Summary: Part 73 of The Seven

Prompt Summary: Jakotsu stops to notice the sunrise.

The next morning came far too early for Jakotsu's liking, but even still he rose before dawn without complaint and made his way outside for some water. The two of them were no doubt in need of a bath; though a quick sponging would have to do for now. Making quick work of the well, Jakotsu was soon making his way back inside when he noticed the sun was beginning to rise.

Stopping to watch it for a few moments, Jakotsu found himself feeling almost pretty bathed in the pink light. Finding himself wondering if Bankotsu would have thought the same thing, he shook his head to clear such thoughts; even though he was smiling at the idea of Bankotsu finding him attractive. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Jakotsu made his way back inside to find Bankotsu setting up the table with their breakfast.

"You know, if you do decide to stay with me for the long term, I'd be cooking all your meals for you," Jakotsu practically promised as he set the water down and made his way over and took a seat across from him. Instead of answering, Bankotsu just smiled and handed him his share of food. Watching him for a moment, Jakotsu chuckled to himself before turning his attention to his meal.
