“No she’s ok she was in heat last night and now that we are full demons she will start to show signs of being pregnant that is if she is. It could just be the change from human to demon that’s making her sick to her stomach.” Sesshomaru looked at his brother and said, “You mean to say you let your possibly pupped mate out of your sight are you crazy little brother? How many enemies do you have out there and then all the ones I have and the ones that hate are family because of them being fathers enemies on top of that she’s the Shikon miko even now that she’s a demon.”

Before Sesshomaru could do anything Kagome walks back into the hut running her hand on his arm as she walks by him to get to InuYasha and said, “I am fine Sesshomaru I was not that far from the hut and this village is safe. Did you not fill the barrier around the hut? Kaede keeps one up at all times no one that means harm to the ones inside can enter it. I did not leave the barrier when I went outside and should I scream I doubt a hut wall would slow InuYasha down at all even you and your father would be at my side fast even having to hand the pups to someone else first.” Growling at her back Sesshomaru knew she was right but said, “Just because you are right does not mean he should not have gone with you.”

Looking at his eldest son Toga then said, “Clam yourself son you are both right. Now take your sons I have a way to tell if she is pupped now and I need both of my hinds.” Handing his grandsons to their father then he goes to his new daughter to see if he was going to be a grandfather by both sons within 2 months of each other. He would be the happiest he had ever been before if she was he had 2 sons, 2 grandsons, 1 daughter and the woman he loved with all his heart. It would be just that much better if his new daughter were with pup. They would not know how many till their little hearts started to beat. Looking at Kagome he asked, “Do you want to know now or wait till it can be scented from you? We should be able to scent it tomorrow.”

Smiling up at Toga and said, “Yes I want to know now I can’t wait to find out if I’m going to have InuYasha’s pup. It will make me the happiest I have ever been. I have wanted to have his pups for almost 5 years now so for me to become pupped on the night I became his mate would be the best thing to happen ever.” Blushing as red as the robe of the fire-rat at what she just said to her new father-in-law. Chucking at her shyness and asked, “Why so shy little one after such a display of the love you have for my son?” giggling Kagome said, “That’s just it I said all of that to my new father-in-law.” Laughing Toga said, “There is no reason to be shy about loving ones mate as you do or saying so out loud like that. I would have marked Izayoi as my mate had she not been pupped by the time I could do so. I bet you want to know why I did not the first time right. It was because by Inu law. If one has produced an heir out of mating like I did I could not take a mate till my heir was 300 years old. I had 2 weeks left before I could mark her when I found out she was pupped.” Gasping Kagome looked to Sesshomaru and said, “You have to wait 300 years to find a mate as well then.” Sesshomaru looked at her and said, “No I do not, the mother of my pups is dead and she died of natural causes so I could mate today if I wanted to. That may be why Tenseiga did not revive her. My intended mate if she will have me is human and would be dead before I could mate by Inu law.”

Sesshomaru glanced at Rin and thinks, ‘is she old enough or should I wait a bit longer yet.’ Seeing who he was looking at Kagome asked, “Rin how old are you?” Rin looking up from playing with Isao and answered, “I’m 15 years old, I will be 16 in 2 months why Kagome-sama?” Walking closer to Sesshomaru she said, “Oh no reason just wanted to know.” To Sesshomaru she whispered, “She is old enough to make up her mind on her own ask her and let her pick if she wants to be your mate, but let her know it is till death and tell her everything before you let her answer you ok.” Sesshomaru looked at Kagome and whispered back, “thank you imouto that helped.” Then said louder so everyone could hear, “We should leave tomorrow I smelt rain on the wind on my way here and it will be here about mid day or soon after.”

Sticking his head out the door InuYasha sniffed the air and said, “Yeah your right about the rain I don’t want the little ones out in the rain if we don’t have to. We will leave after breakfast tomorrow if it is not raining then.” Looking at Miroku and asked, “Do you think your hut is big enough to have all of us to stay there for the night? Me, Kagome and the kit in one corner, then my father and mother in another with Sesshomaru, Rin and the twins along the wall on the same side and you and yours on the other side of the fire pit.”

Miroku nodded and said, “I think that would work out fine my friend. What are pack members for if not to house them when needed you are like a brother to me InuYasha and will be known as an oji to my kids even if you are not so by blood.” Filling proud of her husband Sango said, “I fill the same way as Miroku dose InuYasha you are family to us no matter what.” Blushing lightly InuYasha said, “thanks guys it’s nice to hear that from you growing up the way I did it’s nice to have some good friends that is so close they are family. Now if we can stop talking maybe we can see if Kagome and I will be adding to the pack.” Smiling he turned to his father and said, “Ok father now that we have stopped talking, what do you have to do to find out if she is pupped?”

Shaking his head Toga said, “I put my hands on her belly and use my youki and depending on how it moves from one hand to the other is how I tell if she is pupped it may hurt me a bit because she is a miko but that is ok I will do it to see if I will get more grandpups. It seems I have 4 more than I thought when I found out about Sesshomaru’s 2 pups.” As toga was speaking about what he had to do to find out if she was pupped as he was doing it.

Smiling brightly and said proudly, “You my dear are pupped we will not know how many till their little hearts start beating.” Squealing happily, hugged Toga, and said, “Yea I’m going to be a mother to InuYasha’s pups.” Running to InuYasha and giggling at the happy shocked face he was making. Hearing a sound from Shippo Kagome kneels down and asks, “What is wrong Shippo?” Shippo looks down to try and hide the tears and says, “Now that you are going to have your own pups you won’t need me anymore.”

Before Kagome could say anything InuYasha said, “Now listen here Shippo just because we are having pups don’t mean you are not our pup anymore it just means you become a big brother. Kagome adopted you the moment we helped you avenge your father’s murder and as her adopted son that makes her pups your brothers and sisters, and with me as her mate that makes me your adopted father.” Looking up to InuYasha with a tear streaked face and said, “Do you mean that InuYasha?” kneeling down next to Kagome and said, “Of course Shippo you have been her pup from the day that we killed the thunder brothers and avenged your father and as of last night my son as well.”

Walking over to the young kit, Izayoi kneels down, picks Shippo up, and asked, “Did you hear Toga say that it looks like he had 4 more grandpups then he thought?” looking Izayoi in that eyes and said, “Yeah I heard him say that, but if he was saying that it was me and Sango and Miroku’s kids. What about Rin?”

Sesshomaru walked over and asked, “Did you hear what kagome whispered to me a bit ago?” Shippo looked at Sesshomaru and said, “No I did not. What did she whisper to you?” InuYasha looked at his brother and said, “Sesshomaru why don’t you go for a walk with Rin before the rain gets here I will tell the kit about it ok.” Whispering so only demon ears could hear him, “Rin should not find out that way ok.” Sesshomaru nodded then said, “That’s a good idea there are some early spring flowers would look good in the hair of the lady’s here.”

After Sesshomaru and Rin had left and was out of Rin’s hearing range InuYasha said, “Shippo the reason my father did not include Rin in the grandpup count is because Sesshomaru wants to mate her. Tell me what that would make her to him then.” Shippo gasped and said, “That would make her his daughter-in-law right.” Smiling InuYasha said, “Yes kit that’s right so that would mean she would be your oba. Just as Sango is your oba as well, and Sesshomaru and Miroku are your oji’s, and Yoko, Reiko, Isao, Yoshikazu, and Shinji are your cousins. Now what should we have for lunch?”

Shippo looked up to his new father and said, “Fish, me and you could go get fish for lunch and maybe a boar as well.” Laughing at the now happy little fox kit and said, “That sounds good kit, Miroku add one of your barriers to Kaede’s Sesshomaru is right one barrier is not enough to keep some of his and father’s enemies out if they wanted in. With Sesshomaru’s heir here, they will do just about anything to get to him and now Kagome is pupped I don’t want her to use her miko powers till she given birth to the pup just in case it hurts the pup.” Miroku said, “Ok InuYasha I’ll add one just like the one Kaede has up and I will add the same one to my hut when you get back from hunting for lunch. If you find a dear out in your hunt could you get it for supper?” “Sure, father do you want to hunt with us or stay here and protect the pack?” InuYasha asked as he got up to head outside with Shippo on his shoulder. “I will stay here with the pack one of us should be here with them for the extra power if it is needed.” Replied Toga “Ok I will be back soon.” InuYasha said as he went to kiss Kagome before he left to hunt.
