Kitsune Tails

Inu yasha ran ahead to find a very histerical Kagome. Even after all of the battles he had seen, the sight before him still made his stomach turn. Koga's main part of his body, was hung up by a large branch which had impaled him through his heart. Both his legs were missing along with one of his arms. Kagome stared at the sight of the masacured demon in front of her, then fainted. Inu yasha hurried to catch her before she fell into one of the numorus puddles of blood that were scatterd all over the area. What really freaked Inuyasha out was the fact that out of all the blood there, it was all Koga's. Apparently Koga hadn't been able to lay a scratch on his opponnet, this trully disturbed Inu yasha because in his fights with Koga they were pretty even. All in all, if the shards weren't here there was no reason to stay here. Just as Inu yasha was leaving the clearing his canine nose detected the light scent of kitsune. Not only was it of kitsune, but a familier kitsune. Inu yasha put that thought out of his head he would deal with that later, right now he needed to get Kagome away from this place as soon as possible. He held her in his arms as he ran from the bloody scene as fast as he could.
Later when Kagome had woke up, she began to immiediatly blame herself for what had happend. Inu yasha tried to explain to her that it wasnt her falt.
" Yes it is Inu yasha! I wished he would die! Its all my falt! I didnt mean it! I didnt mean it........." She said as she continued to weep. Inu yasha put his arms around her shoulders to try to compfort her. All this crying she had been doing lately had been tearing his heart to shreads. He always felt as if it was his falt when she cried. After all he promised to protect her right? Wouldn't protecting her include protecting her heart?
"Kagome its not your falt! Kogas death had nothing to do with you! Simply wishing something to be so, wont make it happen! Believe me I would know!" he said while forcing her to look into his eyes.
Kagomes tears stopped as she looked into his eyes, they were filled with love. A love she was certain was not for her. He talked of wishes not coming true, she supposed that he was talking about Kikyo. After all how could he love her when he had someone like her. She had to know. "Inu yasha tell me truthfully what wish do you have that you want to come true..." she kept eye contact with him when she said this.
" It's stupid..." he said as he got up to walk away he was stopped by Kagomes hand.
"Inu yasha tell me and be honest...........please" her voice began to crack up as the tears came back.
He knew he couldn't say no when she said please so patheticly. She looked so helpless, sitting there asking him what his wish was. He sat down next to her and embraced her, if he was going to tell her he couldnt look in her eyes. He couldnt stand the look of hatred she would have for him when he did. Kagome wrapped her arms around his back.
"My wish Kagome is....." Kagome closed her eyes as she tensed preparing for those heart breaking words.
" For you to love me the way I love you" Inu yasha said as he waited for her to push him away. He waited and he waited but all she did was hold him tighter and cry harder. He couldnt take it any more, he had to leave now before she could respond to his words. But when he tried to leave she just held him tighter.
"Kagome Im sorry I never ment for you to cry, but you asked me and I-I just couldnt lie to you, if you let me go I'll leave you alone" he said with sorrow heavy in his grief stricken voice.
" But" Kagome started. Inu yasha closed his eyes. ".....I dont want you to leave!" Inu yasha sighed she probably just wanted to take her back to camp.
" Alright I understand I'll take you back to camp first" Kagome finaly let go of Inu yasha and pushed him back so that she cold see his face. She placed her hand over his mouth.To Inu yasha's dismay, she was smiling. "Silly, Im not crying because Im sad Im crying because Im happy ..... I love you to Inu yasha...." she said as she removed her hand from his mouth. Inu yasha let out a breath he didnt know that he was holding as he saw the smile she gave him, it was a smile of true happieness.She wanted him! Loved him! A hanyou!
" Kagome I ........" he was stopped by the feel of her soft lips on his. He forgot what ever it was he was going to say and wrapped his arms around her neck as he ran his clawed fingers through her soft hair.Her warm tears wet his cheeks. She wrapped her arms around his back and parted her lips to give him access to her mouth. He slowly put is tongue into her mouth, and rubbed her tongue before further exploring. Kagome moaned softly into his mouth.When they parted the kiss, Inu yasha began to suck on Kagomes bottom lip. Then he trailed kisses down her throat and to the joint where her neck met her shoulder. Kagomes hot breath in his ear, only made him suck harder. "Inu yasha" Kagome said a little above a whisper, with a dreamy tone to her voice. Inu yasha had to stop this before it got out of hand. Even if Kagome did love him he knew that she wasnt ready for that yet.
Kagome was a little disipoined when he pulled away from her. She gave him her cutest pouting face. Inu yasha found it hard to resist that face.
"Kagome you know what will happen if we keep going?" he asked.
"Of course I do Inu yasha, and I want it to happen, I love you so much" she said as she went to kiss him again, a little upset when he didnt kiss her back.
"Inu yasha whats wrong?" She said a little hert.
"Kagome, I love very much too. More than I've ever loved anyone, But I dont think we should do this yet. You could get pregnant and then you would have to go home, and I need you here right now, we all do." he said in a very sincere voice.
"I understand that but, my heart doesent. I need you, please " she said and kissed him. This time he kissed her back. when they parted he wisperd into her ear in a deep husky voice.
" We cant go all the way you know" She nodded to agree, she was willing to go all the way but he was not, she could wait. Inu yasha laid Kagome down in the soft grass.He kissed her slowy and passionatly as his hands travled to the belt on the kimono she was wearing, he undid layer after layer, until he had access to her bare skin. She was wearing nothing but her under wear. He broke the kiss long enough to look at her partially naked body.
"Your so beautiful" he said with love and longing in his voice. He returned to kiss her lips one more time before he trailed kisses down her throat to her breasts.He sucked tenderly on her left breast before giving the right the same treatment. She ran her fingers through his silver hair, before finding his ears and fufilling a need she had had since she realised him. She rubbed them in slow steady circular motions. She almost jumped in suprise when she heard a low rumbling in his chest. He was purring. She smiled at that realization. When Inu yasha's kisses grew lower and lower she stoped her attentions to his ears and let him have his way with her. With Kagome's body completly submisive to him, he knew that he would have to stop then or he wouldnt be able to stop later. He forced himself off of her, and lay by her side. Kagome pouted a little bit but she knew that she shouldnt push him. He layed on his back to give her access to his chest so she could use it as a pillow if she wished. As she rested her head above his heart he wrapped one of his arms around her protectivly. She didnt bother to tie her kimono back in place, she just closed her eyes and allowed herself to be lulled to sleep by the sound of Inu yasha's heart beat. With Kagome already asleep Inu yasha was left alone with his thoughts. It had been so hard to not take her, she had been so ready, but a pregnancy was the last thing that they needed. He had taken care of her needs but his were still there wanting.Well he wasnt about to disturb her nuch needed sleep to satisfy his needs. So for now he would just have to be contant in knowing that she loved him in return and would give him what he disired when the time was right. He sighed. At least there would be no nightmares tonight, he hoped. They would return to the others in the morning but for now they would just stay content in eachothers presence.
