Chapter Nine

Sesshoumaru wrote some notes on the board for the class to copy. He was glad that the prom was next week and school was out shortly after that. Aikido Toa was relieved of teaching as he was suffering a psychotic break down and delusions of monsters wanting to kill him. He smirked as he tried to wonder where a man would get such a crazy thought. Monsters aren�t real and since they aren�t real they can�t get into the person�s house and threaten to kill that person for trespassing onto ones territory. Surely he must be crazy.
It had been a month since the taiyoukai learned he was going to be a father and the prom was only a week away. He had found a nice home not too far from the shrine which everyone seemed happy with. It was a bit larger than the last place with extra rooms and bathrooms since he had Kagome�s family over often. He did enjoy the master bedroom for it was quite large and had a master bathroom complete with bathtub so him and Kagome could still have their privacy when Souta came to stay the night once in awhile. It seemed the boy and Shippo enjoyed each others company so much they�d taken to sleepovers. He sighed at the thought trying to figure out if the boy he raised was a man now or still a boy in an older body. He picked the latter.
The taiyoukai gave a tiny growl as he heard some of his class snickering before turning around. He caught the note that was being passed to another student and walked over to retrieve it. Taking it from the student he opened it to look at it as the class grew very silent. He raised an eyebrow before walking over to Kagome and placing it on her desk. He saw her look at it before she crumpled it up and handed it back to him. He smirked before walking to the front of the class and uncrumpled the paper. It was two stick figures having sex on a desk. One that was obviously the male going at with a bubble saying the name �Cum Kagome� while the female took it with a blissful expression on her face and a sign on the desk that said his name. He had been hearing the rumors and it was decided amongst the principal and himself that they wouldn�t deny it to anyone who asked if it was true.
Turning he faced the class �it seems you all heard the rumor, am I correct?� he saw them all nod �would you all like to know the truth?� again they all nodded �very well then I will be honest and clear up those pesky rumors� he reached out a hand and Kagome got up and walked over to him. The class gasped as he pulled her in close and kissed her forehead. He then looked at his class �Ms. Higurashi and I have been together for about four months now. The principal knows this as well as a letter has already been sent to your parents, they should have received mail about this situation last week. Because of this situation I will not be teaching after this year� he saw as his class frowned at the thought of him leaving.
�Are you going to teach somewhere else then, Mr. Taisho?� one student called out.
He shook his head �no I will not, I will be going back to my original job before I started teaching� he smirked �it pays a lot more than this job�
The class laughed while some girls gave angry, hateful looks towards his girl. No doubt they were very jealous of her because she was the only one who got to be with him. He knew all the girls wished for a chance with him, but now he was no longer available. �I also forgot to mention that Higurashi is pregnant with my child� the class gave a surprised gasp as they stared at her completely shocked; they weren�t expecting to hear that. He saw how some of those angry looks grew more hateful �Those of you ladies who do not like what I have said I say this once and once only� he gave them a cold look to show that he was completely serious �she is a little over three months pregnant, stress for her is not healthy for the baby. The principal as well as the school board are allowing us to stay in the school since the year is basically out. They have agreed that anyone who starts teasing, harassing or trying to pick a fight with Higurashi will find themselves in the office faster than they can blink. Your parents will be called and there will be a strong talk if you graduate or not, am I understood?� he withheld a chuckle as he saw the girls stop the nasty looked, gulp, and nod their heads. He then allowed Kagome to go back to her seat �now let�s continue since we have that interruption out of the way�
Soon it was lunch time and Kagome went to the cafeteria to get some food. She smiled when she saw Shippo waiting by the doors for her and walked up to him �what brings you here today?�
He smiled at her �I figured I would bring you a healthy lunch� he looked back at the cafeteria �they can�t have very many healthy foods for someone eating for two� he turned back to her and they went to go sit down. Together they ate in comfortable silence. When they were almost done two girls approached them with nasty looks.
�So you�ve slept with Mr. Taisho?� one asked in a snobby tone �was he any good?�
Kagome looked at them and gave a small glare �I�m not one to kiss and tell�
�What on earth does he see in a girl like you?� the other asked.
Kagome propped one arm on the table to rest her head on it; she knew they were trying to goad her into a fight, but she wasn�t going to fight in her condition �you�ll have to ask him�
Both girls narrowed their eyes darkly at her as she didn�t seem at all bothered by what they were saying. The first girl smirked �so is that how you�ve been getting good grades? Sleeping with the teacher? I bet you really aren�t pregnant you just said that to him so you could pass his class�
�Wouldn�t you like that to be true� she giggled �think about it girls. If it was beginning of the year and I slept with a teacher and then said I was pregnant it wouldn�t matter if I got good grades, I�d be expelled from the school�
�So you just picked the right time to say you were pregnant, I�ve bet you�ve been sleeping with teachers to keep up your grades� continued the first one.
Shippo turned to face them, drawing their attention to him. He gave one of his smirks that the girls seem to like as they seemed to have forgotten about his mother �hello there ladies�
�Hi� they both said dreamily
�I couldn�t help over hear the way you were speaking to this girl I�m sitting next to� he spoke in a smooth sexy tone.
They both nodded before the first girl spoke �yea she slept with a teacher to boost her grades and is now saying she�s knocked up by one of the teachers she slept with�
�Oh really?� he said as they again nodded to him like love sick teens, he stood up and took each of their hands �how rude of me, I haven�t introduced myself� he placed a kiss on each of their hands �my name is Shippo Taisho� he heard them gasp before lifting his head to smirk at them �my father is Sesshoumaru Taisho�
Both girls retracted their hands and looked at him nervously as he rose to his full height again �y-your Mr. Taisho�s son?� questioned the second girl.
He gave a nod �yes I am, I�m told often that we look like brothers, could you not realize?�
�And you know this tramp?� questioned the first girl shocked, ignoring his question.
He glared �I must have been confused. I thought you girls were the tramps� they gasped, horrified �after all the way I saw you girls both gushing over me I would think you wanted a threesome with me or something� he took a step towards them �now let�s get one thing clear, I know for a fact my father has explained to everyone in his classes that the rumor of him and Kagome are true and that she was not to be bothered for it was not healthy for the baby, plus I know even the other teachers have mentioned that in their classrooms to anyone who asked�
The second girl glared �how do you even know she�s pregnant?� her voice was quivering �she could be lying!�
He laughed �I would know better than anyone, I�m the one that took her to find out, so I think I would know better than you girls� he looked back at his mother who was trying to hold in her laughter �didn�t my father say he and the school agreed that anyone who bothered you run the risk of not graduating this year?� she gave a nod before looking back at the shocked girls �maybe I should have a word with him about this incident�
Both girls looked at each other before quickly apologizing to Kagome and running off down the hall. Kagome then broke out laughing �that was very amusing Shippo�
He sat down again next to her and chuckled �that was entertaining�
Both chuckled over it as four people walked over. Kagome turned her head and smiled at them �Hojo, Ayume, Yuka, Eri, hi guys�
Eri quickly walked up to her �we�ve heard the rumors, is it true you�re pregnant?�
�And you carry Mr. Taisho�s baby?� added Ayume.
Kagome gave a nod �it�s all true�
They gasped �what would possess you to sleep with an older man?� asked Eri.
She just smiled at them �I fell in love with him�
Yuka gave her a worried look �I hope he didn�t use you, are you sure he loves you too Kagome?�
She gave a nod �quite positive�
Hojo smiled �then I�m happy to hear the news, when are you due?�
�Not for another 5 months at least� happy they were understanding about this.
Ayume made it so she was an inch away from her face �do you know what you�re having?�
Kagome laughed as she pushed her friend back a bit �no not yet and I�m not sure I want to know, I�m not going to love it any less�
Yuka smiled �you�ll make sure you tell us when the baby is born right?�
She gave a nod �of course, I�m not at the shrine anymore I�m living with Sesshoumaru and his son�
Everyone turned to look at Shippo and it was Hojo who asked �you are Mr. Taisho�s son?�
Shippo gave a nod of his head before looking at the girls �my name is Shippo, it�s nice to finally meet Kagome�s friends I�ve heard so much about you all� he looked at his watch �I hate to seem rude, but the bell is about to go� he looked at his mother �shall I walk you to class?�
Kagome smiled as she stood up �sure� she looked at the others �I�ll let you guys know when I�m free and you all can come over and we�ll have a movie night�
They all nodded and watched her walk away.
That night, after supper, Kagome smiled as Shippo cleared the table while Sesshoumaru had gone to make some phone calls to his company �that was great Shippo�
�No problem� he grinned as he set the last of the dishes in the sink before walking over to her and bending down, leaning in and placing an ear on her stomach. He smiled as he could hear the faint sound of a heart beat while Kagome stroked his hair �it�s going to be interesting when the baby is born�
She gave a soft �hmm� while continuing to stroke his hair �I suppose it is�
�I�ve never really seen you or father around an infant before� he said �and I can�t wait to see what my sibling looks like�
Kagome still found it strange to hear the kitsune calling the taiyoukai father, but slowly he had been doing it more around her as well as calling her mother. She suppose he felt like he had the parents he had wanted when he was little and was even talking like the baby growing in her stomach was going to be his actual brother or sister. It made her very happy to hear that �I�m sure he or she will be cute no matter what and I know they are going to love their big brother�
He looked up at her and smiled �I hope so�
�I know so� she responded. She turned her head when she heard a knock at the door and both got up to answer it. Opening the door Kagome gasped in surprise �Kouga! Ayame! What brings you two over?�
The wolf chuckled �well I said I�d see you again and I�d bring Ayame with me� he laughed as she moved to the side to let them in �Sesshoumaru asked me to come over so we could talk about what to do with everything now that he�s coming back� he answered her question �I figured I would bring Ayame over so you two could get reacquainted�
Ayame smiled brightly and quickly gathered Kagome up in a hug �it�s so great to see you again! Kouga told me that Inuyasha said you were in the future, but I just found too hard to believe� she took a step back �but here to are, you look just the same as you did back then� she took another full size view �but there is something different about you�
Arms wrapped around her as a deep and smooth voice spoke �it could be that motherly glow a woman gets when she is expecting�
Kouga stared as Sesshoumaru kept his arms around Kagome, shocked �expecting?�
Ayame shot Kouga a glare �you idiot that means she�s pregnant� she then turned back to her excitedly �congratulations!� she grabbed the girl away from the taiyoukai �come you have to tell me everything�
Sesshoumaru watched as the girls disappeared then glanced back at the wolf �let�s go speak in my study� he guided the ookami up the stairs and entered the first door on the right. Inside the room it looked just like a mini office. It held a desk and chair, computer, filing cabinet, and a couch. Stepping behind his desk he took out a small bottle of crown royal and poured himself and the wolf a glass.
Kouga took the glass as he sat on the couch and gave a content sigh �so it�s finally been done, you must be happy� he glanced at the taiyoukai before taking a sip of his drink and chuckled �bet you weren�t expecting this turn of events, so how far along is she?�
�Four months� he replied.
The wolf�s eyes widened and he coughed on his drink �four months!� he spoke shocked �that means when I saw her she was��
Sesshoumaru gave a nod �though we didn�t know it then�
�Wow� he said surprised �I thought you�d be waiting awhile before she even considered doing something like that with anybody�
�Hnn� the taiyoukai replied �the reason I called you here is not to talk about that, but to discuss my return. I have been absent a long time and once they know I�m back it is going to cause a field day in the press�
�You got that right� Kouga said as he took another sip �they are still asking me where you ran off to and if you�re ever coming back�
Sesshoumaru sat down in his chair �we will have to hold a press conference for the media and answer all their annoying questions�
�Are you going to mention Kagome?� he asked.
�I would like to leave her out of this, but eventually she is going to be found out� the dog reasoned �most likely since they will be resuming their efforts to try and get a photo of me and put it in the papers and once that happens the school will realize who�s been teaching in their school and go running to the press with their story. It just might be best to bring everything out into the open and the conference then to let them find out and start wild stories�
Meanwhile in the kitchen, Kagome had made her and Ayame both a drink of tea. It was nice to see the wolf girl all grown up and she seemed much more mature and calmer then she did back then. Ayame had mentioned that Kouga had taken her for a mate 20years after everything was completely settled. Together they had about 20 children, most grown up and with children of their own.
Ayame smiled �I can�t believe Sesshoumaru turned out to be your history teacher that is too funny� she giggled.
Kagome laughed too �no kidding, I couldn�t believe it when I first saw it was him I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me�
�So explain to me how you and Sesshoumaru� she gave a wink �you know�
She blushed �well I�m still trying to figure that out my self, it seemed it happened all so fast�
Ayame watched her �I really haven�t seen too much of his emotions since I don�t see him very often, next to never really, so you have to tell me, what was his reaction to the delightful bundle of news?�
�First he was surprised� Kagome said as she thought back to it �then he was quite happy about the idea� she gave a small chuckle �but I think Shippo is the happiest, he�s been quite fussy over me, just like a mother hen�
�Have not!� he called from the living room.
She gave a playful glare in the direction of the voice before lowering hers �he has to�
�Have not!� he yelled again.
Both girls started laughing and it was a few minutes until they calmed down �so how did the school take to the news of you being pregnant?�
Kagome took a sip of her tea �since it�s my last year and the school year is practically over, they�re letting me continue with my studies�
�I heard one of the teachers there had a psychotic break down� the wolf playfully narrowed her eyes �I guess he was raving about monsters invading his home and threatening to kill him for invading their territory�
Kagome simply responded with �Sesshoumaru�s fault�
�What is my fault?� said person asked as he entered the kitchen.
She looked at him �if your hearing is as good as Shippo�s you know exactly what I�m talking about�
He smirked as he sat down next to her and kissed her cheek �yes well serves him right�
�Didn�t have to send him to the psycho ward� she commented.
�He was the one who was raving about monsters instead of keeping his mouth shut� he defended.
Kouga laughed �well you certainly make a fine couple you two�
�I can only imagine what they would have been like if Sesshoumaru was still his emotionless self� Ayame commented.
Sesshoumaru growled a little, but stopped when Kagome placed a hand on his lap. The group visited till late at night before they finally decided to call it a night when Kagome started yawning. She apologized and hoped to see them again soon. They promised, but both apparently lived busy schedules and weren�t even home much. They promised that if they didn�t see them before then they would definitely find time to visit when the baby was born. Ayame promised to at least call once in awhile and for Kagome to do the same. Even if they couldn�t see each other much they could still talk.
Shippo showed himself when the two left �well I�m going to bed, good night mother� he said as he kissed her cheek before looked at the taiyoukai �night dad, see you in the morning�
Sesshoumaru gave a nod and watched him go up the stairs as he then turned to the girl beside him �come, let us go to bed as well� and led her upstairs to the room at the furthest end of the hall. Both stripped down to nothing and climbed in to bed, the taiyoukai holding her close. He�d taken to placing a hand on her stomach, which always made her smile. He gave her a quick kiss and smiled at her.
�So what did you and Kouga speak about?� she asked.
�I am going to have to explain my long absence from my own company� he started �we decided that we are going to hold a press conference once school is done and over with�
She snuggled closer to him �it�s going to seem weird to see and hear you talking about business rather than school�
�You will grow used to it� he spoke �I told you my company is international, right?� he saw her nod �that makes me very popular amongst the media also since I am one of the richest bachelors in the world�
�You�ve told me� she said confused �what are you getting at?�
He kissed her lips again �Kouga and I have decided that at the conference it would be in everyone�s best interest that I mention about you and your pregnancy so that none of that information can be used in the wrong hands�
�Oh� she said nervously �do I have to be there?�
�We will see� he said �we are still working on the details of how we want this to work. We�d rather let the press know that I am off the �market� so to speak than have them find out�
Kagome gave a nod as she covered up a yawn �okay then, night�
He didn�t even bother to reply seeing she was basically already asleep. He pulled her as close as he could before he too fell asleep.
Soon it was already the night of prom. Kagome had been nervous about going, but Sesshoumaru insisted everything would be fine and that at least her old friends would be there. She had calmed down enough for her to get dressed in beautiful green dress that curved to her body before flowing out for the dress stopping before touching the floor. She wore green high heels and had done her hair up in a bun, leaving a few strands to come down around her. Needles to say they arrived a little late as the taiyoukai found her absolutely beautiful and irresistible and felt the need to express that before they left the house.
Kagome held Sesshoumaru�s arm as they entered the hall where the dance was being held. He looked at her with a smirk before leaning down �it will be fine�
�I don�t know how you talked me into coming� she snapped.
He sighed, mood swings �because I felt you shouldn�t miss out on your prom�
�Well I�m here can we go home now� she insisted.
He kissed her cheek �stay for a few dances, and then we can go�
She gave a small smile �okay then, but only a few dances�
�Your last dance of the night will be with me, after that we�ll go home� he explained as they walked further into the hall.
Immediately all of Kagome�s friends came rushing over before whisking her away and leaving Sesshoumaru to go stand over by the teachers. One of Kagome�s English teachers walked over to him, he was young man with wavy black hair down to his chin �you gotta tell me Sesshoumaru�
�Tell you what, Gukin?� he asked glancing at him from the corner of his eye
�How you got with one of these girls of course� Gukin said with a wink before he groaned �they don�t even give me the time of day�
Sesshoumaru turned to look at him �that is because you try to ask the girls out in the middle of class, you�re lucky the school board hasn�t kicked you out already for your behavior�
�Yeah yea, well� he sighed �so how do you know Higurashi anyways?�
�We have prior history together� he replied.
Gukin looked at him �really? How so?�
�She knew my brother and my son� he answered �she and my brother and a thing for each other�
�I didn�t know you had a brother� the man looked surprised.
�He passed away some time ago� he responded
Gukin gave an �oh� before he gasped �I remember being told Higurashi wouldn�t be at school for awhile cause there was a tragedy in her family or something like that, was that the reason?�
Sesshoumaru gave a nod �she took it pretty hard since she was so close to him� he took a glance out on the floor and saw the girl he was looking for dancing with her Hojo friend.
�Wow� Gukin said solemnly �that would be a hard thing to go through, don�t you miss your brother?�
�We never really got along much growing up� he replied �but we were starting to get along near the end of his life�
�Bummer� He stood up straight �but are you sure she isn�t with you because you might remind her of your brother?�
Sesshoumaru gave a smirk and he looked at the man �if you were to ever have met my brother you�d see we are nothing alike�
A female teacher walked up to them and wrapped her arms around the taiyoukai�s arm �excuse me, I just need to borrow him a moment� and dragged him away to a darker corner, she smirked up at him �so I heard you�re not going to be teaching anymore, is that correct?�
Sesshoumaru gave a nod �you are correct, what is it you want, Mika?�
�Oh come now� she giggled �this is probably the last time we�ll see each other and well I�ve always been rather fond of you�
�Have you not heard?� he backed away from her �I am with someone�
She smiled and nodded �yes I�ve heard, you�ve slept with a student� she gave a sly wink �I didn�t know you were into that, so would you like an upgrade and sleep with a teacher?�
He glared �I think not�
Mika looked shocked �w-what? Why?�
�I am with that student because I love her� he answered sternly.
She glared, angry with being rejected �listen here, I�m better than that girl any day. All the teachers and male students would love a chance to get with me; I�m offering you a chance�
�One which I will pass on� he said as he turned around to leave �I love Kagome�
�I heard you knocked her up� she called out �is that why you�re staying with her? You seem like a proper man that would never do anything foolish, sleeping with a student; I call that foolish, impregnating her that is beyond foolish�
Sesshoumaru turned around with a glare �get this straight Mika I never do anything I don�t want to. If I didn�t want to be with Kagome I wouldn�t have slept with her, I am proud to say she is having my child�
�Sesshoumaru?�
He turned around, surprised to see Kagome standing there and he felt himself stiffen �Kagome�
She smiled at him as she walked over to him �can I have my dance now?�
He relaxed and smiled �of course, I would love to have that dance� and he led her out on to the dance floor as a slow song started. He held her close before leaning down a bit and speaking softly �so how long were you standing there?�
Kagome smiled brightly as she rested her head against his chest �long enough to know that Ms. Takuta is a whore that can�t take no for an answer�
He chuckled �indeed she is� he kissed the top of her head �did you have a nice time with your friends?� she nodded against him �glad you came?� she nodded again.
�Mr. Taisho?�
They stopped dancing to see a few students looking at him. One of the students stepped forward and handed him a card �a few of us students got together and signed this card for you since we know you are leaving�
Sesshoumaru gave a nod and took the card �thank you�
A shy female student then stepped forward, holding a teddy bear �some of the girls pitched in money and we bought this for when the baby is born� she held it out.
Kagome smiled and accepted the teddy bear �thank you, this will go right in the crib with the baby�
Suddenly all the student said in union �we�ll miss you Mr. Taisho, we hope our paths cross again�
He chuckled as he placed an arm around his girl �I�m sure our paths will cross again at some point, enjoy the rest of the dance� he looked down �shall we go now?�
She gave a nod �sounds good� she looked at all of them with a bow �thank you for the bear� and followed the taiyoukai out.
Once near the hummer, Sesshoumaru pulled her into his embrace and held her close to him �marry me�
She gasped �w-what?�
�Marry me� he repeated �I want us to get married and before you even think it; not because your pregnant or because it will look good when I tell the company about you, but because I want to, because I love you�
Kagome held onto him as a few tears left her eyes �I love you too, yes, yes I will marry you�
He pulled away to look down at her �good, then let�s go home so we can practice for the wedding night�
She laughed �haven�t we had enough practice? I think we�ve mastered it if the life growing in me has anything to say�
Both got in the hummer �well we can always use the practice�
It was another 3 weeks before the press conference was held. Sesshoumaru and everyone else waited behind the curtains while the press was being escorted into the building. Kouga and Ayame came to make sure everything went well. Both youkai had informed Kagome that this was going to be a big one because no one had ever seen the owner of the company except in the business meeting where media was not allowed, so this would be the first time seeing him. Needless to say this made her very nervous with not knowing what to expect from them.
�They seem very excited� said Shippo as he took a peak �they�re all trying to figure out why they are here� he chuckled �I can�t wait to see their faces when they learn�
�Shippo, get away from the curtains before someone sees you!� snapped Kagome.
He smiled as he did as he was told while saying sarcastically �yes mother�
One of the men working back stage snickered as he leaned in close to the kitsune �how does it feel to have a girl younger than you try to be your mother?� he joked.
Shippo merely smiled �as far as I�m concerned she is my mother�
The man raised an eyebrow �where do you get that weird thinking kid? Isn�t she younger than you?�
�Technically yes� he answered �but I don�t really remember my real mom and Kagome there I�ve known growing up, she has always been looking out for me, so you see, she is my mother�
The man chuckled �this is going to be an interesting conference I can tell�
Shippo turned around and went to sit next to Kagome who was fidgeting nervously with a piece of crumpled paper. He leaned over; placing his head on her shoulder �it�ll be fine�
�You�ve done this before; I haven�t� she retorted �I�ve never been in front of cameras before and especially of learning just how important and popular Sesshoumaru is, only makes me more nervous that I might screw something up�
�Hey, don�t worry� he said calmly �you just get to sit there and look beautiful and make all the girls out there jealous that they never got a chance with him, in fact none have ever come close� he chuckled �and the guys will be envious because they couldn�t score a hot girl like you when they get into their late 30s��
Sesshoumaru went and sat on the other side of her and kissed her cheek �they�re ready to start, relax, everything will be fine�
Kouga took his place in front of the podium as the curtains started to open. He looked out into the crowd of people and saw his wife sitting in the front giving him the thumbs up. He smiled at her before addressing everyone else �hello and thank you all for being here today, I know you are all curious as to why we called you here today. Please hold all questions till the end and they will be answered just as they always are� everyone chuckled �now the reason for today is that Sesshoumaru Taisho the founder of the company has been absent for a some time�
�So what if he has! None of us have even seen him!� a man shouted from somewhere in the crowd.
Kouga scanned the crowd �can we hold all comments till the very end as well. There is a reason for this meeting and I am more than willing to explain everything, but if I am to have more comments thrown my way before we finish we shall end this meeting of the press here and now� no one said anything and he continued �so back to the point; Mr. Taisho has been gone for some time and that I have been taking care of the company in his absence with the help of his son Shippo Taisho, who�ve you all met� he said looking at the kitsune off to his left who simply nodded his head. Looking back at the audience he smiled �well it is my privilege to say that you are all going to meet Mr. Taisho today�
Almost immediately the media rose from their seats and began flashing photos and speaking at once. Kouga then stepped down and Shippo took the stand. The kitsune motioned for everyone to be seated again before he spoke �As Mr. Taro said you are all going to meet my father and founder of this company today� he paused for a moment �I know you�ve all wondered where he�s been to and he�ll be explaining that and more here. May I have the honor of introduction Sesshoumaru Taisho�
Sesshoumaru patted Kagome�s knee as he stood to walk up to the podium. He gave Shippo a handshake before taking his place in front of the large mass of media people. He gave a nod of his head and let them take some photos before he spoke �good day everyone, I am Mr. Taisho, founder of this company. I know you have been wondering about my long absence and where I�ve been I had decided I needed to step back and give my son a chance so while he learned how the company works I took a job teaching as a teacher at a local high school� he saw some one raise their hand and seeing the curious look the person gave decided to answer it �I can see you have a question that needs an answer?�
The girl nodded as the group went quiet �yes, Mr. Taisho, why have you never shown your face before? Why now?�
He gave a nod �A very good question and one that deserves an answer. I am a man who enjoys his privacy. I wanted no part in the media light except for my name in the papers. I did not want to go walking down the street and have paparazzi following me wherever I went just to get thee photo to better their career� he looked at everyone �but I�ve realized that is what comes with the job of owning a large company such as this one and it is not fair that my employees suffer media attention constantly just because I enjoy my privacy. So I am going to tell you who I am and what I expect from the media from now on if we are to avoid problems� he saw them all paying close attention �I enjoy my privacy, I strongly dislike being followed or those who trespass into my private life. If you want; from this point on you can set up an interview and I will answer your questions as I see fit. I will give you photos that you can publish in the papers and magazines in exchange that if you see me walking down the street that you leave me alone and keep your camera put away. The most important reason why I say this is that I do not want my future children to grow up having to be scared there�s going to be paparazzi outside the house. I want them to grow up out of the media light, do we all agree?� he saw them all nod and watched as he turned to have a girl come up to join him �now I would like you all to meet my fiancé, Kagome Higurashi, she is now close to 5 months pregnant with my third child and the first of my blood� he heard them all gasp as they took some photos of them together before he looked at them �now I will answer any questions you have, one at a time please�
�How long have you two known each other?� a girl asked near the back.
�For a few years� he replied.
�When is the wedding?� another girl asked out.
�A date has not been set, but it will be after our child is born� he answered.
A man stood up �you said you had three children, but besides your son and the one in her stomach, we have never heard the mention of another child�
�That would be because she passed away many years ago. I do not bring her up often�
�How�d she die?� a girl asked.
�Her heart simply gave out� he answered, his voice strained �let�s back on topic�
A few people groaned wanting to know more about the mystery daughter, but move on they did.
�A question for Miss Higurashi!� a man shouted �how old are you?�
She smiled knowing this question was coming �I am 18 and just finished high school�
�Mr. Taisho! Mr. Taisho, how could you sleep with such a young girl who�s younger than even your son?� one girl asked.
Kagome placed an arm on his shoulder �I will answer that one. As he has said we have previous history together and while many here today may think this is wrong because I am so young compared to him, but to us it is very right and for you to respect our decision�
A lot of the press seemed to respect her as she spoke calmly and nicely while still holding a strong authoritive voice.
�How�d you two meet?� continued the questioning from another woman.
Sesshoumaru smiled as he held her close �we met through my brother who has passed on and eventually we lost touch until it turned out she was my student where I was teaching�
A few girls �awed� at the story before more questions were asked. After an hour of questioning they finally called quits and anyone else with questions were to set up an interview.
Kagome breathed out as they finally left �that was far too long for my liking�
�Indeed for me as well� the taiyoukai agreed.
Shippo laughed at the two �well you have to get used to it since now you�re going to be in the media light�
Sesshoumaru grunted �don�t remind me�
Kagome smiled as she turned to look at him �you�ll get used to it and besides in a few months you�ll be too busy to worry about media�
He chuckled �I suppose so�
Shippo smiled at the thought �I can�t wait till the baby is born�

Well one more chapter to go. I hope everyone enjoys it. I will have it updated hopefully next week and for sure by the end of the month. I well then be taking a short break cause I'm moving to another town with my bf. Don't worry I'm currently working on 3 new stories to add.
