Sesshoumaru lazily rose into awareness, his body activated even more slowly. When consciousness became fully alert his aura told him he was home. Alone in his bedroom, with no immediate danger in the surrounding area. Oddly though he had woken to such a warm and mellow satisfaction that only managed to relax him deeper into the futon.

Sesshoumaru had never felt so...content. Even compared to his last Heat, where his beast had forced him into the submission of bloodlust for the first time. When he later woke in a puddle of blood, feeling quite nice, Jaken had informed him of his beasts outing. Apparently several northern villages had been demolished at his claws and even Narakus pungent blood had lingered on his body with the humans.

The light scent of Narakus miasma passing under his nose triggered his memories of last night and he became consumed in his passing thoughts.

He had been by a river downwind and to any onlooker it would seem he was just staring off across the banks. A soft wind brushed against his mokomoko and played amongst his silver strands of hair. But there was a raging war being battled within his minds landscape of a forest. His claws viciously striking against the razered talons of his demon.

Fighting aggressively for dominance his beast snarled "submit to this one Sesshoumaru!" Finishing with a slash across his chest and through his midsection. It left Sesshoumaru breathless as blood burst from the cut.

Sesshoumaru glared at the giant dog demon pacing back and forth as he stood. "This night will be no different than the last."

"We must go to mate." The dog whined before sitting down. Growling at his alter ego.

"This one will find a mate during our last Heat. No sooner." He remarked, wiping blood from his chin where it had splashed up in the frenzy.

"Mate is found. She calls to us now." The beast stood looking defiantly down at his master.

"The scent from a miko in heat will not lead us to our mate." His amber eyes shone brightly with great superiority.

Laying down in defeat he huffed at the thought of having to wait until next season to claim her. He wanted her! He has wanted her since that first moment in his father's tomb. A nigen woman of all, that had managed to claim his father's sword.Though the thought of having a Mikos blood gracing the insides of his belly had been the initial reason. Time had changed his perspective and he wanted her to become their mate now. He would have no other.

Sesshoumaru sighed in disgust at his others lust for his little brothers wench. Though she was a miko it was nothing worth getting into when the consequence of breeding would arise. When he mated with his one it would be just that, his one and nothing less. Or atleast mate a bitch that could give full blooded heirs and bring more land under his reign. He would have no other. And the bitch was apart of another pack. His brothers leftovers at that.

Just then the smell of sex and Naraku splashed into their nose on a strong ggust of air. The demons ears pricked up and turned sideways as he bowed his canine head. "Then bloodlust is given?" Sesshoumaru gave in to his request and allowed control to their shared body. Hoping Narakus quick death might suffice.

They had reacted by punching a hole through the spider demons naked chest. Their claw just missing the spine on its way through and dug halfway into the bark beneath the poisonous flesh. While the other nails caught Narakus throat against the tree trunk.

Narakus tongue snaked out spraying miasma down its length as it slithered its' way around his stolen Dragon arm. It melted the weaker scales revealing pieces of muscle and Sessshoumarus grip slackened. Having him pinned allowed the half breeds oder to fester in the space. Along with a strong minty scent of arousal. Mixed within the death tainted smell of the mikos blood. The foul creatures hands were coated with it. In that moment Sesshoumaru was abruptly caged to the back of his own mind as his beast forcefully took complete control.

Sesshoumaru was unable to move from the darkness until his beasts hunger was met. And only darkness occurred while Sesshoumaru was trapped from the intensive need allowing his beast the strength to hold him there.

The memory was so vivid that Sesshoumaru still smelled the blood of his brothers wench. With the minty tingle of her sex coating the back of his throat. He almost spat, to think his tastebuds didn't find her ningen oder offensive.

Raising his arm to take inventory of the damage he realized it was no longer there. He assumed it disintegrated in the battle he must of had with Naraku. Then made a mental note to kick Jaken for finding such a weak replacement. The toad would imediatly begin a search for a suitable arm with another swift kick out of a window for emphasis.

Rubbing his eyes in annoyance with his only hand he stilled getting a strong whiff of winter and mint. It tingled down the back of his tongue causing him to swallow. Just now noticing the stout taste of blood coating the inside of his mouth. Aside from the poison underlayed in it's flavor. It was absolutly delicious.

At the sound of movement beside him he instantly reacted. The moment a rustling noise of bed sheets sounded he threw the blanket aside and found himself crouched over a female with his claw wrapped around her throat. In an instant he barely recognised the big blue eyes, though her face was filthy and sunken in, he knew her.

"Miko..." he growled. "Why are you in this Sesshoumarus' presence?" She blinked a few times past the glare of daylight but otherwise laid still, barely breathing.

After waiting for an answer his eyes landed on the metal wrapped around her throat. He tightened his grip just missing the collar and cutting off her oxygen supply completly. She closed her eyes and her body began to spasm. He loosened his grip from her neck deciding for another tactic. The fresh scent of blood was seeping out of a closing hole in her torso."Why is your blood staining this One's bed sheets?" He called his acid and allowed a few drops into the wound. It would only take a few seconds for his poison to enter her system then she would scream the answers at him.

He waited a couple of minutes as her body twisted and bowed under him. He couldn't help but notice how naked each of them felt as her skin rubbed against his person. The breath of silance from her open mouth brought the stronger smell of miasma. Even breathing in a massive amount of Narakus mixture It wouldn't have taken her voice away. He moved himself off of her to inspect the rest of the mangled body. There was so much blood, it was near the only thing he could smell besides his own being. But in a few of her worst cuts Inuyasha and even Narakus nails had left a scent of what torcher had been done to her skin. And even their teeth had opened a few wounds on her chest.

He thought it odd how thick his scent was on her even if she had spent the night in his bed. It was hard to decipher her oder from everything else but the death scent lingered upon her flesh. Which one of them had been the cause of her worst wounds? Why did he care what had happened to her human flesh.

She blacked out and her heartbeat slowed to a soft thud echoing into his ears. In a matter of seconds he was standing in his bath chambers getting more disgusted with the stronger smell of her resent orgasms cloaking the air. He then stalked across the floors and out of his bed chamber. The hallways were all empty and when he made it through the kitchen he saw the workers huddled in a corner. Staring hard at a rock on the floor until he was well past all of them and exited into the courtyard. He met his captain and said, "move the miko to another room. Clean mine." Then crossed its pathway to the entrance of the forest before he stilled.

"Do not leave mate." Was softly growled in his head.

"What have you done?" Sesshoumaru asked just realizing why his scent had been so strongly intertwined with the Mikos'.

"We saved mate. She is ours now." He visualized a giant dog demon sitting down and sighed."She needs us."

"This Sesshoumaru will never accept her." He bowed his head in defeat. "She will not be treated as mine..."

"Needs of mate shall be met nonetheless."

After a moments pause to weigh the situation Sesshoumaru finally spoke. "Negotiations are in order. You can have your time, but this one still has a castle to run." He began rubbing his eyes in agitation. Her scent invaded his nose and he glared at the dog.

"Mate is mine for the nights. But this day she is mine."

"At dusk she is yours for two days."

"Acceptable." The demon bowed its head in agreement before vanishing as Sesshoumaru gained control.

The first thing he did was go back in through the kitchen ordering some meat to be taken up immediately. He made it back through the widow lightened hallways higher into his castle. No one could be found until he closed the door of his study. Only metting Ryku's gaze in passing into the bathing chamber.

He scrubbed vigorously at his flesh getting every scent he could off his body. Even throwing some body soap across the room. Its peppermint spice was agitating his breathing. In a mater of moments he was dried and dressed in his usual attire, except with his armor and mokomoko. When he was finished he sat down at his desk and feasted on the fresh meat sitting in front of him aside from a bowl of water and towels he used later when finished.

After enjoying it's blood to coat his mouth and grace the scent of his claws, he looked to the Neko demon.

Ryku was grinning to much for Sesshoumarus liking. And she was sitting to relaxed in the chair across from his desk." Your last two days have been busy."

He sighed at the amount of time that had passed where he had been unable to take back control from his beast. "And."

The smirk was instantly gone and he answered, "your mother is downstairs. She demands to know why a human is here in the mating chambers."

"And what of Rin?" He asked dismissing the thought of seeing that demoness right now. He raised from his chair and crossed the room. He was pulling various books off the shelfs before stacking them on his desk after an elder hawk demon had removed the dishes.

At this time she chose to stand meeting her alpha at eye level and spoke. "Your beast attacked her when she had neared the girl you were carrying. Rin is fine but she won't leave her room."

The fact that he hadn't surfaced when Rin had come around meant his beast had been in super defence mode. Just lashing out at his ward his demon either feared for his own life or that of the Mikos. And now in such little time he was mated. And he had recieved nothing but bad news. This wasn't supposed to happen for another year.

Just then a sharp volt tightened Sesshoumarus airway and forced his nails to dig into the pages of his father's journal. And as soon as the pain touched him it was gone. But his guard had taken notice and was about to ask something as a hard knock sounded at the door. With a nod from hef lord she opened it and quickly reported the Mikos conscious state and how she won't let anyone near her.

After another quick bolt of cramping shock he ordered the servants to leave her bedroom. Only Ryku noticed the way he called the bedchamber hers. After looking over a couple paragraphs in a few other books the only thing he found was that her life was tied to his. And the pain of the others mate will only be felt through strong bonds.

It was the last thing he read before going through a separate passageway that lead straight to the room she had been moved into. The giant bed was empty and it took a second before his eyes saw her crouched form. She was in the shadows behind the light that emerged from the single window.

"Miko, you have injuries that need to be looked at." He bardly saw the shaking of her head before he crossed the room to kneel down on one leg next to her small form.

Kagome hoped he understood when she pointed at the collar and pleaded with her eyes. Sesshoumaru understood that it might be the reason for her restrained voice. In a blurred instant he had reached up and easily broke the collar with his fingers. In the next instant he was propelled into the window from a strong burst of power.

The glass shattered as his body passed through becoming encased with a blanket of purity. When gravity started to pull he reached out catching the railing and the power abruptly shot down his body and through the rest of his kingdom.

It wasn't the intensity of the Mikos sudden burst but the fact that he was holding on with two hands, that had him hesitating. After a moment to realized it was indeed his arm he jumped over to solid ground and inspected the rest of it. It seemed to be his exact arm except down to the little black star at his elbow. Otherwise it was perfect and the claws were even sharper than before.

Stuck between being angry for her attack and humiliated at his lack of control to stop the onslaught that his nerves still felt. He decided to confront her, her voice should be back now and he would get his answers. He dismissed the thought of knowledge that she could have killed him in that attack. Though his arm was a nice surprise he didn't like how much power she seemed to posses.
+ please let me know what you think. This chapter took forever to feel right. I was hoping to show some drastic differances between fluffy and beast. And in that brutal chapter of inuyashas rape i was hoping to portray the overly emotional side of the poor hanyou. Sorry if ive displeased anyone so far but there are other great stories out there and im not pinning you to the wall making you read. But remember this is my first ever aff story. I would love coments or critiques on how this story is going or where it shouldn't go.+
