Intolerance, part 1

Hello all! I've decided to give you TWO CHAPTERS!!! YAY! I thought making one long chapter would be...ya know...long. So I broke it up into two chapters. This is part 1. ENJOY! ^_^

LAST CHAPTER

"< Aoji, do you know what they're saying? >" Sora whispered down to him. Aoji squinted his eyes and read Myl's lips. Aoji's eyes widened like saucers. He looked up to Sora with great fear.

"< They're going to castrate him! >" Sora's eyes went wide.

Kouga began shaking his head. "N-no...don't..." His pleas fell upon deaf ears. Myl knelt down beside Kouga. He took a gloved hand and harshly grasped Kouga's manhood.

"< Don't worry, this won't hurt at all.>" Myl gave an evil smirk to his victim. "" Aoji stated.

"What?! Has he been found??"

"Yes, he has. Sora and Aoji went looking for him." Sesshoumaru answered. "They had Inuyasha tied up and beaten in a hut before they headed to the woods with Kouga. Unfortunately, Kouga has been severly injured. Inuyasha is taking care of him."

"Who would do such a thing?" Celestine ran his hand through his midnight black long hair.

"Nirah." Celestine's eyes went wide.

"< We don't know what went down, or what fueled her vengence, but she is the mastermind. >" Aoji added.

"What about Sora?"

"She's fine. Her and Shishio took Nirah somewhere." Sesshoumaru was suprised that Aoji knew English.

"I think I know where." Celestine motioned for Sesshoumaru and Aoji to follow.

Sora threw Nirah into a cold, damp cell in the bottom of one of the huts. Shishio was standing next to her.

"< What, in your right mind, made you think you can target my brother, and do what you did to him and Inuyasha?! >" Sora had to resist the urge to slit her throat.

"< That fool didn't know what he was missing. He's sick, and needs help. Men are not meant to love other men. >" Nirah answered with a cruel smirk.

"< He knew exactly what he was missing. And his sexual preferences are not your concern. His love knows no limits. That will be something you will never understand. >" Shishio reached into his pocket and took out his switchblade. He knelt in front of Nirah and pulled back her head by her hair. He made his dagger dance along her jawline. Nirahs' face was full of fear.

"Oh, now your scared?" Sora made sure Nirah understood what he was saying to her by translating. "You weren't scared when you made this plan! You weren't scared when you hurt my brothers!" Shishio struck her chin with his knee. Nirah's mouth began to bleed from biting her tongue and lip. "You have no right to be scared now! You shouldn't even have the right to breathe!" He gave her a swift kick in her abdomen.

" A tear escaped Sora's eye, as she heard the blood curdling scream of her best friend as she was beaten to death in her mind.

"Nee-chan..." Shishio saw his sister shed a tear for a reason he thought was because of what they did to Kouga and Inuyasha, but that was partly the reason.

"You will suffer." Sora grabbed Nirah's long dark brown hair and made her sit on her knees. With her other hand, she drew her sword. A sob came out of Nirah when she heard Sora's sword being unsheathed from its scabbard.

"< QUIET! You deserve this .>" Sora sliced through the hair and Nirah fell face forward onto the cold ground. Sora threw the locks of hair in front of the sobbing girl.

"< You won't need that anymore. > Shishio, do whatever to her." Shishio looked around and saw a hook hanging off a chain in the middle of the room. He had a smirk on his face.

"Give me a hand." He grabbed her ankles while Sora grabbed her wrists. They carried Nirah over to where the hook was hanging and he lifted her legs and hung her upside down by her feet. Her arms barely touched the ground.

"Slow torture. I should know." Sora gave her brother a sad look. She gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and headed towards the door.

As they locked the door behind them, Celestine, Sesshoumaru, and Aoji were coming in.

"Where is she?" Celestine asked.

"In there. We'll deal with her later. Let's go check on Kouga." Celestine stopped them in their tracks.

"She is still alive, right charak*?" ( AN: *NEW WORD!! means 'daughter')

Sora sighed. "Yes father. Unfortunately."

Inuyasha mixed everything together into a bowl. It was a pinkish paste speckled with green.

"Kouga, wake up. I'm done." Inuyasha gently shook Kouga awake.

"Already? Okay," Kouga stifled a yawn, "First, you'll have to clean off the dried blood from my wounds and body. Then apply the paste onto the wounds only. You don't need to put alot, but enough to cover the wound." Inuyasha nodded.

"A note of advice itoshii, it would be best to clean one side then..." Kouga yawned once more. "then apply the paste. Then continue to the other side."

"I'll try not to hurt you too much." Inuyasha said. Kouga smiled.

"You could never hurt me." Kouga closed his eyes and fell asleep again. Inuyasha submerged a washcloth into a water bowl and squeezed out the excess water. He wiped off the caked on blood around his wounds and where blood had dripped down his torso and dried. It wasn't as difficult as it seemed. Most of the blood peeled off easily, while others stuck to the hairs of his arms and skin. Kouga flinched when Inuyasha had one wound that was difficult to clean. It was the one on his manhood.

"I'm sorry, koishii." Inuyasha stroked his face and Kouga opened his eyes to small slits.

"Don't worry. It's not your fault." Kouga covered his fiancee's hand with his own. Kouga saw tears flowing from his eyes.

"No tears. You're too good for them." Inuyasha cracked a smile. Inuyasha reached behind his neck to unclasp Kouga's chain. He took the ring off the chain and placed it back on Kouga's left ring finger.

"Thank you." Inuyasha resumed applying ointment on Kouga's wounds.He used a cotton ball to apply the paste to Kouga's wounds on the front. The paste made his skin look like it was covered in rashes.

After about five minutes, Inuyasha was finished. The door opened and Celestine was in shock at what he saw. He made his way over to Kouga and knelt beside him and stroked his hair.

"Churak...what have they done?"

'Didi, you came." Kouga was smiling despite the throbbing he felt due to the paste.

"Of course I came, churak. Why wouldn't I?"

"Inuyasha and I need to tell you something, Didi." Celestine stopped him before he could say anymore.

"First, you get better. I'm sure Inuyasha can tell me later." Celestine kissed his son's forehead. He then turned to Inuyasha. "Thank you for taking care of my son, Inuyasha."

"It's no problem. I'm still not done though." Inuyasha turned towards Kouga. "I need you to turn over. Do you need help?"

"A bit." Kouga tried to sit up, but hissed at the pain of the wounds on his back clinging onto the futon underneath him. He managed to sit upright, but was out of breath. Celestine was sickened at the deep lashes on his back.

"These wounds are far more worse than the ones on the rest of your body." Celestine reached out a hand to touch the wound but Kouga flinched back.

"Don't, Didi." Kouga slowly managed to lay on his stomach. Inuyasha tried to push back the hair from Kouga's back, but were stuck in the caked blood. Some were even stuck in the wounds. Kouga gripped the futon as his hair was pried way from the wounds.

"< Didi, leave us. And everyone else too. Please come back when we're done. There is much explainng to do about what happened and Sora can fill you in. >" Celestine knew the real reason why Kouga did not want him to be there. Kouga didn't want everyone else to worry about him.

'So considerate.' He thought. "Very well. Everyone, except Inuyasha, come with me." After they left, Inuyasha began cleaning his wounds.

"What was that all about?" Inuyasha wrung out the washcloth and began again on a different area.

"I didn't want them staring at me. I know they're worried, but I'll be fine." Kouga hissed at one of the wounds Inuyasha was cleaning.

"Sorry. They're you're family, Kouga. They have a right to be worried." Inuyasha cleaned off the caked blood and began to apply the rest of the paste to the deep wounds.

"Done. Will this stuff make your scars disappear?"

"Most likely. We'll see...by...morn..." Kouga fell asleep for the umpteenth time. Inuyasha brushed away some hair and kissed his koishii's temple. He began to cleanup.

"Why would Nirah plan such a thing?" Celestine had his arms crossed and looked extremely pissed. They all stood inside the hut where Sesshoumaru, Shishio, Inuyasha, Kouga, and Sora slept.

"She found out that Kouga and Inuyasha were lovers and threatened to tell the entire tribe. Kouga refused her offer of marrying her and she lashed out at them." Shishio explained.

"I never knew such cruelty could come from her." Celestine said.

"She was desperate, Didi. And desperate people do desperate things. She'll pay though, like her brother did." Celestine turned towards his daughter.

"Please tell me you did not kill Myl?" Sora looked away.

"I didn't want to. But I saw no other way." Sora's eyes bacame glassy. "He was going to castrate Kouga."

"Killing him wasn't the answer!"

"What was I supposed to do, father!? Let Myl do that to Kouga and let him bleed to death?!" Celestine began to pace and run his hands through his hair.

"She will go on trial tomorrow."

"Trial?! She doesn't deserve-"

"That is the law in this tribe, Sora! Or have you forgotten?" Sora glared at her father. She closed her eyes and walked a few inches away from him, with her back facing him.

"You son needs to talk with you, father." Celestine reached out for his daughter, but drew back his hand and walked out.

"She's just like them." Sora whispered. "Just like those bastards who killed Elizabeth. She doesn'e deserve any kind of leniancy. She never gave any to Kouga." Sora covered her eyes and sobbed into her hands. Sesshoumaru brought her into his arms to comfort her.

"I think it would be best of we got some sleep." Aoji sugested.
