AN: Here's chapter eight. Chapter ten will be the last one of this story.
Chapter Eight.

Inuyasha emerged from the well, thankfully, the well house was empty as he rushed for the house and entered it. He cringes as the smell of curry filled his nose, where was Kagome he wondered.
He crept into the kitchen as the smell of curry struck his nose and made it water. He wanted nothing more than to find Kagome and get out of that kitchen with that smell. He backed away from the kitchen only to bump into someone. He turned to look at who he had bumped into.
"Hello Inuyasha, if your looking for Kagome, she's out at the moment, would you like to try what I'm making for dinner," said Kagome's mother.
�Uh, sorry, I really need to see Kagome,� Inuyasha said, as he side stepped her.
�Oh, she should be back soon, she�s in school,� Kagome�s mother stated, as she grabbed the ladle of curry sauce and with one motion pushed it into his mouth. �Now tell me how it tastes?�
Inuyasha�s eyes bugged out as he dashed to find some water. Kagome's mother smiled, she may have to add some more chili powder. Inuyasha found the magic pump in the bathroom and turned it on to get rid of the hot taste in his mouth. He never did like curry or whatever it was called. As soon as he felt his mouth cool down from the burning taste, he went to Kagome�s room and took a peek in to find that she was not there. He looked around and noticed that her books that she told him that she took to her school were missing. �She must be at that school of hers.�
Well the best thing he could do at the moment was wait for her, but what if she completely makes up her mind at school, that did it he was going to just have to find her and talk her out of marrying Kouga. He knew his ears would make a scene as most of the people here in this era never seen a half demon before. He looked around in her room and found a baseball cap. He pulled it over his ears and dashed out of her bedroom and down the stairs towards town. Inuyasha headed in the direction that he knew her school was in and started to run towards the school.
Inuyasha found her alright; it was lunch time but she was standing with a boy. Kagome was smiling at him. He listened in and heard the name Houjou. He wondered if he was a friend of Kagome�s or something more as he acted like more than that. Inuyasha knew he needed the answer from Kagome about marrying Kouga. Inuyasha left his hidden area and walked towards Kagome and Houjou. �Kagome,�
Kagome heard the voice and was shocked. �No, he couldn�t have come here. Inuyasha couldn�t have come here, could he?� She turned to see the red dressed half demon standing there.
Unfortunately so did her other female friends, "Kagome, is he who we think he is?"
Kagome�s shoulders slumped as she nodded. �That�s him�the one I been seeing,�
�Kagome, we need to talk about you not marrying Kouga! He�s a beast!� snapped Inuyasha.
�And like you aren�t, Inuyasha?� snapped Kagome. �You never cared about my feelings, like Kouga does!�
�Kagome, what is he talking about?� asked Houjou.
�I been asked for my hand by a young man by the name of Kouga and I am assuming that you, Inuyasha are jealous about it and trying to stop me from marrying him!� snapped Kagome glaring at Inuyasha, who cringed at her loud voice.
"Don't you have any consideration Kagome about how Araime feels about Kouga, he was promised to her remember," Inuyasha said.
�Well, he doesn�t recall promising to wed her. Besides, I�ll be getting a husband who loves me with all his heart. I do not have to worry that an old love would re-appear and draw the one I love away like you did with Kikyou, you brat!� snapped Kagome, turning away from him and walking away.
Inuyasha crossed his arms. "You know, I'm starting to think Sesshoumaru was right, Humans, just a waste of time." he said as he turned and walked away, tossing the baseball cap to the wind, what was at the point of hiding his true self anymore, Kikyou had made him realize that he loved Kagome, and Kagome just pushed him away. All that was left for him now was what he stated off with before he met Kikyou, the quest to become a full demon.
"I'll be back at home when you figure it out. Inuyasha sit boy!" yelled Kagome, as Inuyasha slammed to the ground.
Houjou looked at the fallen boy and spoke, �So you are the one Kagome lost her heart to. Yes, she loves you, Inuyasha but you are just too stubborn or stupid to notice it,� he stood up and walked away with the girls.
Kagome went home and went directly to the shower and took a bath. She knew Inuyasha would probably most like retreated back to feudal Japan then stay there. �It was for the best, maybe now he�ll return to Kikyou and live a happy life,�
Inuyasha sighed after he got up, he should just leave, he walked back to the temple and saw the sacred tree, he had first meet her there, it had also been the place where Kikyou had sealed him, he knew that it was a time tree, it was how him and Kagome were able to talk between time periods when the Chinese moth demon tried to take over Japan. He couldn't leave just yet. He walked over to the tree and jumped up into its branches to sit and watch Kagome, as well as reminisce on happier times.
He was gazing at the full moon as it rose over Tokyo; he glanced over at Kagome�s room to find her standing in her room wearing a towel. Did she come from the room with that strange tub in it? He wondered. His eyes went wide as he saw her remove the said towel from her body. He recalled how she looked when he saw her naked that time in the pool. But now, she had filled out in places he didn�t even think she had. She was beautiful and something in him started to speak about how much he loved her. He shook his head. �No, I love Kikyou and yet, I�m falling in love with Kagome. What�s going on with me?�
Inuyasha watched as Kagome dried herself off with the towel and he was growing jealous of that towel she was using to dry herself off with. He had to shake his head several times to get his head straight and he tried to think about Kikyou but his mind kept going back to Kagome and her room. He realized that his heart was telling him who he should be with. �Father, I wish I knew you and could get some guidance from you. Even you, my older brother Sesshoumaru, I would ask for advice from you too, as I know you too have the same problem as I do,�
"Inuyasha if you�re done looking, go to her, if you don't you may just regret it," spoke a familiar voice.
Inuyasha looked in the direction it came, he could have sworn it was Sesshoumaru, but he'd like to think his brother had more taste then to dress in tight black leather. �Sesshoumaru?�
�Yes, little brother, it�s me, now get off that branch and go to your woman and tell her how you feel. I can tell you love her,� spoke Sesshoumaru, as he looked towards his little brother.
Inuyasha nearly fell of the branch, and was about to make a rude comment but decided it was probably best to take his advice. 'Black leather, boy have has the mighty Sesshoumaru fallen.'
�Be thankful that my son Houjou told me that he saw you today,� spoke Sesshoumaru, before he turned and walked away from him. �Oh, one more thing, little brother, I�m glad you found someone to really love,�
�What about you, Sesshoumaru? Who�s your mate?� asked Inuyasha.
Sesshoumaru smiled, �Rin,� and then he walked away without another word.
Inuyasha turned his attention back to Kagome, he waited till she was done putting her pajama's on, he didn't want to get sat again.
He saw her finished pulling her top on and he started to climb up the way to her window and tapped on it. �Kagome, let me in please?�
Kagome turned to look at Inuyasha as he peered within her window. �Why should I?� asked Kagome.
"Because we need to talk, I've been a real idiot all this time, I didn't realize that I cared about you more then just a best friend till I over heard Kikyou and Kaede talking about you and Kouga."
�What are you trying to say, Inuyasha?� asked Kagome.
�I love you, Kagome and I do not want you to marry Kouga. I want you to marry me,� Inuyasha said.
�What about Kikyou?�
"Going to the grave, she wishes no longer to walk the world of the living."
�And what about you?� asked Kagome. �Are you going to follow her too?�
"The funny thing is�I don't want to follow her to the grave I choose life over death."
Kagome smiled. "In other words you've finally come to your senses."
�Yes and I chose�you,� whispered Inuyasha. He knew he needed to take the chance and go for it as he leaned forward and planted a kiss on her lips.
At first, Kagome was shocked by his admission and then his kiss. She wanted to push him away from her and �sit� him but she responded to his kiss as she knew Inuyasha finally was hers. But she knew to really make him hers; she would have to give him her virginity. Would it hurt when he takes her? She wondered. Maybe it would for a moment but would it be worth it? Looking at him made it worth it. �Inuyasha, please make love to me,�
�Are you sure?� asked Inuyasha looking at her. �This is your mother�s house, she�ll hear us,�
"It's ok, she should be sound asleep by now,�
Inuyasha bent down and kissed her lips as he removed her pajama top and started to kiss his way down. Soon, he was between her legs drinking in her smell and her juices that flowed from her before he placed himself within her.
Kagome felt Inuyasha�s tongue against her folds and then she felt him holding his member against her warmth and then he placed himself within her. She felt the sharp pain of her virgin barrier breaking as he pushed deeper into her body with his member. Soon, the room was filled with their cries of passion as Inuyasha filled her body with his seed.
Inuyasha whispered, �I love you, Kagome,�
Kagome fell asleep being cuddled by the man or half demon she loved with all her heart. Inuyasha slept by her side as well, wrapping his arm around Kagome�s waist.
