Loving My Enemy

A/N: Kagome has been taken prisoner by Inuyasha�s family and given to Inuyasha as a gift. She quickly becomes his personal sex slave and grows to hate him. Then as time goes by Kagome inexplicably finds herself falling in love with the same heartless hanyou that raped her. Please read and review!

Chapter 1: Fate Can Be So Cruel

Kagome Higurashi sat shivering in the corner of a small and dark cell. She was but seventeen years old and was the daughter of a ne mne monk. The young woman had been gathering medicinal herbs in the shrine�s garden when her world had come to a screeching halt.
(Begin flashback)

Kagome had been being watched by the great Lord Inutaisho of the Western Lands. Inutaisho was a greatly respected and feared inu youkai and was the undisputed ruler of the Western Lands. He had come upon the small shrine and immediately spotted Kagome in the garden. Kagome had instantly reminded him of his late human mate, Mariko, who had given him his youngest son Inuyasha. Inutaisho had raced down from the hillside and caught Kagome off guard. She had been so surprised by his sudden appearance that she hadn�t even been able to scream. He swept Kagome up into his strong arms knocking the basket of herbs from her hands and then quickly raced off towards his palace in the heart of the western lands.
Kagome struggled feebly in Inutaisho�s arms only serving to irritate the inu youkai. He merely pressed one of his thick fingers firmly against her pressure point in her neck making the world around her fade quickly into blackness. She hadken ken to find herself lying on her side in the tiny cell she was in now.
(End flashback)

A gruff voice startled her. � So I see you�re awake girl?�
�Y-yes I am. Where am I?�
�You are in my palace in the western lands girl.�
�W-who are you?�
�I am the great Lord Inutaisho. Who are you girl?�
�M-my n-name is K-kagome Higurashi. Might I ask why you brought me here?�
Inutaisho chuckled. � You may, but I do not have to tell you anything.� Kagome glanced down at her bare feet to keep from having to look into the lord�s piercing golden eyes. � However, I�m not that cruel young lady. You�ve been brought here because you are incredibly beautiful.� Kagome�s cheeks turned a light shade of pink at Inutaisho�s words.
�But what does my beauty have to do with me coming here?�
�You are a gift for my youngest son, Inuyasha. You will meet him in his chambers tonight my dear. I shall send down some maid servants to fetch you and clean you up. Do not disappoint my son Kagome, for it would not be a wise decision on your part.� Having said that the great inu youkai lord left her to wait for the maid servants. True to his word they showed up shortly after his departure to fetch her. Kagome allowed herself to be pulled to her feet and led to an unknown destination.
Her blue gray eyes grew wide when they focused on the large indoor hot springs located in the lower levels of the palace. Kagome tensed up when the maid servants began quickly peeling her miko�s clothing from her petite body. Once naked she stood there shivering from the cold. One of the maid servants spoke up. �Get into the hot springs milady, you must bathe.� Kagome nodded and eased her aching muscles into the hot water. She watched curiously as two bowls of freshly picked sakura blossoms were dumped into the bubbling and steamy water. Kagome began to scrub her body with a sponge that was placed into her small hands. She then dipped underneath the water and washed her long thick mane of raven hair. �Come now milady, it�s time for you to get dressed.�
Kagome carefully stepped out of the hot springs and was quickly wrapped in a light ivory colored cotton robe that came to rest at the middle of her creamy white thighs. She was then ushered into a nearby room and the robe was practically ripped from her body. Kagome shivered from the sudden exposure to the cool air. She was quickly dressed in a gorgeous and nearly sheer kimono that came to rest at her ankles. The kimono was a beautiful shade of silver with a solid black silk obi that held it securely closed. Kagome was pushed down into a chair at a vanity and the maid servants began working on styling her hair into an elegant bun with a few strands of raven hair framing her face.
Then a thin layer of powder was dusted onto her already radiant face to accent her natural beauty. As a finishing touch a heavenly smelling perfume was misted onto her body. �Oh milady, you look perfect. Prince Inuyasha is going to love you! Maybe you will be lucky enough that he will choose you as his life mate.� Kagome remained silent not really certain of she should respond to that statement. Lord Inutaisho entered the small chambers.
�Alright Kagome, it�s time for you to meet my son, Inuyasha. Let us journey to his chambers.� The walk down the long hallway to Inuyasha�s chambers was silent. Kagome�s heart was pounding loudly in her chest. She wondered silently to herself what would happen if Inutaisho�s son did not like her. Inutaisho opened the large wooden door and pushed Kagome inside. She turned around only to have the door quickly slammed in her face. Kagome turned back around slowly.
�H-hello? Inu Yasha?� A gruff voice made Kagome jump.
�Come over to the bed wench! I want to look at you!� Kagome hurried clumsily over to the large wrought iron bed and knelt down at once. She waited for Inuyasha to say something else but he remained silent his amber eyes piercing into her coldly.
