Tonight Kagomes dreams were filled with images of her and Inu yasha, she was almost disapointed when it was time to get up, then she remembered the activitys that had taken place and practicly jumped out of bed.It was a tifutiful Sunday morning, the sun was barley over the horizon, it reminded her of the morning she and Inu yasha had watched the sun rise together. She was anxious to wake up Inu yasha to make sure that it all wasnt just a lovely dream. Kagome had second thoughts when she saw the relaxed look on his face, for once he seemed so at peace. It would be a shame to wake him up now, so she curled up next to him and went back to sleep again in his arms. He unconsciously snuggeld closer to her and began to purr again. Kagome would have thought he was awake if it hadnt been for the slight snorring that came along with the rumbling in his chest. Kagome drifted off once again.

Kagome woke up again for the second time to the sound of Inu yasha's voice.
"Kagome, love? Its time to wake up now. Kagome?" Inu yasha's voice was calm but urgent.
"Mmm.......What time is it?" Kagome asked with her eyes still shut. She was still a little drozey. It seemed the more she slept the more tired she became.
"Its nearly noon" Inu yasha said in a low voice. Well that did it Kagome was fully awake now she sat up so fast her head was spinning, though that might have been because her head came into contact with Inu yashas as she sat up.
"Ow ow ow ow" She grumbeld as she rubbed her forehead. Inu yasha gave the term hard headed a whole new meaning.
"You You You really should open your eyes before sitting up so fast like that....." Inu yasha said with a smile on his face.
"Very funny..." Kagome said trying to sound upset but her own little smile betrayed her true feelings.
Inu yasha handed Kagome a bowl of ramen , and they ate breakfast together in a peaceful silence. Inu yasha picked up Kagomes pack back and helped her to her feet. He stole a quick kiss before picking her up in his arms and practicly flying back to camp.

Inu yasha arrived at the location of their camp to find everything a complete mess. The sleeping bag Kagome had left was in shreds, there was instant ramen thrown all over the place, the tea set that Kagome had brought back from the future was in peices on the ground. Kagome wouldnt have been upset if it werent for the fact that there was blood everywhere and a very beat up Shippo lay on the ground. Kagome immediatly rushed to her adopted childs side to find that he was still breathing but only just. She held him in her arms as she began to cry, she could only fear the worst for the rs. rs. Inu yasha investigated things a little closer only to find that a battle had been fought, but what bothered him was that he only smelt the scent of his allies blood. There was no scent of another youkai. This made him extremly worried.
"Inu yasha how could this have happend?" Kagome said through her tears.
"I dont know but I can tell that the others are near by" he said with a hint of sorrow.Kagome dried her tears and set shippo down and wrapped him in a blanket from her bag. She placed him against a tree a picked up her discarded bow and her arrows.
"Inu yasha tell me, is there a fowl scent in the air?" She asked seriose as could be. She didnt take anyone who harmed her friends lightly.
"I dont smell any strange youkai or humans, just blood, lots of it." He said with his nose scrunched up. The smell of his friends blood was so stronge he could alost taste it.
ts gts go, you said that they are near by, they might need our help" She said as she climbed onto Inu yashas back with her bow and arrows.He didnt argue with her as he took off in the direction of his companions scent.

The arrived to find Mirokus dead body by the lakeside, he appeared to have been impaled through his heart. Kagome didnt have the time to morn the death of her friend, because of the fact that barley 100 yards away Chibi and Sango were ingaged in a life or death battle ....... with eachother? Kagome fitted her bow with a arrow and raised it, but she was not sure exactly who to point it at. Chibi was the first to notice Kagome. As she bounded over to her 'mother' she was greeted by a deadly arrow directed at her. Sango soon noticed Kagome as well and ran to her friends side as well but was greated by tetsuiga pointed at her.
"Kagome mama you hurt Chibi?" the little fox said while staring at her sergate mother.
"Chibi stay right there until we figure this out I wont hurt you if you dont move" She said feeling bad about having to threaten a child.
"Certainly you dont believe that I did that?!" Sango said as she pointed to the fallen Miroku as she took a step closer to Kagome, She stopped when Inu yasha raised his sword and prepared to strike.
"Kagome your my best friend! You now I would never seriosly hurt ku! ku! It was her! She ripped out his heart right in front of me! She's not what she appears to be!" Sango's eyes began to fill with tears.
"Its not true! She's a bad lady, she hurt Shippo and Uncle Miroku! She tried to hurt Chibi to but Chibi ran away. Kagome momma please dont let her hurt Chibi! Chibi is a good girl!" Chibi sobbed into her kimono....her kimono. Inu yasha looked at Chibi and sniffed her. He then turned to Sango and growled feircely.
"Kagome take Chibi and back away" Inu yasha orderd. Kagome was confussed but didnt argue.
" Tell me Sango how is it that Chibi managed to rip out Mirokus heart without getting any of his blood on her, yet somehow you are coverd in it as well as Shippos?" he said as he prepared to attack. It was then that Kagome noticed that Sango was carring a large amount of shards. One of which was implanted in her back.
"Inu yasha shes got shards! Tons of them! And one is stuck in her back" Inu yasha nodded to acknoledge her but didnt take his eyes off of Sango. Sangos scent slowly changed as did her apperance, her eyes changed from brown to golden and almost cat like. Her ears sharpend into points as well as her canines and her finger nails that now looked to be claws. Her hair turned into a light blonde as her attire changed from her battle suit into a pale pink kimono that laced up the side all the way to her neck. She also had a blonde furry fox tail. When she was done she looked almost identical to Chibi except a lot older and more sturn. Inu yasha was taken back. It wasnt the fact that she had changed into someone else it was who she turned into. Standing before him was the Great demon of the northern lands,the great kitsune, Sakura, who was supposed to be dead. The great demon stared at Inu yasha with her icy gaze, it was enough to make a lesser demon crawl away.
"So dog boy figured it out, my arent we clever." She said with a smirk. As soon as Chibi saw the Great demon who stood before them she began to struggle in Kagomes arms, trying despratly to escape her grasp.
"Mommy!" She cried out, though it was not directed tword Kagome.
