adorable. Maybe he is kinda hot. Not he
isn�t. Oh kami help me. Kagome thought as she went through her exercises.
She loved doing her exercises when she needed to think. As she finally finished
up and started getting ready for bed, she couldn�t help but feel that things
around the temple were about to get interesting. And not in a good way.

Well that�s it for this chapter. So hope you all like it. I
had to go several times and recheck this chapter cuz it kept feeling as if
something was missing, and sure enough I just kept adding to it. Well let me
know what you all think. Oh and do you think 20 commands is too much. Anybody
wanna help in figuring out what all those commands will be. For Yusuke I think
I have three down, I need 17 to go. Hiei I need 4, and I�m thinking on putting
one on Youko, and Jin. Not Touya though. Thinking about Kuwabara, but not sure
at this point. Those two are a bit iffy. So what I would like to know if anyone
could give me some more ideas. Oh and any body guards. Any takers. My friend
just threatened to beat me up cuz I told her that the next chapter is coming
slowly. Oh before I forget I may or may
not be able to update till next Monday. It depends if I can get the next
chapter out before Thursday. Going on vacation for a couple of days and no
computer or internet where I�m going. Don�t worry I�ll still be writing. I�m
taking my notebook and a pencil. Though I really hate writing on paper. Takes
too long.

chapters on the same day one right after another or I try at the same time, not
always easy. Darn computers. I hadn�t really paid attention to the fact that I
was putting in to many Japanese words. I just write what comes out of my pretty
little head. I have a friend who is forever reading my stuff and making
comments about what I write. But she never complained about my wording. Hmmm.
Oh and if I feel like I like what I just wrote, then I don�t go back and
reread. I never really gave it much thought about mixing Japanese with English,
seeing as how I�m always mixing my Spanish with English and I don�t speak
Spanish well. Actually, down here we all speak kinda slang. Not proper Spanish
