Chapter 6:
The ferocity at which he had jerked away from her couldn’t have been described in words – the blood had rushed away from his now rapidly-fading red eyes, his fingers tightening disproportionately against her thighs before falling away completely.

It was only the pregnant silence that hung between them that had clued Kagome that she had made a most grievous mistake. Only when it had been too late had she noticed the tell-tale crescent moon adorning his forehead and the lack of puppy-like ears that adorned Inu Yasha’s head.

Instead, her blue eyes had landed upon the lord of the West with something akin to horror. “S-S-S-SESSHOUMARU?!” Kagome’s mouth gaped like a fish out of water, eyes widening not only in disbelief, but fear of the taiyoukai in front of her. She wasn’t foolish, no – of all people, Kagome understood better than most the deep seeded hatred that the brothers held for one another. And in her sleep weary mind, she had committed the grand felony of mistakes between both brothers.

It hadn’t clicked until moments into their silence that she was nude from the waist down or the dull, throbbing ache between her legs had left its evidence in a slick smear across Sesshoumaru’s face. With a furiousness that quelled her rising fear, Kagome did the only instinctual thing that an non-consenting female knew how to do: she raised her hand for a slap aimed at his face.
Sesshoumaru had only watched her in dissatisfaction, the blankness of his facial expression overlaying the rage that now burned through his veins, lust now laying forgotten in his mind. This testy little wench of a woman had compared him to his detestable half-breed of a brother. As if the fool could even satisfy his bitch, even if she begged, his mind snarled. How dare she compare the two!

It was with much frustration that the lord watched the little onna raise her hand against him, his clawed hand easily catching hers and bending it into submission by the wrist. As she cowered into obedience at the pain, the taiyoukai snapped an arm out to grasp her none too gently by the column of her throat, nails digging into the hollow, tender flesh. With a growl, he leaned over her submissive form, his nose barely brushing against her sweat-stained temple, her face turning away in a disgust she had not previously known.

“You will never address this Sesshoumaru by that name ever again. Do I make myself clear?”

At this, Kagome could only nod feebly, her eyes squeezing tightly shut. She dared not to utter another word, lest she upset him further. Goodness only knew that she had already said too much. He could snap her pretty little neck in a loving moment, should he have chosen to done so already. Kagome knew better than to tempt fate.

With mute satisfaction, Sesshoumaru gradually decreased the pressure on her neck and wrist, instead choosing to inhale sharply at the base of her neck, his aggravation reaching its peak. For a stupid bitch that had been calling out to his brother, the miko was strangely untouched. Had she expected Inu Yasha to take her?

Grunting with disgust at the thought, the lord roughly shoved himself away from the now shaking girl, ignoring the tug in his stomach that had suggested he act otherwise. Something was calling him to this woman, whether he liked it or not – though it took much of his internal strength to break away from her sing-song body.
With a whisper of silk, Sesshoumaru moved up and onto his knees, clawed hands moving to lay themselves timidly against his thighs, golden eyes staring regally down at the pitiful woman spread out before him like a late night meal. What should he do with her, now that he was finally here? The connections between his blue-eyed vixen and the woman before him had not fully clicked, leaving only the confusion of why he had been attempting to even bed the weak, human miko to begin with.

In the moment of silence between the two, the moon had slid out from behind it’s curtain of clouds, illuminating the pale skin of the female in front of him, causing her eyes to open and swivel, uncertain, toward the taiyoukai in question. What was he doing here? More especially, what was he doing to her?! Kagome’s hands moved to clench tightly at the silk of her nightgown, moving to inch it lower over her legs and cover the source of her arousal. He had been…he was…This is Sesshoumaru, right!? Her mind had sped several directions, a furious blush blooming across her face in humiliation. If anyone ever caught him here. If Inu Yasha even sensed his brother within the vicinity, much less her hut… Kagome took a sharp intake of breath at a growl emanating from the lord across from her.

He was upset that she was covering herself. Quickly stilling her hands, she watched him helplessly, her blush working its way into a strawberry color of embarrassment. Please look away, please look away, please look away! Her mantra repeated incessantly in her mind, willing Sesshoumaru to change his mind over whatever impulse that had led him into her hut.

And into you, her mind smirked mischeviously.

Sesshoumaru watched with mild interest the changing colors of the miko. She had gone from a pale cream to a distinct beet color in the matter of seconds. She was clearly embarrassed.

Why would anyone be embarrassed of bedding this Sesshoumaru?

Growling loudly at her attempts to cover her shapely thighs, Sesshoumaru finally broke the silence between the two and leaned over her body, each hand planting itself on either side of her face. With a curtain of silver hair draping around her and cutting off visibility to the rest of the hut, Kagome was force to stare fearfully into the golden eyes above her, a small shiver working its way down her spine. Whether it was from fear or from a wave of lust at the intense look he was giving her, she was unsure. What she was sure of though, was the unnerving sensation that followed the next words from his mouth.
“You will be punished for your resistance, human.”
It was following that moment that Kagome felt the silk nightgown being torn away from her body, a rush of cool air sweeping itself across her skin, like a balm easing the heat away. And as her eyes widened in surprise, it was with a scream that was smothered by his clawed hand, that responded as the Taiyoukai bit down on a robust nipple, fangs scoring the flesh.

He held no patience for humans or their fickle emotions, but as long as his body sought to couple with hers, he would turn this disgusting little onna into the most obedient of servants. She would learn to praise his attention and she would most certainly pay for mistaking his skill with the fumbling of his imbecile brother.

And she would pay, for luring this Sesshoumaru to seek out a mere human.
Sucking down hard on the now bleeding flesh beneath his lips, Sesshoumaru lavished it with the length of his tongue. And with actue hearing, he could sense her resilience crumble, the pain ebbing into the sting of sweet pleasure that had called him forth from the West. He would teach this idiot of a woman to be a proper bitch.
