Forceful Decision
Chapter Six
Inuyasha sighed as the pup within him stirred restlessly. Smirking he gently rubbed his extended belly.
"Its OK I want you out too" he spoke with a chuckle. The pup gave a final kick before finally settling down. Inuyasha smiled. He had a feeling that his pup was going to be a handful just like he was.
"Serves the bastard right. I hope you grow up strong and cause him hell" he muttered out loud just as Sesshomaru entered the room. At the sight of his older brother, Inuyasha's ears laid back against his head as his brother approached. Sesshomaru sat down beside Inuyasha as he too placed a hand over his hanyous swollen belly.
"I'm sure any pup of yours will be troublesome" Sesshomaru spoke with a small amount of pride as he didn't want his heir to be boring. His heir needed to be strong, composed, quick on his feet as well as a stubborn streak that would only come from his hanyou brother; a brother he'd spent years trying to kill.
Inuyasha shuddered as he felt Sesshomaru touched his cheek in an almost tender touch that Inuyasha didn't trust. For now he planned to just play along till his pup was born then once he had recovered, Inuyasha planned on escaping with his pup, however he first had to earn Sesshomaru's trust till he dropped his guard ten he could make his move.
Sesshomaru eyed his mate closely fully aware Inuyasha would make another escape attempt. His brother was anything if not stubborn and it was that fire and will was what made Inuyasha so appealing to keep around.
"My mate our pup will be born soon and then I can enjoy you once more" he whispered causing Inuyasha to stiffen as he wrapped his arms around him. Inuyasha squirmmed restlessly as the pup began to shift once more. Concerned, Sesshomaru helped Inuyasha to lie down. The birth was close and Sesshomaru was looking forward to taking his brother once more. He looked down at his brothers sleeping form and gently stroked his ears. There he remained as Inuyasha slept.
Inuyasha stirred awake as pain assaulted him. The pup thumped harshly within him as sweat dripped down his face. Then something cool was pressed against his brow. He turned to see Sesshomaru beside him as well as the healer.
"Its time my Lord but we are going to have to cut the pup out of him" the healer stated.
"Do as you must" Sesshomaru agreed as he continued to his task. The healer nodded. Inuyasha groaned as the pain increased.
"I ...hate...you" he groaned out in between the bouts of pain to Sesshomaru who ignored him.
"Never... again" still Sesshomaru ignored his mate as he held him in place as the healer returned with a knife. Inuyasha tensed as the healer approached. He began to struggle against his brothers strong but firm grip which tightened. The healer placed the knife to just below his belly and cut. Inuyasha screamed at the intrusion, cringing as he felt the healers hands inside as his pup was removed.
Sesshomaru moved away as the healer washed the pup who had started waling, allowing Inuyasha to fall back against the soft pillows. Once the pup was wrapped, the healer placed the pup in Sesshomaru's arms.
"You have a healthy heir my Lord" the healer spoke bowing before making her way over to Inuyasha who had already started healing.
Inuyasha glared at her, growling low. Once finished, the healer left the room leaving the two brothers alone.
"He shall be called Takahiro" stated Sesshomaru as he turned to face a still growling Inuyasha.
"Let me see my pup" Inuyasha demanded causing Sesshomaru to raise an eyebrow at him.
"Why should I?" He asked coldly.
"After everything you've put me though, I think I should be able to see my pup" he snarled as the demon part of him raged at the very idea of being kept away from his new born.
Sesshomaru didn't answer however he made his way over to Inuyasha and sat beside him on the bed. Inuyasha glanced down and smiled warmly at the now quite pup. He was beautiful with his round cheeks and his small ears. The pup bore Sesshomaru's markings but Inuyasha didn't mind that. He was grateful the pup had inherited something from him and he was determined to insure that his pup wouldn't turn out like his father.
Sesshomaru rose to his feet. Inuyasha growled as he attempted to get to his pup. Pain assaulted him as he was still healing.
"You need to rest and recover and then we shall start on our next pup" Sesshomaru spoke coldly. Inuyasha snarled.
"There's no way I'm going to let you do that to me again" he snarled.
"You say it like you have a choice in the matter my hanyou. I will take you as I see fit either willingly or by force" and with that Sesshomaru left the room.
Inuyasha stared blankly at the door as he felt a part of him break. He was trapped and no matter what he would stay to protect his pup even at the cost of his happiness.
That's chapter 6 sorry for the long wait. I lost inspiration but I would like to thank hernarcissit as her stories are giving me inspiration.
