Author's Note: 2 things I need to say. 1) its almost 1:15 AM so forgive me if it wasn't good. 2), I'm thinking of doing a fic of my character in Inuyasha but I'm not sure. It be M/M with my OC being Transgender(I'm trying to spread out my writing as much as I can meaning certain things in some situations) and I have no one for him to get with. But I want to hear what you guys have to say. If you have no interest in it than I won't post(Obs I wont until this one gets close to being done- whenever that is). Anyways, Enjoy!
A peaceful week followed the decision, which Inuyasha was greatful for. It allowed him and Shippo to have time to settle down some more. Of course, it wasn't that hard since Kouga insisted that they should stay in his den since they already know the ins and outs of it. Inuyasha had made no objections to it, especually since he had gotten use to the wolf's presence at night while they're asleep.
"Papa!" Shippo called over. The kit was in a clearing with his new friends, playing. Inuyasha was sitting not too far away, acting as a guard since Chuibukai had to go with a hunting party who was one hunter short.
"Yes, runt?" Inuyasha glanced around before letting his amber eyes settle on Shippo and the pups once again.
"They want to you to show them your sword." the kit gestured to the older pups that were Shippo's age and slightly order.
Inuyasha regarded those pleading eyes of the pups and he couldn't let out a groan. He grumbled. standing before motioned the pups to stay back. He had became too soft now and he didn't know if he liked it or not.
He gripped the hilt of the Tessaiga before he pulled it out, the blade transforming into it's true form. The pups stared in awe at the fang, their eyes wide. He couldn't help but smirk at the reaction as he rested Tessaiga on his shoulder. He won't lie, this felt good. Of course, that wouldn't last for long.
"Better be careful, half-breed. Wouldn't want you to hit any of the pups when you swing that thing."
Inuyasha glanced behind him and saw three wolves standing there, the obvious leader being in the middly and having scars all over his face. The second simply has orange eyes while the third had amber.
"Can I help you three?" Inuyasha frowned.
"Possibly." Scarface smirked, his fangs gleaming. Inuyasha tensed, shifting more in front of Shippo and the pups. He did not have any good feelings coming from these three and the looks in their eyes proved it.
"Shippo, get the pups out of here." Inuyasha mumbled to Shippo.
"But-"
"Now!" Inuyasha snapped and the wolves took this time to attack. Inuyasha quickly dodged their swipes of their claws, using his sword to block when he can. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Shippo ushering the pups away, most likely towards the den.
He kept dodging and blocking, trying to hold them off and to give whoever Shippo got time to come back. Usually he would fight back but at the same time, he didn't want to kill them; no matter how tempting it is.
"Come on, fight like a demon!" Snarled the one with the amber eyes.
Inuyasha snarled and just as he was going to do just that-
"Papa! I'm back! Kouga is on his way!" Shippo shouted as he ran into the clearing.
"Shippo, Stay back!"
The distraction caused Inuyasha as Tessaiga was knocked away from his hand and stuck into the ground, turning back into its frail state and he was knocked down on his back with the one with the orange eyes pinning him. Inuyasha thrashed, trying to get out of his hold and then, he heard a pained yowl, causing his head to snap to the side.
Scarface had Shippo by the tail tightly, obviously hurting the young kit. Inuyasha struggled and almost broke free when the second wolf came up and held him down along with the other.
He could see Scarface starting to dig his claws into Shippo's skin, causing the kit to whimper and whine in pain.
Hearing those caused Inuyasha to snap.
He could feel his body pulsing as his vision was filled with red and he lost himself.
Shippo whimpered as he felt the demonic pressure that Inuyasha was admitting and knew what was going to come next.
"Uh...boss...?" the wolf with the amber eyes looked at the pulsating Inuyasha nervously.
"What is it?" growled Scarface. "Don't tell me you lost your nerve!"
"Well no, but...."
"But what?!"
"But me." Scarface froze as Kouga growled out from behind him. Scarface cursed himself before looking over his shoulder and to the wolf leader.
"Give me the kit." Kouga stared at the rebelling wolf with his icy blue eyes.
"No!" Scarface snarled, his grip tightening on the kit's tail. Shippo let out another yowl, which was answered by an enraged snarl and the screams of pain that came from the two wolves that were holding Inuyasha down. The two whipped around and they stared in shock at the scene before them.
The two wolves were laying on the ground, their eyes were open yet unseeing and blood was soaking the grass and dirt around them. Above the two were Inuyasha with two purple stripes under his eyes and the said eyes were green on red. He flexed his blood stained claws before turning towards Scarface with a rather demented grin on his face.
Scarface was quick to shove Shippo into Kouga's arms before running away for his life. Of course, Inuyasha gave chase.
"Tessaiga..." Shippo mumbled. "We need to get it to him...to change him back."
Kouga nodded and sprinted, grabbing the sword in record time, ignoring the burning pain from the sword's field and bolted towards where Inuyasha had Scarface pinned, his claws slicing into the wolf's chest, ready to kill him when Inuyasha felt a familiar wait in his hand. He could feel his eyes drooping and he was made aware of hands on him, cradling him to a warm chest.
He didn't even have time to glance at his stain hands before he drifted off to sleep.
