Chapter 6 Inu versus Kurohyou
Disclaimer: Trust me if I owned Sesshoumaru he would be my mate and we would be living the good life in Japan instead of daydreaming.

After four blissful days of conquering his Inu-Egyptian Princess InuYaa, Sesshoumaru made his way to meet with the Pharaoh and General to prepare for war. Although Sesshoumaru enjoyed battle he loathed war. The idea of going to a foreign land to aide fellow Inu reclaim power made him perturbed, however, as the Inu no Taisho it is his duty. He was sure of his triumph, but the tragedy of this war was something he was sure his new mate would not enjoy. ‘Her pleasure’…Sesshoumaru smiled inwardly at the idea that he finally had someone to protect. He could feel his power surge in his blood. Mating InuYaa gave him the supremacy he craved that he thought he would get from his father’s katana.
He entered the war room where InuJaja and InuAkin were waiting. The two doberman favoring youkai smirked knowingly at the demon lord. He knew they heard his claim upon the proud Inu-Egyptian princess along with the entire palace. His mind briefly drifted back to her pleasure filled moans. “As you know This Sesshoumaru has mated Princess InuYaa as negotiated. Now let us prepare for warfare, tell me of the Kurohyou of Nubia.”
InuJaja began telling the tale of Nubia being the golden city trading in gold, ebony, ivory, exotic feathers, copper, and precious metals until his father conquered the city and drove out the Panther tribe. Thus making all their riches now property of the Inu-Egypt tribe. “There was a mutiny in the city with the promise of gold and precious jewels for any disgruntled Inu who assisted. The panther archers are the most feared in all the lands. It was once known as Ta Sety which means Land of the Bow. That is how they over took us so quickly, a combination of fiery arrows which burned This Pharaoh’s royal city to ashes and traitors who created an entry to murdered my children and concubines along with my loyal staff.”

Several hours later the three male youkai had a flawless plan. Jaken was given his orders to assist his new lady on her daily duties and to keep her safe until his return. InuAsantewa decided to remain behind with her daughter to give her princess a familiar face in this new homeland.
As InuAkin sharpened his weapons, the mated males took a little extra time to bid their ladies farewell. Sesshoumaru tenderly caressed InuYaa’s belly before kissing her freshly marked forehead. “The symbol of the western house looks beautiful on you.” He was happy for the first time in centuries. This gift that came from a different land took mere days to infiltrate his heart. Though he was still icy cold to the rest of the world, for InuYaa, the daiyoukai opened up for brief moments to show her that he was capable of love.
Suited for war, the three Inu rallied the western army and departed for Egypt in a hurry. Sesshoumaru wanted to end this uprising and return to his mate quickly. In three days’ time they arrived at the ruins of the once vibrant city. The Inu Pharaoh and the InuAkin scowled at the destruction. The kurohyou left nothing of the once majestic temples, palace and city it was all destroyed in a blazing fire. They could faintly smell the charred remains of the citizens that must have but up a fight.
“Pharaoh we shall exact our revenge my lord,” InuAkin said trying to console his grieving sire. He could feel the anguish and sorrow radiating off of his body. His aura made him aware that a transformation into his Inu form would soon come.

Sesshoumaru, however, looked distant. InuAkin knew that Egypt wasn't his lands, but the slaughter was evident everywhere. He could not fathom how any inu could be unaffected by the carnage. ‘Does Lord Sesshoumaru lack compassion?’
Sesshoumaru was enraged that any panther tribe could do this to a proud race of Inuyoukai. Fear and death was still fresh in the air weeks later. The impaled nude bodies of woman and children stood as a reminder to the reason they were there… ‘We want our vengeance’ his inner youki growled. The scent of rape mixed with the blood of virgins made bile rise in his throat. In one word, the great Lord Sesshoumaru was shocked though his expression remained blank. Innards lay unceremoniously across the desert sand. The skewered heads of soldiers and the royal family, who still adorned their crowns, surrounded what was once the place of the pharaoh. One woman in particular reminded him of his beautiful InuYaa, her nude mutilated body showed the signs of gang rape. The dried semen of the kurohyou stained her thighs. Her long silver hair was worn in the same braids as his mate her eyes were purple but the same almond shape. In her hands she held tight to her chained like weapon. He knew that she fought until her bitter end. He slowly walked in her direction when he heard InuJaja say, “That was her half-sister, InuNika they were born on the same day. She created an opening for us to leave…she was supposed to be right behind us but the cries of her mother forced her to go back against my direct order.”
Sesshoumaru stiffened, “How many offspring were you forced to abandon?”
“Twenty princes and princess, most under ten summers,” InuJaja replied his heart mourned his offspring. He felt insufficient as a ruler. The regret and anger poured over him in waves. He had so much to protect, yet, he failed at that simple task.
General InuAkin felt the familiar aura of the Nubian panthers and readied his axe, “They are here.”
InuJaja wasted no time transforming into a huge black dog demon. Much like Sesshoumaru's father, he stood on his hind legs. He was almost taller than the great pyramids, the tallest stands at 590 feet. His golden armor was similar to his father with ten long spikes on each side, his gold breast plate shone brilliantly in the deserts sun. His blue and gold headpiece had a gold cobra on the front of his forehead which came alive during his transformation. Swaying back and forth the snake was ready to strike with fangs that dripped acid blue venom similar to InuYaa claws. Large gold and blue arm bands covered both biceps and golden barbs pointed out from them. Opaque white pleated cloth and a colorful golden belt was draped around his waist. More spikes wrapped around his calves were his sandals crisscrossed and tied. He held two massive golden battle axes the size of two football fields in each hand. Massive ivory fangs hung from his anguished face.
Beneath the towering figure of the Pharaoh stood InuAkin and an army of loyal Inu from Japan and those who remained hidden in Egypt. For this cause they band together to take down the panthers. Most unable to achieve the large stature of a daiyoukai, however, they fought in various forms both male and female warriors.
The panther’s reinforcements ran in the direction of the inu demons. Their numbers were in the millions. The archers got into position and began spraying the inu on the ground with arrows. Sesshoumaru easily destroyed them all with his green energy whip. He decided not to transform just yet, he wanted to get a good spar in first. Looking at InuJaja made him long for his father, but it also made him wonder why the powerful pharaoh traveled to Japan to ask for his help. Stalking his prey Sesshoumaru easily made his way through the thousands of panthers that attacked him. He noticed that the more he killed, more took their place.
As the sun set, InuAkin wasn't fairing as well as Sesshoumaru and InuJaja. He was already wounded in several locations. The entire Nubian panther youkai tribe was poisonous. The general, unfortunately, was not a venomous oni. Knowing the odds were stacked against him he fought on valiantly, powering up for his ultimate attack: the sand strike. The sky darkened as a grand sand storm raced towards the Kurohyou that were attacking him. InuAkin turned the normally soft sand into small instruments of death. The blood of the panthers sprayed from various directions as the sand cut through their bodies like small daggers. The agonizing screams filled the air as the hoard of youkai was slowly decapitated by the sand.

InuJaja in his rage swiped at the kurohyou. He sliced thousands in half with one swing, but his large frame made him sluggish therefore the panther slowly were enervating him down with their toxic claws and arrows. He saw InuAkin do his sand strike and decided he would call on the power of Anubis Lord of the Underworld, which made the dead walk. The bodies of the slain Inu and panthers began to awaken, including InuNika, who like InuYaa was a formidable warrior princess. “Go army of Anubis and acquire retribution of those who have slain you!”
The collision of swords between the undead solders and the panther youkai made Sesshoumaru's ears ache. He had never witnessed the power of InuJaja and InuAkin, they were truly remarkable. He sprayed more panthers with his poison and made his way towards the strong hold as planned. Knowing the two Egyptian Inu could handle the swarms of Nubian demons so he made his way to the inner chamber of the ruined palace.
“I have been expecting you Inu no Taisho,” the leader of the Nubian tribe said as he sat on the Pharaohs throne his yellow eyes glowing in the darkness.
Narrowing his eyes the daiyoukai knew exactly who this was. The panther king, whom was believed to be dead, sat before him in his familiar black and red trimmed vest and all black shinobi garbs. Four large horns sat on top his brown furry head which Sesshoumaru remembered his father describing them as deadly. His massive paws and sharp claws that he currently was flexing at the oni lord from Japan. “Kurohyou no Taisho I presume,” Sesshoumaru said while gearing himself up for a battle.
The massive panther stood up towering over small Sesshoumaru’s humanoid frame. He let out a large snarl before propelling his projectile claws at Sesshoumaru, who dodged the first set and parried the second set with poison whip. Seeing an opening the daiyoukai sprinted forth taking his venomous claws hacking at the enormous youkai’s face. Howling out in pain panther taisho attempted to impale the western lord, however he only succeeds in knocking him back.
Panting hard the injured daiyouki crouches down gathering his youki to transform. “Curse you!” he exclaims as his eyes glow red. The ground trembles as a powerful wind swirls around him. His silverish-white hair is blowing straight up, his royal kimono and fluffy flap in waves in the cyclone. Even the kurohyou is pushed back by this wind. Replacing his elven features, his face elongates into a furry snout and sharp fangs. An angry red cloud envelopes him as he darts around the tattered throne room. A loud explosion forces all fighting to stop as Sesshoumaru’s true demon form towers over everyone. A ferocious growl fills the air causing the panther minions to run off in fear. The great dog demon muscles flex as he stands on two furry legs. Unlike his father, his form remains humanlike except for his face and white pelt. His kimono and hakama expanded to fit his new form and his fluffy is now his tail. Jagged magenta stripes grace his once angelic face; his crescent moon covers his entire forehead. Glaring at the Kurohyou no Taisho he attacks with his full strength. His acid whip cracking against the panthers flesh filleting it. Each breath of the demon lord makes the air unbreathable for the panther leader. His lungs fill with searing hot fluid. Relentlessly, Sesshoumaru grabbing the throat of the kurohyou and rips out his wind pipe, whilst pouring green acid over the mortally wounded cats face with his claws.
The panther general wallowed in misery gurgling and gasping. His yellow eyes start to fade as he sees his tribe cowering in the presence of the Pharaoh InuJaja. Taking his last breath he curses the one thing he knew that was important to InuJaja, his daughter. ‘As I lay dying so shall she!’ he thought before giving up his youki to the pits of hell.
Thunder rang out as Anubis, God of the Underworld, came down from his throne. Looking around at all carnage he gathered up the kurohyou leader and burned his body in front of the inu pack. They all cheered and worshiped their deity.
A bright beam of light crashed down at the Pharoah’s feet, his mate arrived too late to fight but just in time to see Anubis depart. Her eyes wild with fear she looks at the true form of Sesshoumaru “InuYaa…was cursed!”
