Two hours later the group
was assembled and ready to set out to search for Naraku and his minions.
Sesshoumaru frowned when he realized that there were children among them. They
would not participate in the fight and he gave orders about taking a trip back
to his castle.

Why niisan? asked Inuyasha as he strolled up to stand next to
his regal brother.

-

The children, they have no business with the creep. We will
let Jaken take care of them at my castle, said Sesshoumaru.

I understand and I agree with you brother, said Inuyasha and
nodded.
To Sesshoumaru castle�

Kaede saw them disappear
into the forest and she let the tears of a good bye fall from her dark grey eye.
She would miss them. �But they will come back, all of them.� She thought.
She did not dare to think anything else.

Half way to the castle
they were met by Ah-Uhn and he took Kagome on his back. Kirara transformed into
her big form and took Miroku on her back along with Shippou. Inuyasha refused to
let go of Sango, she had removed her kimono and was only wearing her slayer
suit. He wanted to curse the fact that it felt good having her soft body crushed
into his as he carried her on his back.
Sesshoumaru had a smiling
Rin in his arms. Her soft laughs made him feel proud of having a pup like her.
She was not afraid of much, just remembering how she had dared ventured into the
demon infested mountains to gather herbs for Jaken made his ego swell to
enormous proportions.
They were an odd bunch,
but a group filled with confidence, friendship and trust.

Jaken smiled inwardly as
he saw his master descend from the skies. He had been a good servant, in only
half a day he had managed to accomplish what Sesshoumaru had asked of him. He
could only hope that he would be rewarded for it.

Sesshoumaru-sama, this lowly Jaken has done what his master
has asked of him.

Very good Jaken-san, this Sesshoumaru is pleased with you,
said Sesshoumaru.
But before any more words
could be said between master and servant, a young voice rang through the air.

Jaken-sama!!
Rin came running and
caught the little toad in her arms, hugging him tight.

Rin-chan, managed Jaken to squeeze out.

Rin have missed Jaken-sama, she said and rubbed her nose
against his pointy one.
Everybody smiled at the
girl�s sudden affection for the toad but they did not say anything.
Sesshoumaru ordered the
servants who had come out from the castle to prepare rooms for their guests, but
when Inuyasha and Sango was about to follow them he stopped them.

-

I have ordered something special for you two, said
Sesshoumaru and took them off side.

What are you up to now niisan? asked Inuyasha suspiciously.

-

It is my surprise for you otouto, said Sesshoumaru.
Sango and Inuyasha
followed the stoic demon lord and they soon entered a big house. Sesshoumaru
slid the door open and showed them inside.

-

This is yours, this house and the neighbouring houses are
yours as well little brother. I sent Jaken to prepare the eastern wing for you
and your mate to be, said Sesshoumaru; you could detect a great pride in his
voice.

Niisan�. whispered Inuyasha impressed.

-

Sesshoumaru-sama, said Sango and looked around.

-

I hope you will find it suitable for your needs little
brother.
Inuyasha turned his
golden gaze from the interior of the room to his brother. He held out his right
hand and Sesshoumaru gently grasped it. Inuyasha yanked and Sesshoumaru fell
forward into his younger brother�s embrace.

-

Thank you Sess-chan, thank you, whispered Inuyasha so softly
that Sesshoumaru was not sure that he had heard it at all.

-

You are welcome little brother of mine, said Sesshoumaru and
patted the hanyou�s back. � Just make sure to fill these empty halls with some
puppies.
And with that the lord
moved away, leaving Inuyasha and Sango alone to explore their home to be.
Inuyasha turned to Sango
with a wide smile on his lips. He took hold of her waist and lifted her into the
air, spinning around with a howling sound.

Inu-kun�
screamed Sango.

Mm, what is it Sango-chan?
He put her down again and
he felt her hands on his face.

-

I love you, she said.

-

Sango-chan�

-

I think I have loved you for a long time now�
Inuyasha felt his heart
pound in his chest as he got down on his knee and took her hands into his.

-

Sango, the daughter of the tribe of taijyas, will you do me
the honour of being my mate? asked Inuyasha in one breathe.

-

Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes� cried Sango happily as she got down on
her knees as well and hugged him tight.

-

I love you Sango, I love you so much, whispered Inuyasha and
crushed her lithe form into his. � Be mine, please say that you will be mine.

-

Yes, I want to be yours Inuyasha.

-

Do you understand what it will mean to be mine Sango-chan?
asked Inuyasha.
Sango smiled and played
with one of his silvery tags of hair.

-

Do not insult me love. I am a taijya, I do know the laws of
demons. Once I accept I am yours completely.

-

Are you ready my love?

-

Yes I am my puppy.

-

I will teach you not to call me that, growled Inuyasha
playfully.
Sango giggled and
squirmed underneath his weight.
