“Kagome, I want you to be my mate.” She stood there stunned for a minute before she could get some words out.
”I… I can’t. I’m just… Not ready yet. I’m sorry Inuyasha.”
”It’s…” I can’t breath. He thought to himself before blacking out. He fell to the ground.
Inuyasha opened his eyes only to see blackness. Where am I? Why can’t I see anything. He opened his mouth to call out for Kagome, but no sound came out. Why can’t I speak? Where am I?! What am I doing? Who… Who am I? I can’t breath… Am I falling in to a dark oblivion? There’s nothing here, but me. Inuyasha… Is that who I am? It’s hard to think. My breath is growing short. I can feel myself slipping away. Guess that means this is.
”Inuyasha, please come back to me.”
Kagome… Kagome is that you? I feel so cold. Help me. Then he opened his eyes to see Kagome hovering over him. “Ka… Kagome?”
”Inuyasha. What happened to you? Are you okay?” She put out her hand and helped him to his feet.
”I just blacked out that’s all. It’s too hot in here.” Kagome walked over and turned on her fan.
”Your okay now?”
”Yes.” He walked over to the door. “Well, I’m going to go back to my time, it’s obvious that I don’t belong with y… Here. It’s obvious that I don’t belong here. Bye.” He opened the door and went to walk out, but she grabbed his hand.
”Hello?” She pointed to her dog ears. “It’s kind of obvious that I don’t belong here either. I’ll go with you.” He yanked his hand away.
”I just want to be alone… For a little. Okay?”
”Fine.” Then Inuyasha walked out. Why do I feel like I shouldn’t let him go? And why dose it feel like he’s walking out of my life for good? I just have this strange feeling. What’s going on? Maybe I should follow him. Then she started to follow him, but to make sure to stay out of range of scent.
”Sesshoumaru!” Yelled Inuyasha. “Sesshoumaru! Where are you?!” Kagome ran towards Inuyasha and tackled him to the ground, getting him in a compromising position.
”What in the hell are you doing?!” He leaned up and began kissing her. He rolled over on top of her and started to take off her cloths. She did the same.
The next morning, Kagome awoke to find herself embraced in Inuyasha’s arms in a tree. He had on all of his cloths, as did she.
”Hey you.” Inuyasha whispered softly in her ear. She jumped slightly.
”You startled me.”
”Sorry. I forgot about your sensitive dog ears.”
”It’s fine. Hey, why were you looking for Sesshoumaru?”
”Well, I don’t know. I guess I was just confused, so I wanted to fight him to take my mind off other things.”
”It’s about me not ready to be your mate isn’t it? Well, I’m ready now.”
”No, that has nothing… What?”
”I’m ready to be your mate.”
”Are you sure your ready? This is a big step… For the both of us.”
”I know and I’m totally ready. I want to be your mate. I love you so much, Inuyasha.”
”Oh Kagome, you don’t know how much this means to me. I love you too and I’ve wanted to be with you for so long. You’re my one true love. You’re the only one that I’ve really been able to trust. I’m really glad the you came into my life and you know what, I’m glad you broke the Shikon No Tama too. And I don’t even mind the Sit thing any more.
