Disclaimer: I don't own the original Inu Yasha characters (I
hope you know which ones I am talking about.). Though I do own the plot line
for this story and my characters, Lez (Leslie), Will (William (White Bull)
Warrinton), Ko (Konuku), Ku (Kunuku), Ryuu, Tai (InuTaisho), Ni (InuNichie),
Max, and Kura. I think that's it.
Ryuu: And Inu's suck. Especially the dumb Dog's kids.
Tai: Really.
Ni: Right.
Lez: Yo dragon I would run if I were you.
Ryuu: What yah mean.
Lez: F34r th3 d0g onez? (Fear the dog ones?)
Ryuu: What the hell are you saying wolf.
Tai: H n0t n0t a l33t m4s73r. (He is not a l33t master.)
Ni: 7h1s w1ll b3 34sy. (This will be easy.)
Will: An old man once said watch the snake for it can get
where no other creature can. Also one of my best friends said fear any one who
knows l33t.
Myst: Right guys um anyway. I now present to you chapter 9
of Going Nowhere Fast.
Trio: Damn that's a crappy title
Myst: I like it.
Trio: You got it off of your black light key chain I see.
Myst: Yepers but the key chain says BOLDLY Going Nowhere.
Trio: Same diff. *jumps out of the way to keep from getting
run over by Ryuu in his true form followed by Tai and Ni.* Damn their on the
war path.
Lez: Yup.

Chapter 9
Escape from the
Dimension of Pain (in a not so Torg-like way)

That next morning and all day during school all Kagome could
think about was 'Is He alive? If so where? What is he doing? Why didn't he come
to me?' and other similar questions chased each other around in her head like
mice in a barrel. She also seemed to think about the Shingoku Jidai, and at one
point she caught herself drawing a picture of Inu Yasha sitting in the
Goshinboku. Finally when her Ancient Legends Class got over she slowly if not
deliberately walked out into the parking garage where he little Ford Echo sat
and in it iam iam was sleeping in the back seat as he was prone to do when he
got out of class. "Hey Will wake up we're going to the High School to pick Ryu Ryuu. I promised him that this time we would be there on time and not a half
hour later." She grumbled as she reached for the fly swatter lying on the
front seat. Turning around she smacked the Bison demon on the nose none to
lightly, "Now wake up you waist of good meat."
William bellowed and sat up straight bashing his head on the
roof of the car. "Itai, What tha hell was that for Kagome."
The young adult turned around brandishing the fly swatter,
"Nothing cept for the fact that you are sleeping and I told you to get up.
At the rate we're going we'll be late for picking up Ryuu."
Will snorted and shook his head. He had fell asleep ng
ng
to figure out why Kagome had been visited by such an old Youkai and one that
was so prominent in Youkai society. Will had actually met this Lord Shippou at
the all clan Powwow down in New Mexico. Maybe he should ask what was on his
mind. Kagome would usually answer him truthfully. "Hey Kagome, what
happened when you and Shippou-sama went into the kitchen last night to talk?
What did he tell you? Was it something about your past that you have hidden
from me?"
Her gripped the steering wheel so hard her knuckles turned
white. The only answer she gave Will was a swift nod.
"Was there anything that he gave yah?"
Once again Kagome nodded but she quickly reached over and
dug into her purse while they were stopped at a red light. Pulling out the
ancient scroll, with the faded kanji on the front, she handed it to her friend,
"Be careful that scroll is at least 500 years old and it's from my former
lover. I don't want it destroyed. It might possibly be the only thing I have
left of him." Pulling into the parking lot of the high school she shuts
off the car and waits for Ryuu.
Gently unrolling the scroll Will scanned the contents.
Apparently this was a love letter from some lord or something or other, but why
the hell did it say Taiyoukai on it and why the hell was it 500 years old.
Kagome wasn't a demon. Will took a quick sniff of Kagome and finally realized
that she had a rather dim mating scent on her, and apparently the one she had
mated with had been a dog demon. Looking Kagome directly in the eye he asked
only one question. "How?"
Closing her eyes Kagome bowed her head as a few tears ran
down her cheeks. This was going to be hard. Looking up at Will she started,
"Kay this is just going to be a short overview later I'll tell you the
whole story. Kay?" Will nodded. "Kay. Now you've heard Jii-chan speak
of the bone eaters well."
"Yeah? But what does an old empty well have to do with
this."
"That 'Old empty well' as you put it actually was the
beginning and end of this story. A demon crossed over the time streams in that
well and pulled me down in one day. I ended up in the Shingoku Jidai. Once
there I freed a hanyou by the name of Inu Yasha, and found out that a possessed
a powerful magical artifact, the Shikon No Tama. Another demon stole the Shikon
jewel from me and when I was chasing it down I shot it with a purification
arrow and shatt bot both the demon and the jewel."
"That was dumb."
"Yeah i know Will. Anyway to make the long story short
Inu Yasha and I travel all across the Shingoku Jidai chasing down youkai that
had shards and taking those shards. During our travels we fought with his
brother Sesshomaru Taiyoukai of the Western Lands, Inu Yasha traded insults
with Kouga the Wolf Demon Prince, met up with a demon exterminator by the name
of Sango, a perverted Buddhist monk by the name of Miroku, a kitsune child
named Shippou, and we were all fighting an evil called Naraku. During my last
year in the Shingoku Jidai I started falling in love with one of my companions
and mated with him, and then we were separated when the jewel was completed. I
have went to every library i could and i still haven�t found out what
happened."
Will looked at her then looked down at his lap. How in the
hell do you tell your best friend that you had an idea of what happened and
that you knew where some of her friends were? "Kagome,
I...well...I..."
He was lucky because at that moment Ryuu decided to open the
door to get in and saw them. After closing the door the dragon looked at Will
then at Kagome, "You told him didn't yah."
Nodding Kagome started the engine and pulled out of the
parking lot and headed to the nearby coffee shop where they were to meet the
others. When Kagome got done parking the car she walked to the coffee shop and
once inside her friends mobher.her. Lez, Ko, and Ku started to bugging her.
Trying to get her to tell them how she knew Kitt. Kagome looked up out of her
cup of coffee and looked over at Leslie, "Lez do you know of somewhere
private that we can go and discuss this. I really don't feel safe talking with
all these people around."
Lez scratched the side of her nose for a few seconds
pondering on where they could go, "Well we can go back to the store and
ask my uncles if we can use the den. I don't think they would mind all that
much."
Nodding Kagome stood up, "Well what are we waiting for
the sooner I can tell you this the sooner I can put it behind me again."
Every one walked outside William and Ryuu climbed into Kagome's Ford Echo,
while Lez started up her yellow Vespa along with Ko and Ku on Ko's black and
silver Vespa.
A few minutes later they all parked around back of the store
and walked in. Looking around Kagome noticed that the inside of the store had
changed all the racks of merchandise were nowhere to be seen. The only thing
left that had been in there before was the main counter and behind the main
counter sat the wolf brothers playing Suikoden 3. "Hey you two."
Looking up Hakaku grinned, "Yo, so why are you guys
back here on so short notice."
Lez quickly tweaked her uncle�s ear causing him to yelp,
"We need to use the den."
Hakaku stood up and dusted himself off, "Why?"
Copying Lez, Kagome tweaked his ear and looked him straight
in the eye, "Because I need to tell them 'The Story'."
That got Ginta's attention away from the cut scene,
"Yeah um you can use it. Lez, when you get up there shoo our wolf out of
there."
Thanking them Kagome hurried up stairs and got into the den
before anyone else. The other filled in slower and Will refused to step one foot
inside until the wolf had been shooed out. Once they had all got situated
Kagome started to tell her story. A few hours later she was done and only with
Ryuu confirmation did they believe it. They sat in silence mulling over what
she had said. That was until the silence was shattered by what sounded like a
couple of kids playing tag. They looked out side and, to Kagome's surprise, saw
two miniature versions of Shippou playing tag. Just as the little ones were
racing down the hall someone stepped out of the bathroom only to get mowed over
by the two youngsters. Kagome smiled apparently Shippou was a father and his
kits were just as rambunctious as her was.
"MAX, KURA STOP RUNNING AROUND! YOU'LL PROBIBLY WAKE
THE DEAD AND I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT THEM!!!" After he got done yelling he
felt a presence or several presence around him. Looking up he saw Kagome
holding out her hand. "Hey momma." Reaching out he took her proffered
hand and pulled himself back up. "Um if you will go back in the den I'll
join you after I get done changing. Oh yeah watch out for those two. Their
little balls of terror."
Kagome giggled at that, "No worse then what you
were." Grumbling the kitsune quickly picked up what dignity he had left
and vacated that spot. "Oh how I've missed that."
A few moments later Shippou walked back into the den only
this time instead of a pair of sweats he was now wearing baggy Jinco jeans and
a baggy Good Charlotte tee. "Kagome I know you want to know what happened
to the other so I'll tell you as much as I am able to. I did make a promises to
not tell some of it." So after another hour they all knew what had
happened to every one else but Insha.sha.
Kagome was the first to speak up, "But what about
Inu..."
"He wants to tell you himself, and I had to follow what
He said." At that moment every one else started asking questions in no
apparent order. Shippou had been trying to answer them but they were
overwhelming. "QUIET!!!" Every one went silent. "Ah that's
better. Now my mate will handle all of the other questions that you have. I
have to take Kagome somewhere."
"Shippou you had better get going because doesn't he
live Kofu. Now who has a question, and remind you I'll only take one at a
time."
Shippou took Kagome's hand and led her outside to his small
Honda, "Well let's go."

*Trumpets sound*
Myst: *bowing* Thank you. Thank you.
Ryuu: You know that you aren�t all that high an mighty.
Myst: *raises up her hand and lighting shoots forth from the
sky striking Ryuu* You were saying.
Ryuu: Sorry.
Myst: Kay chapter 9 completed. Chapter 10 up next. Chapter
10 will only be around two maybe three sentences long so have fun. Also in
chapter 11 we find out who this mysterious Him, He, who ever they guy that
Kagome fell in love with. Also chapter 12 will be the lemon. Kay this is going
to be broke down MM.org will have to true lemon whereas FF.Net will have the
URL for MM.org, and to be able to post the URL I am also going to do a skit
with Ryuu, Ko, Ku, Lez, Tai, Ni, and Kagome. It�s gonna be like who's line is it
anyway but the only props they will have is nerf guns, supper soakers,
funnoodles, and a rubber ducky each. Oh and did I forget the tanker of prized
Guinness draft. Have a fun New Years.
