A/N: So I felt kinda bad about leaving all my delightful readers with a cliffy yesterday...so here's some action for you! Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it;)
Wrapping my arms around his shoulders and praying to every deity I could name that I would emerge from this encounter alive and with all my appendages intact, I kissed Sesshoumaru. The taiyoukai was still for an instant, then his body came alive. One elegant hand ran through my hair as it tipped my head back; he took control of the kiss almost immediately. I could feel his tongue seeking entrance to my mouth, which I granted willingly. I was so eager to taste him, to memorize his flavors as they imprinted themselves onto me.

In spite of all that though, I knew he was right. I could feel in my heart that Sesshoumaru was not the one to complete me.
