Sango smiled, but she
understood Kagomes reaction, she was actually a bit overwhelmed by the new
development too. They all heard a sound coming from inside the hut and they
looked up to see Kaede stand in the doorway.

I hope you all have slept well,
the older miko smiled and looked at the cuddling pairs.

-
Yes we have Kaede-sama, said
Sesshoumaru and nodded to her.

-
Then I guess everyone wants to
have some breakfast?

-
We love too Kaede-obaasan, said
Sango.

-
What happened to Kagome-sama?
asked Kaede.

She got a little bit of a chock
when she woke up to see Inuyasha kiss Shippou-chan on his head and Shippou-chan
called Inuyasha for Inu-papa, said Sango.

Oh I see, so your mating with
Sesshoumaru has been influencing them too, that�s very nice. I have been waiting
for those two to get together.
Sango, Sesshoumaru and
Shippou followed the old miko inside the hut, leaving Inuyasha with the
unconscious Kagome. He purred gently, waiting for the girl to wake up. But he
stiffened when he smelled the awful stench of a much hated wolf. �Kouga.�
He growled low and tucked Kagome closer to his form. The wolf was not going to
take Kagome from him, no one would. She was his.

A whirlwind appeared in
front of Kaedes hut and Kouga made his presence known. Shippou came running and
jumped up on Inuyashas shoulder, glaring at the wolf. He would protect his mama
from the wolf that wanted to take her away from him and his papa.

Oi mutt-face, what have you done
to Kagome? the wolf snarled.

-
She is asleep you twit, can you
not tell this? Inuyasha spat.

Then why are you holding her?
Can she not sleep on her own?

Why are you here wolf? piped
Shippou.

I am here to get Kagome of
course kit, what did you think?

You can not take her, she is my
mama.
Kouga raised an eyebrow
in surprise; sure he had known that the kitsune loved Kagome, but to call her
mama? He pushed the thought aside and took a few steps closer to them.

Stay where you are wolf, growled
Inuyasha dangerously.

I am here to take Kagome to be
my mate and lead female in my pack. And you will not stop me, said Kouga
viscously.

-
Inu-papa, don�t let him take
mama from us, cried Shippou.

-
Of course not pup, he is not
going to take her anywhere. He will get his mangy ass off these lands and that
in a hurry, assured Inuyasha and rubbed his chin against Shippous head.

Ha, who would stop me? You think
you could stop me from taking my mate dog boy?

-
No I will be the one to stop you
wolf!!
Kouga spun around to see
the great Demon Lord Sesshoumaru in the hut�s entrance. The wolf paled but
regained his confidence.

I will not allow you to take the
young miko, she is to be my brother�s mate, and therefore she is to be my little
sister.

And she is my sister too, said
Sango and appeared next to Sesshoumaru, her hand laid on her short sword. I will
protect her from anything, even the wolf who says that he cares for her.

Sango, stay back please,
Sesshoumaru whispered to his mate but she shook her head, this was something she
not would back away from.

-
You should get your ass of our
lands before ojisan and Sango kills you, said Shippou with an evil smile, making
them all very surprised.

Feh, do you think I am afraid of
a�

[BONK]

-
Gods how confident can you get?
said Miroku with a sigh and removed his staff from the unconscious wolf�s head.

Thank you Houshi-sama, he was
getting quite annoying, said Sesshoumaru before turning to his mate.

No problem, I have never liked
him anyway, he is so full of him self, said Miroku and watched the two wilful
spirits collide. �Oops, I think I will go inside to
Kaede, seems like a good idea at the moment.�

Miroku pushed himself
past the taijya and the demon and nodded to Kaede. She gave him a bowl of soup
and he thanked her.
Sango did not like the
look in his amber eyes and she gulped. He pulled her into his arms before
lifting off with the help of his magic. He was going to punish her, she was sure
of it. She had disobeyed him. Her heart pounded hard in her chest, her breathing
was ragged.
Sesshoumaru felt her fear
and he hated it. He nuzzled her neck and sat down in a clearing near the magic
well. He held her tighter when he felt her struggle against his grip.

Sango, we need to talk again, he
said with a low voice.

-
No we do not, she yelled. He was
trying to take my sister away, I could not let that happened, you know this too.

-
The wolf would not have a chance
against me, and he would certainly not stand a chance against my brother.
Inuyasha sees Kagome as his mate, and he would kill anybody who would try to
take her away from him. You are schooled in the ways of demons; I am surprised
you have not realized some things yet.
Sango relaxed a bit, she
knew he told her the truth. Inuyasha would never let anyone take Kagome away
from him and Shippou. But soon she felt her stomach be turned inside out and she
untangled herself from his arms and rushed to the nearest bush.

Sesshoumaru felt a rush
of nausea hit him in the stomach and he knew. Her morning sickness had caught up
with her. He went to her side, stroking her back for comfort. He hated to see
her like this, and he was the reason for her discomfort.

Sango breathed hard after
the hurling, she was embarrassed by the thought of being seen in this poor
state, she could feel tears form in her eyes.

Shh, my mate, do not cry, I can
not stand to see your tears, he whispered and pulled her into his lap, making
her head rest in the crook of his neck.

I can not help it, I feel so�
He silenced her ramblings
by placing a clawed finger on her lips. She looked into his face and he shook
his head a bit.

-
Do not say it beloved, I do not
want to hear it. You are beautiful and strong. And you are carrying my pup.
He brought them both up
and he carried her to a little spring nearby. She washed her mouth from the foul
taste and drank a bit. Sesshoumaru nuzzled the mark he had placed on her neck,
feeling her shiver against his form.

Which reminds me, I need to
travel back to my castle to get Rin, I want her to be with us now.

Of course, when will you be
going?

-
This afternoon, but I want you
to promise me not to engage in any kind of battle. I will talk to my brother to
look after you. I will come back within two days with Rin and Jaken.

-
I promise Sesshoumaru, said
Sango and crossed her fingers in her mind.

-
Good, now let me take you back
to Kaedes hut. I am sure that Kagome have awoken now.
He lifted her bridal
style and moved fast back to the village.
