Sesshoumaru was on a mission and nothing would stop him. The guards that were not killed ran from the powerful demon Lord as with his youkai alone he broke through the front gates destroying anyone in his path. The daughter of the Lord of the East rushed out begging Sesshoumaru for mercy. He beheaded her without a word going straight for the fat Lord who dared to attack his lands.

As servants ran for their lives Sesshoumaru finally grabbed one demanding to know where their Lord was. When Sesshoumaru found the main wife of the Lord she threatened to burn down the palace with a lantern filled with oil and a torch from the wall. Sesshoumaru simply used his acid whip lopping off her arms as the oil and torch fell in opposite directions, then he threatened to gut her if she did not tell him where the Lord of the East was residing. She begged him for mercy, but as far as Sesshoumaru was concerned no mercy was shown to his people so he would show none to these demons.

The female finally told Sesshoumaru what he wanted to know and thus he beheaded her swiftly quickening her death then melted her head with his acid as he had done with her daughter.

When Sesshoumaru found his prey he was shocked to find the Lord of the East drinking tea in the courtyard with not a care in the world. The man had a wicked look to his eyes when he regarded Sesshoumaru. Clearly the man must be insane or overly proud to simply be basking in the sunlight while his own home was under attack.

“Why hello Sesshoumaru. Sit down my boy, we have much to discuss.”

The Lord stated as he sipped his tea and leaned back in his chair.

“We have nothing to discuss.”

Sesshoumaru simply stated as he readied his whip to take this man’s head.

“Oh but we do. I propose you surrender to me, after all if you do not we will fight and I will have to kill you my dear Inu.”

The Lord of the East said with a smile.

“Die.”

Sesshoumaru said lopping off the Lord of the East’s head with bakusaiga in order for the Lord never to regenerate again. Suddenly the body and head disappeared leaving behind a demon puppet. Sesshoumaru then heard a voice.

“Oh, you didn’t think I was that easy to kill did you boy?”

Sesshoumaru looked around for the voice irritated he was played. He would kill the Lord of the East it was simply a matter of finding him.

Sesshoumaru went through the palace looking for the Lord of the East as that voice taunted him until he saw something slithering just outside of the palace doors. Sesshoumaru grasped his sword and quicker than a blink shoved his sword into the tail of the thing that was slithering outside. A shrill shriek was heard and Sesshoumaru came out to discover the Lord of the East had turned into his truest form, a giant cobra.

The snake struck at Sesshoumaru as Sesshoumaru bounced around it avoiding its rather clumsy strikes. The snake was so fat it could hardly move.

Pulling his sword out of its tail, Sesshoumaru cut at the snake only for the snake to laugh when some of its blood flipped onto Sesshoumaru’s beautiful armor.

“My blood is toxic boy even to Inus such as you! If you kill me, you die too!”

The Lord of the East chuckled.

“You don’t know my son!”

A voice bellowed as Father came to assist with this battle. The West was his lands also and he would be damned if some fat snake was going to try to kill his son.

The Lord of the East was shocked. He did not know that the Inu No Tashio still lived.

Sesshoumaru frowned at his now ruined armor as it sizzled and burned from the blood on it.

“You will pay for that.”

Sesshoumaru said angrily. He loved his armor and this would be an expensive repair since that blood was eating away at his breastplate.

“Sesshoumaru pin him down with bakusaiga!”

Father commanded and Sesshoumaru nodded. The two Inu diayoukis used their potent poison attacks against their foe and bounced around on the snake striking at its vulnerable underbelly while trying to avoid the blood that oozed out of the snakes wounds.

The snake decided his final strike would take out at least some of the castle where most of his gold was kept, however with a mighty kick to his head by both Inus the snake fell in the opposite direction with Sesshoumaru pinning the snake to the ground by the back of his throat leaving the snake head down as Sesshoumaru used his poison flower claw move to melt the head of the beast until it no longer moved.

Sesshoumaru wiped off bakusaiga’s blade on the ground checking it for any damage. Luckily the sword seemed fine and as sharp as ever. Other then the half melted snake that was an eyesore on the ground, everything seemed to be peaceful. The servants came out bowing to their new Lords and thanking them for their mercy.

Going back into the castle the two Lords were surprised when they found a room full of beautiful chained females. The females shook in fear for their lives huddling into a corner dressed in sheer harem clothing. The haunted looks in their eyes told Touga their story. These concubines were just village girls taken from their families to be raped by that fat Lord. They were all so young and to Sesshoumaru’s eyes one of the girls was the same age as Rin had been when he first met her. The girl was much too young for such adult things as what that bastard he had killed had most likely done to her.

Father ordered for the keys to be brought up to unchain these young women. The girls were still afraid, but Touga talked gently to them offering to have them taken back to their homes. Many of the girls were afraid to go back to their homes in fear that they were now shamed. Touga told them not to fear since he would talk to their families and Lords. They would not suffer for something that was beyond their own doing.

The girls cried in happiness and the youngest ran up to Touga hugging him. Touga picked up the young girl and took her as well as the others out of that place.

Sesshoumaru asked Father if he did not want to take some of the girls for himself, but Father said he was not a dirty old man and these girls were but children to him. Two of the young women did look at Sesshoumaru with longing in their eyes, but Sesshoumaru ignored it as his Father chuckled. Sesshoumaru always did have an entourage of young women that fell in love with him even when he was cold as ice.

Father asked Sesshoumaru if he was going to keep the servants of the Eastern Castle however since he did have an eye on some of the pretty maids. At that Sesshoumaru did have a good idea for some of the young women. He would give Father the maids as his concubines and if the villages wanted to their lovely daughters could become maids in the former maid’s place.

Of course Father said he did not need concubines, but he would gladly take the pretty females off of Sesshoumaru’s hands for a time. Sesshoumaru agreed and ordered the prettiest of the maids to go with his Father. The others were to remain to clean and prepare the castle for their new Lords. The male servants were to remove the bodies of the deceased other then the Eastern Lord. Sesshoumaru wanted the blood of that Lord to use as a weapon for later battles as he frowned at his ruined armor.

Seeing Sesshoumaru was disturbed by his armor being ruined one of the servants told Sesshoumaru to come with him. Sesshoumaru followed the servant to the armory where a magnificent set of armor was resting on a rack. It was a brilliant mirror like silver with rows of spikes on each pauldrin. The cuirass was made of black dragon scale like his own, but it had a rainbow like sheen to it. The breastplate had spikes like his own, but they were spikes of adamant. Some of the spikes on the pauldrins were also made of adamant and were sharper then metal. The tassels were red like his own except with a ring of pure gold just above each knot. Father’s armor was similar to this, but nowhere near as fine.

“Will this do my Lord? We have three different sets of armor with a similar pattern, but this one is the finest of the three with the largest diamonds. Also we have rubies that were to be added to this armor. If you still wish for them to be added we may do so for you.”

The servant said bowing to his Lord.

Sesshoumaru could see the places where the rubies would be added and wondered really how much wealth was taken from these people for things such as this. He wanted the armor no doubt with the rubies added. However he would change things for these people and pray his new armor would not be damaged.

Ordering to have the rubies added Sesshoumaru took off his old armor and told the servant to have it repaired. Sesshoumaru really did like his old armor and if nothing else he wanted to keep it for nostalgia sake.

“Show me this other armor.”

Sesshoumaru demanded. The servant brought him to the other rack where a set of armor with emeralds and diamonds sat although the diamonds were not as big as the ones on the first set, they were still very impressive. The third set had aquamarine stones with diamonds similar to the second set. They were beautiful and the third set had white dragon scale with the rainbow like effect to it. Sesshoumaru almost liked the third set better than the first. Sesshoumaru had the third set of armor placed upon his person and it was adjusted to his slimmer size although he had nice broad shoulders making the armor even more impressive.

Father came in to see what Sesshoumaru was doing and was surprised to see his son wearing something so very costly. It suited Sesshoumaru, but Father wondered how much blood and tears of the good people of the East went into creating this impressive armor.

“Father you take this set of armor since you helped defeat our foe.”

Sesshoumaru said handing his Father the armor with the emeralds in it.

“Son, I don’t know if I should take this.”

Father said.

Sesshoumaru looked at his Father seriously. The man was thinking the same thing he was, but fact was the rest of the wealth they found was going back into the lands, the people, and to build roads for them to bring in more wealth.

“Father it is yours. You deserve this if not better. The armor before this is not finished or I would give that to you. The armor I am wearing is going to Inuyasha and someday after the roads are built, taxes are collected, and our wealth grows I will have a fine set made for Pearl. I am still keeping my old armor, it is just being repaired.”

Sesshoumaru explained.

“You are going to place the wealth back into these lands son?”

Father asked.

“Of course I am going to do so, for both the East and the West. I wish to expand the wealth of the East to the West. The West will always be my home, my lands, and these lands of the East will belong to Inuyasha. Eventually he will want his own lands so this is my gift to him as I promised Father. Inuyasha gave me my most precious sons, he bore my heir. He has given me the world and in return I shall give him the same.”

Sesshoumaru said being quite sincere in his words.

“I am proud of you son and I will take this armor with me to wear it for formal events.”

Father said with a smile.

Sesshoumaru had what was left of the Eastern guard take messages to the local villages about their daughters and the treatment of their daughters when they returned home. If the young women chose to remain at the Eastern castle then Sesshoumaru would have them trained as Ladies maids for Pearl.

Father took the maids that Sesshoumaru chose for him with him back to the Imperial Palace. Father let his charm guide him as he flirted and teased the pretty women to his side. Sesshoumaru thought Father was being ridiculous flirting with maids when he could just take them as was his right, but Sesshoumaru just shook his head and went back to the castle to start his plans for the new reign of the East and West.
