A/N: Sorry it took so long to update. Just
wanted to say something before I started. Someone gave me the idea to
use heel as a command for Yusuke, but I can�t find
who. So If I didn�t mention you I am sorry, but I
can�t find it in my reviews. Maybe I�m going blind or
something. Well enjoy everyone.

Chapter 6

A week and a half have passed since Kagome and Yusuke had
met. During that time they had built what you may call
a very loud and explosive friendship. These two, it seemed, could not last an
entire day without fireworks exploding. They had to at least
get into one fight per day. If they didn�t blow steam off with each
other, then the next day they would be grumpy until one or both of them would
start an argument of some kind. They had also started pulling pranks on each
other. Hiei, enjoying the fact that someone could get the better of the
detective, would give aid to Kagome. The score is now, Yusuke 15, Kagome 21. It
was now Wednesday and Yusuke hadn�t been to school all week so far.

Usually, this wouldn�t be cause for concern, since he
usually didn�t attend school while in training with Genkai. But this time
around, he was unable to avoid school. Because of those damn subjugation beads,
and the fact that Kagome could use more than one command on him, she made him
go to school. She just said �school�, and Yusuke had no choice but to actually
go. Now once he got there, it didn�t mean that he had to stay, but once Keiko
saw him, she would make it impossible for him to ditch school altogether. So,
with both Kagome and Keiko against him, he was stuck going. When Keiko wasn�t able to catch him he would just cut classes and sit
upon the roof. Thank Kami no one had bothered to inform Kagome that even though
Yusuke would go to school, he wouldn�t attend the classes, otherwise she�d find
a way to make him, not only attend school, but the classes as well.

The reason for Yusuke not attending school this whole week
was because of a prank Kagome pulled on him. Which is why she allowed him to
get away with not going. After a particular prank from Yusuke, Kagome was out
for revenge. She went out to the pharmacy and picked random colors.
Fortunately, for Yusuke, Kagome got hair dye that washes out in about a week or
two. However, he didn�t see it that way. Kagome asked Hiei for his help in
hurrying up and dying Yusuke�s hair without getting caught. After seeing the
different colors, Hiei smirked. He was not about to miss this.

So, Sunday morning, Kagome and Hiei struck. Yusuke still had
no idea that Hiei was involved in the pranks with Kagome. Yusuke was dead to
the world at 2:00 am in the morning.
Kagome snuck in and practiced a spell she had just learned. Genkai had found a
collection of spell books for Mikos in her private library. After she had
learned of this, she told Kagome. Kagome fell in love with those books. She
even tried many of those spells on Yusuke, much to the detective�s
disgruntlement. The spell she was to try on the detective on that day was to be
a simple sleeping spell. True he was already asleep and dead to the world, but
she wasn�t about to take any chances.

Once Kagome was in the room, she started the chant for the
spell. Once she completed the spell, she went and called Hiei to come in.
�Hiei, do you think it worked?� Kagome asked the fire/ice demon.

Hiei gave Yusuke a particular hard kick in the ribs. �Hn. It
would appear so.� He replied when the detective gave no indication that he had
even felt it.

�Goody, let the fun begin.� Kagome said rubbing her hands
together in excitement.

Hiei just smirked evilly. He really was going to enjoy this.
He even brought his trustworthy camera.

Kagome got the dye ready and separated Yusuke�s hair into
five even sections. She put a hair clip on each section to keep it separated.
Hiei, thinking it was funny quickly snapped two pictures of this. She started
first with the middle section. The color was hot pink. Once that was done, she
clipped it and did the next section to the right. This color was a violet purple
color, then a bright blue. On the other side towards the left, she colored
first a yellow, then on the bottom section, she dyed an orange color. So, in
order from left to right the colors were orange, yellow, hot pink, violet
purple, and bright blue. She then got the Q-tips and decided that he needed the
eyebrows to match. The left eyebrow was orange, yellow, and pink. The colors
going from outside to the inside. The right eyebrow was, from inside to out,
pink, violet, and bright blue. It matched perfectly with his hair. They kept
the dye in for the appropriate length of time then quickly rinsed it out.
Kagome quickly blow-dried his hair.

When she was finally finished, it was to see a multicolored
Yusuke snoring loudly. Hiei snapped a total of seven pictures. He figured that
this once he�d be generous and share. Kagome held out her hand and Hiei handed
her over one of the pictures.

�I don�t think I�ve ever seen him look so good before.� Hiei
smirked.

�Yeah, I�d say it�s an improvement.� Kagome said, trying to
hold back her laughter. �Thanks Hiei.� She then performed a spell making it
impossible to dye his hair back. The colors had to come off on its own. Which
it would since it wasn�t permanent dye.

They then left the room and went to their respective
sleeping places. Kagome, before going to bed, quickly taped the picture behind
her door, where it would not be viewed unless someone closed the door to the
room, while still in it. She had quite a collection on her door already. Kagome
had a total of about twenty-one pictures, counting the one she just finished
taping onto her door. You could call her door her mini shrine of pranks pulled
on Yusuke.

When Yusuke finally woke up it was with much grumbling about
old hags and not enough sleep. Kagome heard him wake and just sat in bed
waiting for the explosion. She heard him enter the bathroom to shower and dress
and still nothing. Thinking she had a reprieve, she quickly showered and
dressed, not wanting to miss Yusuke�s reaction to her masterpiece. When she
finally got out of her shower, Yusuke still hadn�t noticed anything different.
Yusuke was still grumbling and was now staggering into the kitchen to get
something to eat before training.

�Good morning Yusuke.� Yukina said politely. �You look quite
colorful today.� She was trying very hard not to laugh. It was obvious that he
didn�t have a clue that Kagome struck again.

�Morning slacker, it�s about time you woke up.� Genkai said.
�Well I like what you did with yourself. Makes you look much better, it does.
Morning Kagome.� She finished as Kagome came into the room. Like Yukina, she
was trying very hard not to laugh. She wanted to see how long till Yusuke
figured out what was different about himself.

�Morning Genkai, Yukina, Hiei.� Kagome said politely, while
cringing. She could have sworn that he didn�t look that color last night.

�Hn.� Was all Hiei would say, while smirking evilly.

�What are you talking about you Old Hag.� Yusuke grumbled.

�Yusuke� Kagome began sweetly. �Heel. How many times do I
have to tell you that Grandma is not an Old Hag.� Yusuke promptly heeled like a
dog.

�Hey what is this for, you didn�t have to heel me you know!�
He shouted.

Kagome ignored him and started serving herself breakfast.
�Yukina this is so good, thank-you.�

�Detective, I must say you look better. That new look you
have is an improvement.� Hiei smirked.

�What is it with how I look. I look just the same as
yesterday!� Yusuke yelled furiously.

�Quiet.� Yusuke�s voice quickly went off. �Thank goodness,
you were giving me a headache with all of that yelling.� Kagome told him.

�Do you think we ought to hand him a mirror?� Genkai asked.

�Hn. Let him find himself one.� Hiei said.

�So how angry do you think he�ll be this time?� Kagome asked
in a bored tone.

�Well I�m not sure, but this is the worse you�ve pulled on
him yet.� Yukina added. �I must ask, is it permanent?�

Kagome smiled evilly, then sighed. �No, though I really was
tempted. Really, really tempted. It�ll wash out in about a week or two. Though
he can�t change it back, I made sure of that.�

Yusuke, listening to all of this was starting to get scared.
What did that wench do to me now. What
does she mean wash off in a week or two. WHAT DID THAT CRAZY CHICK DO TO
ME!!!!!!!!!!!

As soon as the heel spell wore off, he quickly ran to
restroom and looked into the mirror there. By the time he looked into the
mirror his voice had come back. �KAGOOOOOMMEEEEE YOU ARE SO DEAD!� he yelled in
a furious voice.

�Uh Oh, Gotta go, Mom�s expecting me.�
Kagome said quickly while rushing out of the house. She thought it prudent to
let him cool off first before she found out if he was capable of actually doing
her bodily harm. Though she usually was able to beat him no problem, he was
improving.

To say the least, Kagome won that round. Yusuke was furious.
When he found out that Kagome wasn�t there, he grabbed a cap and quickly went
to the pharmacy to buy black hair dye. He didn�t want to wait. Unfortunately it
wouldn�t work. When he went to Kagome for explanations, Kagome calmly informed
him that she had cast a spell that wouldn�t allow it. Not to worry though it
wasn�t permanent, but wouldn�t come off for at least a week, maybe two. She
even let him off the hook when it came to school. He didn�t have to attend till
the dye washed completely off, much to Yusuke�s relief. Which was why his
friend Kuwabara was now getting worried. Yusuke hadn�t been to school. Even
though this was usual for Yusuke, he had been attending more often.

Today was a usual day for Kagome. At least it was at school. She would get hate
mail from the fan girls. Love mail from the fan boys. Hang out all day with
Suichi, or at least as much as possible. She and Suichi were now in art class. It
was a free period today, and the students were allowed to draw anything they
wanted. Kagome of course drew Youko, but this time she actually drew him as a
male.

*Hiei, what does this Kitsune usually wear. I would really
like to draw him in his customary clothes this time. It�s not much fun drawing
him as a female when I can�t even see his reaction to my drawings.* Kagome
asked.

Hiei frowned at this. He was building up quite a collection
on Youko and was more than prepared to use them against him. However, he was
still in a good mood from the prank he and Kagome had pulled on the detective.
He just shrugged and sent Kagome a picture of Youko in his customary white
outfit.

Kagome almost gasped. He looked so, so beautiful, masculine,
handsome, so good that she couldn�t even describe in words. She started drawing
him and completely lost herself in the drawing.

*I wonder what she�s drawing me in today?* Youko said,
dreading to see himself dressed as a female again.

Suichi looked over at Kagome and saw her drawing Youko. *I
wonder why she never tires of drawing you. I would think she would have found
or at least thought up of another subject.*

Suichi then turned his attention to his own drawing. He was
drawing a garden full of multicolored flowers. With butterflies flying around.
If the flowers didn�t catch your attention then the butterflies would. The
drawing had a feeling of magic in the air, mystical, supernatural, something
out of this realm.

*Hiei? What can you tell me about this fox, you are so
determined that I continually draw him in embarrassing clothing?* Kagome asked
Hiei curiously.

Hiei gave this request some thought. In truth, the fox is
one of the very few that he felt he even considered a friend. *His name is
Youko Kurama. He is a good fighter. One worthy of respect, and also very
intelligent.* He finally answered.

Kagome sighed. *If he deserves such respect why do you keep
having me draw him the way I do?* she answered a bit confused.

*Because he�s annoying.* He answered simply.

Kagome burst out laughing from that simple statement. It was
short and to the point. Unfortunately, since the class had been so quiet, she
had gained the attention of the entire classroom.

�Umn. Sorry, inside joke.� Kagome said sheepishly.

Suichi, curious about what could have made her laugh out
loud like that, decided to ask Kagome what was going on in that beautiful mind
of hers. �So Kagome, would you care to share the little joke with me.� He said
suggestively.

Kagome made it look as if she was giving it some serious
thought then answered, �No not really.� Which threw Suichi off a bit.

*What why doesn�t she want to tell us anything Kurama.*
Youko whined.

*It�s not as if we can just force her to tell us all of her
secrets.* Kurama stated patiently.

*And why not! She is �our� future mate after all. There Should
Be No Secrets!* Youko finished.

*Well if we push her too hard, she might not want anything
to do with us. Remember, she knows nothing of Youkai. She doesn�t even know
about �you� Youko. We must take it slowly.*

*OH very well.* Youko whined as he slowly slunk back .

Meanwhile, Kagome was starting to get frustrated. For some
strange reason she felt a connection to this fox, and couldn�t figure out why.
She wanted to know more, and Hiei was not making it any easier on her. *What I
meant was, what do you think of him personally. You know, friend, foe, ally,
annoying, other, what?*

Hiei paused, thinking on how he would answer this question.
Finally, he gave a simple explanation. *He has been all of those.* He then
sighed, preparing to explain further. *When we first met, we were allies of a
sort, he then betrayed me and I considered him my enemy. Later we became allies
once again, through circumstances not of our making. The fox is one of the few
I consider a friend, one of the few I trust, maybe the first to have my trust
or friendship.* he finally finished.

*If you consider him a friend, then why to you keep having
me draw him in women�s clothing?* Kagome paused, trying to think of other
reasons as to why she kept drawing him that way. Suddenly inspiration struck. Of course, why didn�t I think of it before. *Let me guess, he�s a cross-dresser. Or is he
gay? I know, he wants to have one of �those� operations.* Kagome finished, kind
of disappointed over her thoughts. Cross-dresser, well she could deal. But gay,
that meant out of her league. Sex-change operation, well sorry, no matter how
sexy she was definitely not into her own gender.

*What do you mean by one of �those� operations?* Hiei asked
confused. He was just about to laugh at her assumptions when she mentioned
operation. Not knowing what operation she could be referring to, Hiei was
confused.

*You know sex-change. Hmm. How do I
explain. Well for a guy they start taking female hormones to develop some type
of chest. They then cut off the guys �you-know-what� and replace it with a
woman�s private. If the guy does develop some chest from the hormones, then
they sometimes leave it alone or they get plastic surgery to get a bigger or
better one. So in fact they get a female�s body.* She explained matter-of-factly.

*Uh Kagome, when you said they cut off a guy�s
�you-know-what� did you mean, I mean is it, well umn.* Hiei broke off
embarrassed and dreading the answer.

*Yeah, they cut off the family jewels, get rid of the whole
package.* Kagome finished in a dead pan voice causing Hiei to wince in
imaginary pain.

Then everything she said about Kurama finally sank in and
Hiei quickly put his hands over his mouth to keep from laughing out loud. It
was too hilarious for words. He then got an idea, when Kurama found out, he�d
kill him. But it would be well worth it just to see the look on his face when
he found out that the girl he likes and wants to make his mate, thinks he wants
a sex-change. *He wants one of �those� operations. The drawings are to show him
what he�d look as a female. He is seriously contemplating it.* Youko is so going to try to kill me. But
just to see his face it�d be soooooo worth it. Hiei thought to himself
while inwardly chuckling evilly.

Kagome started pouting, she really did think the fox was
handsome. But she was definitely not into girls. Kagome slowly came back from
her thoughts to see her drawing. It was finally finished.

�Suichi, I�m done. What about you?� Kagome asked suddenly.

Suichi had been looking at his drawing and finally concluded
that it was finished. �It would seem I am done as well. Would you like to
trade.� He asked. He was really curious and eager to see what Youko would be
wearing this time.

�Sure here you go.� Kagome said and she handed her drawing
to Suichi, and Suichi handed his to her.

�Wow Suichi, this is good.� Kagome exclaimed mesmerized by
his drawing. It was truly magical.

Kurama, however was in shock. She had actually drawn Youko
in male clothing. But what was even more shocking was that he was wearing his
customary clothes. How would she know how Youko was usually dressed?

Youko, on the other hand, was trying hard not to look. He
was really dreading to see what she had come up with. *Tell me Red. How bad is
it?* He asked dreadfully.

*I must say Youko, that I believe �our� Kagome must be
losing her touch.* Kurama replied dryly. To be honest, he was disappointed that
she hadn�t drawn Youko as she normally did. He had found her other drawings
hilarious, and he personally felt that Youko should be brought down a peg or
two. But this drawing had him stumped. instead of drawing Youko in some
embarrassing clothes, she drew him in his customary clothing.

Youko, feeling insulted that Kurama would say such a thing
about �their� Kagome, opened his eyes and looked. He was quite literally
shocked. �Kurama? Are you seeing what I am seeing?*

Wanting to have some fun on his counterpart Kurama decided
to tease him a bit. *I�m not sure Youko, what are you seeing?*

Still shocked Youko only replied, *Me*.

*Youko, doesn�t she usually draw you?* Kurama faked
confusion in his voice.

*That�s not what I meant Red and you know it. She actually
drew me, in my original clothing. As a full blooded male, not female.* He bit
out still somewhat in shock.

*What do you want her to draw you as a female?* Kurama
asked, pretending to be a bit dense.

*Stop acting dense, it doesn�t become you. You know exactly
what I mean Red. So what do you think it means.*

*In truth, I don�t know?* Kurama finally answered Youko.

Meanwhile Kagome was entranced by Suichi�s drawing. �Suichi
this is so beautiful.�

�Thank you, I must ask though, why the change in the
drawing. Don�t you usually draw him in female clothing?� Suichi asked confused.

�You don�t like it?� Kagome asked pouting. In truth, she
liked this picture much more than the other ones.

�It�s not that I don�t like it. I think you did a beautiful
job on this drawing, but I am used to see you drawing him in female clothes.
Why not this time?� Suichi was trying to get answer from Kagome.

�Oh that, well I, you see, it�s just.� Kagome paused and
took a deep breathe. �I�m just tired of drawing him as a female. I wanted to
see what he�d look like in male clothing. I must say he looks much better as a
�Male� than a �Female�.� Kagome answered while stressing the words male and
female.

*Is it just me Red or did she stress �male� and �female�.*
Youko asked confused.

*It�s not just you Youko, she did stress those words. I
wonder why?* Kurama answered.

�Hello earth to Suichi.� Kagome said snapping her fingers in
front of Suichi�s face, trying to get his attention.

Suichi quickly came to and noticed his surroundings. �Yes
Kagome.�

�Oh nothing, I just thought you�d like to know that the bell
rang, and unless you want to be late for class, you�d better get going.� Kagome
quickly informed him, before she started walking quickly to class.

Before Suichi knew what happened, he was alone in the
classroom. Kagome had quickly taken off, leaving him behind. Oh well, I will see you at lunch.

The rest of the day passed by normally. Kagome, getting hate
mail from fangirls and love mail from her fanboys. Suichi and Kagome spending
as much time together as possible throughout the day, while still throwing food
up into the tree during lunch to feed Hiei. A smirking Hiei playing target
practice with the poison called �food�. His aim really was improving more. It
was getting more and more hilarious. He had stopped throwing the food to the
back of people�s head. Instead he started working on getting them full on the
face, hoping they�d choke on what they called �food�.

Finally school ended and Kagome was in the process of trying
to come up with an excuse with why Suichi couldn�t walk her home today. All of
a sudden she sees Suichi wave at someone.

�Excuse me Kagome, I will be right back.� Suichi said as he
waved to Kuwabara. Kuwabara had come to Suichi�s school to see if he knew
anything about Urameshi. As soon as Suichi saw Kuwabara, he waved to him
telling him to wait where he was, then went over to see what was wrong.

�Hello Kuwabara.� He said.

�Kurama, have you heard anything about Urameshi? He hasn�t
been to school all week.� Kuwabara asked.

This confused Kurama. �Doesn�t Yusuke usually skip school,
especially when he is training with Genkai?�

�Yeah he usually does, but he has been coming to school
every day for a while now. Which was weird, but now he just stopped. Maybe
something happened to him. Wanna go with me to Genkai�s and find out what�s
going on?� Kuwabara finally finished.

*Well it seems that he does own a few brain cells.* Youko
said dryly. While Kurama just ignored him.

�That sounds like a good idea. I will just make my excuses
to Kagome, then we�ll leave.� Kurama said as he walked over to Kagome with
Kuwabara in tow.

�I am sorry Kagome, it seems I will not be able to accompany
you home today after all.� Suichi said politely.

Kagome grinned. �That�s okay.� She said cheeringly. �Hey
who�s he?� she asked pointing to Kuwabara.

�My name is Kazuma Kuwabara, but you may call me Kuwabara,
and it is good to meet you.� He answered kindly. For once not trying to impress
a girl or acting like his normal cheerful self. He was that worried over
Yusuke.

�Well my name�s Kagome, it is a pleasure to meet you.�
Kagome said towards Kuwabara. Then to Suichi, �I�ll see you later Suichi.� And
promptly headed home.

Kurama and Kuwabara headed towards Genkai, and were a little
puzzled as they noticed that Kagome took off in the same direction. After about
a block of Kagome walking and Kurama and Kuwabara following, Kagome turned
around and confronted them.

�Is something wrong, can I help you, or do you just plan on
following me home?� Kagome asked angrily.

Kuwabara just looked confused. As far as he knew they weren�t following her, they were headed to Genkai�s. Kurama
also looked a bit confused, but just figured that Kagome probably lived along
the way towards Genkai�s.

�It appears we are traveling in the same direction Kagome.
Why don�t we just walk together until we reach our destination?� Kurama asked
in a practical manner.

Kagome gave it some thought, and seeing as how she couldn�t
see a downside to it all agreed. �Okay, but you better not just be following me home.� And gave Suichi and Kuwabara an �or
else� look. It sent shivers down both their spines.

*Yikes, scary. What did you do to earn �that� look.* Youko
asked in a frightened voice.

*I�m not sure Youko?* Kurama replied, also using a
frightened voice when speaking with Youko.

*Well whatever it was, DON�T DO IT AGAIN!!
It is not good to piss of �our� future mate.* Youko told Kurama.

*I will do my best Youko. Don�t
forget, I want her just as much or �more� than you do.* He replied.

*Hn. Whatever Red. Just remember, You Are Me.*

*Don�t remind me.*
Kurama groaned. Which was technically true. Seeing as how their souls were
slowly merging, and soon they would completely become one.

As they were getting closer and closer towards Genkai�s,
Kagome was starting to wonder if maybe the boys really were following her to
see where she lived. While Kurama and Kuwabara were both wondering where Kagome
could possibly live seeing as how they were passing less and less houses in
which could have been Kagome�s.

�Are you sure you two aren�t following me?� Kagome asked
crossly as they were almost upon Genkai�s property.

Kurama sighed. �Sorry Kagome, but the person I am coming to
visit lives near here.� That answer seemed to satisfy Kagome for the moment.

Once they reached Genkai�s Kagome swiftly started up the
stairs only to pause and turn around and face the boys. �Okay, this is where I
stop, Bye.� And proceeded to climb the shrine steps.

Kurama and Kuwabara were shocked a bit at first, then
quickly got over it as they started to follow Kagome up the stairs.

Kagome sensing them behind her quickly turned around and faced
them with her fists resting on her hips in an angry pose. �I thought you said
you weren�t following me here. So if that is the case, what are you doing
here?� She asked angrily.

�We are here to see Genkai.� Kurama said calmly, while
Kuwabara was hiding behind him.

�You know Grandma?� Kagome asked in surprise.

Now it was time for both of the boys to be surprised by this
information. �Grandma!� They both exclaimed.

�Yeah, Genkai, Grandma. Let me guess you�re here to train
along with the dimwit.� Kagome stated. Then turned around and continued her way
up the stairs, leaving two shocked boys at the bottom.

*How can this be, I don�t sense any family traits between
the two?* Youko asked confused.

*I don�t know Youko, but let us find out.* Kurama said calmly,
when in truth he was just as shocked as Youko.

�Come on Kuwabara, let�s go find Yusuke.� Kurama said as he
swiftly caught up with Kagome.

Once Kagome got up the steps, she opened the door to the
house and walked in, silently inviting both boys in. �GRANDMA I�M HOME AND I
HAVE COMPANY!!!� Kagome yelled, causing Suichi to
wince at the pain to his eardrums.

*She has good lungs.* Youko said approvingly. *Oh the many ways I can help her use them.* Kurama just
continued to ignore him.

�What took you so long!!!!� Yusuke
yelled as he came into the room. He hadn�t paid any attention to what Kagome
had yelled upon entering the house. In truth, after he recognized her voice, he
thought he would finally be able to get rid of his boredom. To his extreme shock Kurama and Kuwabara were standing right next to
Kagome. As soon as Kuwabara saw Yusuke he started
laughing like a hyena.

�SHUT UP!!� Yusuke yelled at
Kuwabara.

Kuwabara was relieved to see that his friend was alright. But to see Uremeshi looking like a rainbow, it was
just too funny for words. �MAKE ME!� He got out between puffs of laughter.

Yusuke getting fed up, quickly knocked Kuwabara unconscious.
�Yusuke Urameshi.� Kagome yelled. �That was uncalled for.�

�UNCALLED FOR? HE WOULDN�T STOP LAUGHING.� Yusuke
yelled at Kagome.

�HE WAS JUST RELIEVED TO SEE THAT YOU WERE OKAY, YOU
DIMWIT.� Kagome yelled back.

�YOU CALL THAT RELIEVED YOU�.� Yusuke was about to call her
a name when Kagome suddenly said his name sweetly.

�Yusuke.� Kagome said sweetly, breaking through Yusuke�s tirade
like nothing else could. Yusuke cringed, waiting for the bomb to drop. Seeing
Yusuke cringe, Kagome thought that he got the message and decided not to sit
him for once. �Never mind.�

Yusuke, seeing that he was off the hook, decided not to
antagonize her further. �So Kurama, what are you doing here?�

Kurama had been silently observing how Kagome and Yusuke
interacted. He could even feel the attraction between the two. But for some
reason he felt no jealousy, he felt no urge to do Yusuke no bodily harm. Which
was weird because anytime another male would go anywhere near Kagome, he had a
hard time restraining Youko.

�I came with Kuwabara, to see how you were. Kuwabara was
worried something had happened to you since you didn�t make it to school all
week. Now I see that he was right.� Kurama said indicating his hair. �By the
way, what happened Yusuke.�

Yusuke looked a bit sheepishly. �Hehehe, let�s just say
Kagome won that round.�

Kurama looked towards Kagome in shock. He never thought
she�d do something so mischievous, but all he saw on Kagome�s face was
confusion.

�Kagome is something wrong.� Suichi asked.

�Did Yusuke just call you Kurama?� Kagome asked.

�Yes. That is my nickname, of sorts.� Kurama replied,
without missing a beat.

*Don�t say anything!* Hiei said calmly, while inwardly he
was desperate. He should have sense earlier that the damn fox was coming.

*Why?* Kagome asked. Only to receive no answer.

�As in Youko Kurama.� Kagome asked, seeing shock quickly pass
Kurama�s face. That must be the flash of
silver I keep seeing in his aura at times.

�Youko Kurama?� Kurama asked, trying to play innocent.

�Yeah, as in the Kitsune I keep drawing in class. It is you isn�t it?� Kagome said accusingly. In truth she really,
really, really hoped it wasn�t him. She really liked
Suichi, and didn�t want him to turn himself into a girl.

*Youko how do we answer?* Kurama asked.

*Tell her the truth Red. Better get
it over with. If we lie to her now, she may never forgive us later.* Youko said
patiently.

�Yes, I am Youko Kurama.� Kurama said patiently, while
studying Kagome reaction.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! DROP DEAD GORGEOUS SUICHI IS GONNA
BECOME A GIRL. THIS IS SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!! Kagome
thought to herself. Then, seeing as how he was to soon become
a female, Kagome really wanted to see him in his other form. �Can you change
into Youko?�

�Yes I can, now, change into Youko at will.� Kurama said,
making it sound as if he had complete control over the transformation.

�Can you transform?� She really, really wanted to see Youko.

Silver mist started forming around Suichi, covering him
completely. When the mist finally cleared away, there stood the Legendary
Bandit Youko Kurama. Kagome gasped at the sight. She always had a weakness for
ears. They always got to her, so she did what any sane person who had a fetish
for those cute ears and tails would do. She ran up to Youko, and before Youko
could even react, she was rubbing his ears causing him to purr.

Youko, meanwhile was in bliss. His future mate was rubbing
his ears. He moved his head closer to Kagome so that she could get a better
handle of his ears. *Well Red it appears that she accepts us. She�s perfect,
can we keep her already?* Youko purred to Kurama, while sharing the feeling
Kagome was invoking within.

*Yes, it does appear that she accepts both of us. I can
hardly wait to make her ours.* Kurama agreed.

Yusuke on the other hand was in shock. Normally he would
fall into a jealous rage, which he had trouble controlling when Kagome was
around other men, besides Hiei. But for some reason, he just couldn�t summon up
the jealousy. It appears his inner beast didn�t mind Kurama being around
Kagome. Though this was not which had him shocked. The
reason he was so shocked was that �his� Kagome just up and started rubbing the
ears of the legendary bandit Kitsune. The cold hearted thief, which even made
Yusuke careful around him. The other shocking thing was that Youko seemed to be
enjoying himself. Yeah, Yusuke knew that the damn fox was mischievous, and
could be kinky, but he never thought that he would allow a human to be so
familiar with his body. Especially with his ears.

�Kagome, wanna be our mate?� Youko asked impulsively,
surprising everyone in the room, including Hiei. Hiei knew that the fox would
eventually ask Kagome, but he thought that the fox would choose a more romantic
setting.

*Youko you can�t just up and ask her to be our mate, just
like that. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!* Kurama asked his counterpart.

*I am thinking that I want �our� mate �now�!!* Youko calmly said.

�What! You can�t just ask her like that!� Yusuke yelled.

�Are you kidding?� Kagome yelled, as she let go of his ears.

Youko�s ears flattened against his head. *This is not the
reaction I was expecting,* he whined.

*Really? How did you expect her to react. No romance, no
flowers, no nothing. Youko where is your sense of romance, or did you forget
that she is human. And not just any human, a very special one at that.� Kurama
chided.

�What�s so bad about being my mate?� Youko whined pitifully.
Completely ignoring Yusuke�s outburst.

Kagome hesitated for a brief second while trying to find a
way to word her answer. �Well you are gorgeous, and to be honest, who wouldn�t
want to be your mate. But I refuse, I absolutely refuse to be MATED to a
FEMALE!� Kagome finally said.

�WHAT?!?! I AM NOT A FEMALE!!!� Youko all but shouted out. Causing Yusuke and Kuwabara
to burst out laughing, and earning a few chuckles from Hiei.

This is getting good.
Hiei thought to himself. He couldn�t wait to see the look on Youko�s face when
Kagome finally tells him about his upcoming operations. Hiei was still standing
in the shadows and had yet to reveal himself. Hopefully, no one would be able
to sense him and he may not get a few �downs� from Kagome.

*Why does she insist that I am a female. Do I look female.
Maybe she has me confused with you Red.* Youko whined, while inwardly crying.
The girl of his dreams didn�t want him because she thought of him as a female.

*Hey! I�ll have you know that I am not a female and Kagome
knows that very well. Besides, she didn�t refuse me, just you.* Kurama pointed
out, a bit miffed over that female comment.

�Well of course your not female right �now�. But you plan on
being.� Kagome said reasonably, making Youko confused at her reasoning.

*Do you have any idea what she is talking about?* Youko
asked Kurama confused.

Kurama thought about it and then finally an answer appeared
to him. No it couldn�t be. She couldn�t
be thinking of that. He thought, not wanting to tell Youko just yet. *Youko
ask her to explain.*

�I don�t understand, would you please explain.� Youko asked
reasonably.

�Yeah Kagome, what are you talking about?� Yusuke finally
stopped laughing and asked. If truth be told, he
wanted to know why Kagome thought of Youko as a female. He was sure the answer
was going to be hilarious. He couldn�t wait.

�Well aren�t you going to have a sex-change operation?�
Kagome asked confused.

A look of pure confusion came upon the Kitsune�s face.
*Kurama what is she talking about?*

Kurama was in shock, then the hilarity of the situation made
him want to burst out laughing. As it was he was
having a hard time controlling his laughter. *Well Youko it�s like this. A
sex-change operation is where a man can be turned into
a female, or a female into a male. The operation is permanent.*

*You, you, you mean that I wouldn�t have my
�you-know-what�?* Youko asked incredulously.

*That�s right, you would be
completely female. Except you wouldn�t be able to have babies.* Kurama calmly
informed him.

A look of pure horror and shock came upon the poor Kitsune�s
face. WHAT THE HELL!!!

�WHERE DID YOU GET THAT INSANE IDEA!!
ME!! BECOME A FEMALE!! YOU
HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!! I WOULD NEVER!!!� Youko finally yelled out. Causing Yusuke to laugh even
harder.

Kagome looked a bit sheepish. Does this mean he doesn�t want to become a female. �Well, um, Hiei
said that the reason I was to keep drawing you in female�s clothing was because
you wanted to know what you would look like as a woman. That you were planning
on having a sex change.�

�Dead. He. Is. So. Dead.� Youko said in a deadly voice,
causing Hiei to stiffen.

�You are NOT to KILL my brother Hiei.� Kagome said in a
threatening tone of voice.

�But he, he, come on, can I at least torture him?� Youko
whined. That hybrid will pay!!

�No.� Kagome answered simply. �Besides you have to admit,
you look good as a female.�

A sudden thought struck Youko. �The drawings that you did of
me, you gave them to Hiei, didn�t you.� He said accusingly.

�Well yeah. He was the one to request the drawing to be
done.� Kagome replied sweetly, while searching for Hiei�s aura. So there you are.

�Hiei you are not to show those drawings to ANYONE!� Youko
said threateningly, making Hiei wary. He knew something was about to happen,
and it wouldn�t be good.

�Hn.� He said, trying to bluff it out.

�Hiei, you have a fifteen second head start. Run.� Youko
said threateningly.

�You are NOT to KILL him� Kagome
reminded him.

�Don�t worry I won�t.� He said in an evil tone of voice.
Sending shivers down everyone�s spine. �Ten.�

Hiei was about to start running, when �Female.� Kagome
called out. Hiei then ended up with two pigtails with black ribbons tied in
bows. He was now wearing a one piece slinky black
dress with no sleeves, black sheer thigh highs and black stiletto shoes. Hiei
looked like one hot babe. He stumbled a bit after Kagome called out female.
Hiei looked down on himself cringing at what he saw.

�Nine.� Youko bit out. Still upset over the whole female sex
change thing. But he had to admit, Hiei did look good as a female.

Hiei was starting to look worried. He bent down trying to
take off the offending shoes. When he noticed that they would not come off, he
glared at Kagome. �And how do you expect me to run in these?� He asked.

�Sorry, but you will stay wearing all that till the spell
wears off. Besides, shouldn�t you be running by now.� Kagome asked.

�Eight.� Youko said.

Hiei glared at Kagome and run as fast as he could, while
wearing the offending shoes. He had yet to see himself in a mirror. Yusuke was
still laughing over everything that happened. To say the least he felt much
better about Kagome�s prank. At least nobody had ever mistaken him for a
female, or made him wear female clothing.

�Seven��..six��..five��four��.three.�
Youko speeded up his counting. He was getting impatient for a little revenge.

�Youko, you will not hurt him too badly will you?� Kagome
asked while giving him the puppy eyes.

Unable to deny her anything, Youko pouted. �Aw, are you
going to ruin my fun? Two.�

�He is like a brother to me please.� Kagome asked.

Youko continued to pout, but seeing as how Kagome wouldn�t budge he relented. �Fine, I won�t hurt him to
badly. One.� And quickly disappeared, leaving Kagome alone with a hysterical
Yusuke. To say the least it was a very long day.

Well that�s it for now. Sorry for taking so long to update.
The small mini vacation I took with my family last weekend really messed up my
writing schedule. It�s been hectic just trying to get back into the groove. A
notebook and pencil is fine and all that, BUT I NEED MY COMPUTER. I have no
patience in writing with just pen and paper. Hope you like this chapter. Any
and all comments are welcomed. Will try to update again before the week is out.
If not, then definitely by Monday. Will try for at least Thursday or Friday.
