A bad-tempered Ailyn and seven naked mercenaries walked through the depths of the woods till they found the first village where the men could finally satiate their thirst of blood. Anna's twin abstained herself on accompanying the bandits, because she was eager to find a river or a lake to wash herself. At that time, after hours wandering around with those strangers, the lass was no longer bewildered with their looks or manners, although the tall, bald one and the smallest and rounded-shaped guy sometimes directed her some gazes that made her gut revolve in disgust.
Anyway, I could send them back to the underworld with a snap of fingers. The thought calmed her down a bit, while the Red Rose was cleaning every trace of dirt in her porcelain skin and precious aurum hair. After finishing the bath, Ailyn shook the rest of the earth away from her cloak. Luckily, her dress wasn't so dirty. Already wearing the fancy garment, she went to the top of a hill and sat there to wait.
At least I can look at the the morning sun one more time. Her clear eyes raised to the sky, attentive to the light-blue tone adorned by a few white clouds, a slow and deep breath blew from her parted ruby lips and she smiled. One way or another, Ailyn was able to move from the inertia of living inside... a tree?! What an absurd fate it would be for someone like her.
Steps sounded, coming closer. By the corner of one eye she saw that little unpleasant fellow who she has brought back to life. Still bared, his tanned skin was bathed in blood, a smile shone in his face while he stopped in front of her, dropping a package.
"What is it?" She asked, not caring too much about the mortal fluids covering his muscles.
"A gift to you." Bankotsu smirked, his comrades were arriving, everyone bringing an amount of belongings they had robbed.
Ailyn, confused by his gesture, first blinked some times and then opened the sack. Her eyes immediately rolled and she snorted.
"Was it supposed to scare me?" The lass pulled a warlord's head from there, holding it by the hair she pointed the present's face to the man who was staring at her and giggling with bewilderment at the same time. "I have seen worse." Ailyn just tossed that corpse's part down the hill like it was nothing but a piece of garbage. "You really are a dunderhead living-dead." And, as all the times she enumerated a curse or any word to offend him, Bankotsu just showed himself pretty amused in response.
"Well, if you all excuse me, the dunderhead living-dead here will take a bath to dress his new clothes up!" Unworried, the leader of the band mocked before going down the hill, carrying a bag on his back.
Ailyn remained sitting distant from the men, listening them laugh and talk about several things while drinking sake. Jakotsu seemed to forget looking at her with hostility, at least for the moment, he even prevented Mukotsu to step closer to where she was. The older and smallest assassin was kept in place, and then all of the mercenaries, gathered in there, soon were quite busy enjoying their conquer, so Lynnie's presence was not considered so relevant and realizing it was indeed a relief, for she didn't desire any sort of contact with those ones, at least. Though, the little trick performed by their "big brother" was still messing with her nerves somehow.
Out of the blue, Ailyn had an idea that made her muffle a laughter, something that would help to shove that boredom aside a little bit, as silly as it could be. Discretely, the lass rose up and walked away from the distracted group. In light steps she followed the same path Bankotsu has gone through. Hearing the noise of flowing water, the foreigner knew where the lad would be, so lurking between trees and bushes, the Red Rose found the leader of the band distractedly washing himself inside the stream, his new clothes were hanging on a branch nearby. Since Bankotsu was on his back, he couldn't notice when a greenish mist came from the woods and evolved that white and blue garment, taking it away, hiding the clothes somewhere beneath the thick grass.
Inspired on causing some trouble, Annabelle's sister came a little closer to the riverbank, concealing herself behind a large, peeled trunk. Squinting, one turquoise eye watched the man finish to clean his tanned, muscular shapes, and then sit on the stream's edge just to calmly braid those long obsidian locks of hair. At last, since the moment Ailyn awoke him, that was the first time she noted just how well shaped that masculine body and those azure naughty eyes were. Her lips parted and a sigh escaped almost unnoticed. Bankotsu suddenly smirked then.
"So, how long will you stay there prying on me?" He asked just when his braid was done.
Ailyn showed herself without any clever answer ready on the tip of her tongue. One of her hands rested on the wooden trunk beside her, while the lass faced the mercenary, insisting on looking at him up and down, capturing every form of his, with a challenging shine into her eyes. He could read the audacity on her features, what made his smirk enlarge a bit.
"So what? Let me see... shorty, living-dead, dunderhead and... what else did you say?" Already on his feet, he crossed his arms.
"Shorty, uncultured..." Lynnie enumerated while descending the rocks on the creek's edge "Living-dead, dunderhead, yes..." then she stopped right in front of him, over shallow waters, and her voice sounded unexpectedly sweet - or almost: "Yet ugly... I never said you were." Crimson lips discretely grinned.
"My, my..." The man's savage gaze narrowed and his arms rested on his body's sides, like he intended to keep his front quite visible to Ailyn's delight. What he didn't see, though, was that just to look was not her intention. All of sudden, the leader of the mercenaries felt delicate fingertips rubbing his abs, going up to his chest, contouring the natural designs of his muscles. His manhood grew erect instantaneously and Ailyn came closer still, their noses stood a few inches from each other at first, then her lips almost reached one of his ears and she purred:
"Are you not missing anything important?" Oh, she was well aware about her beauty and seductive skills.
"Missing what?" With his reason blurred by the sudden arousal, he questioned.
Ailyn ceased to play the femme fatale to get some distance and then she bursted into laughing. This time, Bankotsu wasn't in the mood though. He frowned a bit, watching her dry off the eyes, watering for so much amusement. As soon as the lass could recompose herself, she cleared her throat to speak:
"Was not something of yours hanging in there?" The foreigner pointed to the bench where his clothes once were.
"Tsk, tsk..." Bankotsu looked at the tree, then stared at Ailyn again. "If you wanted so badly to see me naked, you could've just asked for it." A sided smirk appeared again on his challenging complexion.
She continued laughing, slowly getting some distance from him. It has been fun to see such a cocky fellow having to deal with a little embarrassment. Yet, he seemed more frustrated than embarrassed for her trick.
"Big brother!" a squeaky voice echoed till it got closer. "Aren't these your clothes?" Jakotsu bumped with the creasy garments hidden between the grass, took them and waved in the air to show the pieces of wearing. Finally, he saw the female ally right in front of his comrade and a disapproval grimace twisted his features.
"Yeah, looks like they flew with the wind." The leader mocked, his cobalt pools still stuck on the laughing woman ahead, contemplating her confident posture of a winner. "Well, we have a plenty of things to do, but first we must find a place to spend the night and make a plan". He said while taking his clothes to calmly get dressed.
"Maybe we can stay in that village we just attacked. We didn't destroy all the houses" Jakotsu suggested and Bankotsu soon agreed. Ailyn coughed, cleaning her throat after so much laughing, then followed the men. What else could she do?

They walked till reach the locus demised by their own hands, where corpses were tossed down, leaving a trail of blood on the arenaceous ground of the yard, red painted the walls of little cottages around, in the center there was a biggest building, possibly an inn, which was the only place that still was possible to inhabit and also had enough rooms to each one of them to accommodate themselves. Ailyn raised her long skirt till her ankles were exposed and then she walked through that scenery of death, her legs passed over many dead bodies, her eyes never lowered to give them attention. While Mukotsu's cheeks grew red and his large mouth almost salivated, Renkotsu felt suspicious about Ailyn's indifferent demeanor and murmured at his leader's ear:
"What a strange woman, she doesn't seem to care about the massacre, not even is afraid of any of us."
"She says she isn't a yokai, but take a look to her weird hair and eyes." Suikotsu complemented "I wonder how her blood looks like..." His eyes shone wicked and curious.
Bankotsu blinked a few times, looking at the golden-haired woman elegantly stepping by the large house's stairs. His eyes fell upon some tiny braids adorning the top of her head, so sophisticated as her scarlet long dress. Seeing red and gold fade into the darkness of an abandoned building flourished his curiosity. He chuckled briefly, then answered his comrades:
"It doesn't matter if she's weird, if she's yokai or not, she works for Naraku so we won't mess around with her. Understood?" Although Renkotsu and Suikotsu were the ones discussing the matter, Bankotsu spoke those words loud enough to every companion hear, specially Mukotsu. Except from Ginkotsu and Kyokotsu, the rest of the men sighed in disappointment. Truth to be said, most of then wished to play around with the western woman in their own ways - some with bloodshed included.

They all sat together in the festive room where some women's bodies were splayed around. In there, Ailyn started to talk everything she knew about Naraku's enemies. She described the hanyo Inuyasha's skills, then mentioned Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Kirara and saved a few words to the little fox Shippo who she considered irrelevant. So, Ailyn detailed what she knew about Kikyo, "the living-dead priestess" - as she called. Disgust was evident on her tone while speaking of Naraku's old beloved.
The only ones she hadn't something to say about were Sesshomaru and Koga, for Ailyn has not met the two and barely heard anything about them. It didn't matter though, all the things she has shared were far enough for the Shichinintai begin to make their plans of attack.
Considering her work done, Ailyn left them on that chamber and went searching a room for herself. When she found one that reached her standards, the lass took the first layer of her garment off, then untied the ribbons of her velvet corset and let it fall upon the ground, leaving her body covered only by a black, thin chemise. Feeling relaxed, she laid on her side over a futon, throwing aside a rigid pillow used by women to maintain their coiffure untouched, so her head could rest comfortably there. Well, the most comfortable she could get in such a kind of bed anyway. How Ailyn missed the occident in times like these! How can women of these lands sleep so stiffened just to keep their hairstyle impeccable? She thought. The lass' vast yellowish curls, at last loosened, were spreading over the white futon and beyond, waving over the wooden floor.
The door has been slightly slid a bit, so slow was it's movement that not a sound was made. Through the gap, a little black eye lurked, stuck on Ailyn's bared shoulder, the sleeve has fallen aside when she laid turned to the wall.
"Renkotsu..." a man whispered scolding him. "What are you doing in there? Didn't you listen what I said?"
"Oh, I..." he mumbled, the tongue twirled nervously and it became hard to justify his actions without messing up the words, then the mercenary shook his head and moved away from the entrance. "Forgive me, big brother!" He said, going away in fast steps till he vanished in corridor's bend.
Bankotsu hummed, then crossed his arms and smirked. Clearly his companion was quite interested in the woman. He sighed quietly, and when finally assured there was no one around, the leader of the Band of Seven dared to place his eye in the same gap Renkotsu did a while ago. The lass has turned again over the futon, now her belly was almost up, one knee has contracted, making the chemise fall, uncovering the milky thigh.
Shameless, even in her sleep. The revived young lad mocked in his thoughts, then those cobalt pools' attention was caught by a light-green spark over her womb. Ailyn's hand was resting upon her belly and adorning the little finger there was a golden ring with a precious gemstone glowing preciously.
Intrigued, Bankotsu just slid the door for once and entered the room illuminated only by two candles. Careless, he walked around the sleeping foreigner and sat in front of her, approaching one hand to the jewel which gleam reflected into his ambitious gaze.
Sky-blue eyes opened wide and Ailyn sat fastly, in alert. The only thing she worried to cover was the ring, protecting it with her other hand. Her legs remained bare and spread over the sheets, the gown's sleeves kept fallen so her shoulders were exposed, just as the perfect contours of her breasts under the candlelight. The mercenary's gaze wandered on her shapes, up and down, dark blue gems shining in the dark like daggers ready to pierce every trace of unscarred skin. He didn't even need to say a word for Ailyn to unveil his intentions.
"What are you doing in my room?" The Red Rose hissed. His eyes, till then locked on her rounded mounds at last lifted and staring at her complexion they grew widened.
"A Shikon's shard... Were you dead too?"
Her body stiffened, finally Lynnie remembered the ribbon wasn't covering her forehead anymore.
"No, I am pretty much alive, unlike you". She disdained.
"Was Naraku who gave it to you then?" Bankotsu leaned so he could be closer still to study the foreigner in more details.
"It does not concerns to you." One more hiss sounded behind her teeth "Get out!"
"And this ring?" His voice, his features, all denounced an almost childish curiosity, Ailyn's hostility has been simply ignored, nothing seemed to ruin his mood, instead Bankotsu just grabbed her hand and pulled it near so he could examine the small jewel's details. "It looks expensive..."
She slapped his fist and pulled back her hand, keeping it close to her chest. Some green mist began to form around them, and suddenly the temperature inside the room grew cold abruptly.
"What are you, if not a yokai?" One black, thick eyebrow arched.
"Why do you not let me sleep?" The supernatural fog became denser.
"You're a witch then?" The man insisted, staring at her with certain interest.
"Yes, a very dangerous one. I could inflict you a curse right here and now, so..." She sounded threatening, yet Bankotsu didn't show any trace of fear, he even giggled.
"I'm just asking some questions, woman!" The mercenary put his hands up while smiling, it was a signal of truce. "If we're working together, I have to know more about you".
"You know enough." The lass looked at him in a distinct way, rage was not the only emotion behind her features, there was a shadow in her eyes making she looks melancholic.
" A girl who doesn't care seeing corpses ahead of her, who isn't ashamed of being close to a naked man..." He suddenly held a lock of golden hair between his fingers, unintentionally roughly though. "And with such hair color?"
"So what?!" Ailyn got rid of his touch and arranged the couple of golden strands he accidentally has pulled. "You do not care to see dead bodies too, neither you feel ashamed of being naked in front of anyone. Do I have to get impressed with those same situations just because I am a woman?"
Those bloodthirsty eyes of his expanded and blinked, possessed by an unusual glow, then an admiring smile colored his face and Bankotsu rested his chin over his hand.
"What are you looking at? What did you expect of getting at this hour?" Ailyn went on spilling her thorns, never running from his disheveled gaze. Again, the lass couldn't help but compare him with a naive child, almost innocent. How could a man who used to kill indiscriminately look so boyish?
"Well..." Bankotsu stretched his arms and got up in an impulse. "We have much job to do from now on and I want to make the most of my second chance of living".
"Crazy corpse!" She complained while contemplating the smiling man already reaching his way out.
"See you tomorrow" He said, blinking an eye at her, then taking his leave.
Ailyn threw herself on the futon and took a deep breath, her eyes were staring at the ceiling. What an inconvenient little fellow! She felt her cheeks getting warm, and was sure it happened in consequence of her anger.
To be continued...

As you can see, I have adapted some part of the cannon series accordingly with my ideas, hope you like it. I know the image of seven naked fellows wandering around must sound funny (at least for me LOL), but I think it has more sense than they simply come back from the death with their previous clothes. :')
For those who are missing Annabelle, you'll see more of her in the next chapter. What are you thinking about Ailyn interacting with the Band of Seven? I had very much fun writing these scenes back then. :D
See ya, kissuuus!
