I will try to do a three part series out of it..

Strange meetings

Ayumi sighed deeply; she had promised
Kagome that she would go with her to the mall. She knew what was waiting, a
whole lot of whining. Kagome was always complaining about a certain boy named
Inuyasha, whining about him not taking her as girlfriend, or as Kagome put it,
he did not take her as mate. �Why should I care if Inuyasha was playing
around with this Sango? Is it really my problem Kagome?� she asked herself
and ventured into the shower and brushed off her own desires to have a certain
someone to care about. Although she did have a secret love, a special person
that she dreamed about, but she knew she could never have him. She had seen him
only once, it had been a brief moment in one of the towns many parks. Actually
she was not sure that she even had seen him, perhaps he only had been a product
of her over imaginary mind. �I mean, how many young men have long silvery
hair like that?� She sighed and rummaged through her closet for something to
wear. She found a light blue dress and put it on. It would do if she only was
going to walk around and around inside a mall all day.
Two hours later Ayumi was ready to go to
the mall. She made a call to Kagome to come and pick her up. She wanted to groan
when she saw Kagome look cheery as a bird in the spring. �This will be a
looong day.� She thought. Because every time Kagome had been this cheery she
had turn nasty a few hours later. Complaining, whining about that stupid dog
that had chosen her best friend and not her.

And sure enough, today was no exception.
Only this time she began much earlier. Ayumi shut her ears up and concentrated
on coursing between the people inside the mall. She saw a clothing store and she
stopped.

-
What do you say about trying on some fancy clothes? asked Ayumi, totally
ignoring the rantings about insensitive males and their treachery.

-
What?

-
Let�s try on some fancy clothes Kagome-chan, like we used to do when we
were younger.

-
Ok, that could be fun, smiled Kagome.
They went inside the store and Ayumi
took a deep breath when she realized that her little idea was going to leave her
a short peace without grumpy ramblings. Ayumi spotted a long black dress, it was
very simple and yet it looked glamorous. �Wow, I just have to try that on.�
She took it.

-
I�ll be right back, said Ayumi and walked inside a dressing room.
She had just put it on when she heard
yelling outside, Kagome was shrieking and Ayumi felt a cold hand grasp her
heart. She rushed outside and saw her friend argue with a tall male. He had long
black hair and his eyes looked like frozen amber. If it had not been for her
hysterical friend she would enjoy looking at him.

Kagome, what�s the matter? asked Ayumi and took hold of Kagome�s arm and
pulled her away just before she tried to scratch out his eyes.

LET ME GO!! I AM GOING TO KILL HIM!!
shouted Kagome.

-
Hey, take it easy lady, I don�t know who you are, but surely you don�t
want to kill me, snickered the male.
Ayumi shot a glance at him and for a
microsecond she was sure she could see his hair turn silver. But then it was
back to black again. �Ok, that was freaky.� Thought Ayumi and took a firm
hold on Kagome�s arm.

What happened here Kagome?

-
This asshole tried to kill Inuyasha, he is a fucking killing machine,
snarled Kagome. Her dark eyes flashed against the male.

-
What? Are you sure?

-
Your friend is obviously insane. I have never seen her before in my life,
and I have no clue what so ever who this Inuyasha is, said the man with a
taunting cold voice.

-
Shut the fuck up Sesshoumaru-sama, I know perfectly well who you are. And
if I had my bow and arrow here I would purify your demon ass to kingdom come,
sneered Kagome and tried to get out of Ayumi�s hold.

KAGOME-CHAN!!
shouted Ayumi and slapped Kagome light to get her to snap out of it.

-
Demon ass?? That was a new one, smiled the male. � I have been called
many things in my life, but demon ass, please�
Ayumi growled, he was not making this
any easier, that was for sure. But he seemed to ignore Kagome�s outburst and he
held Ayumi�s dark green eyes in a gaze. Once again she was sure she was seeing
things, because she saw a purple half moon on his forehead, and the next second
it was gone. �What the hell is this?�

Sir, it would be better if you left, said Ayumi and nodded towards the
exit.

-
Why? I have as much right to be here as you, he said.

-
Please, I am not sure why my friend is acting like this, but I don�t want
her to get into any trouble.

-
I will leave only if you let me take you to dinner, with that dress you
are wearing, he said and flashed a fanged grin.

-
WHAT??!!

-
Agree to have dinner with me and I will go away, he pushed.

-
What ever, ok.. I will have dinner with you, just get your �demon ass�
out of here now, snarled Ayumi and heard a small chuckle.

-
Then it is a date, he said and disappeared.
Ayumi took a deep breath and moved to
look into Kagome�s eyes and what she saw made her worry a lot. Her friend had
snapped. She took her wallet and through some money on the counter. For the
dress she said and helped Kagome out to her car.

-
Ayumi, why did you stop me? He is a demon, he is death in a handsome
disguise, mumbled Kagome absently.

-
Kagome-chan, you need some rest. Come I will take you home to your mother
ok?

-
My mother liked Inuyasha, you know..

-
Yes, I know.
The whole trip back Kagome mumbled
strange things. Things like magic wells, demons, half demons. �Poor Kagome,
this has caught up with her.� thought Ayumi as she parked the car and helped
Kagome to walk up the long stair to the Sunset Shrine.
She explained to Mrs. Higurashi about
what happened as soon as Kagome was cuddled in her bed. Mrs. Higurashi looked at
her daughter with concern and thanked Ayumi for her help.

Tell her I said good bye, said Ayumi.

-
I will Ayumi-chan. Thank you again.
Ayumi nodded and walked away. She took a
bus back to her place and felt very stupid, riding the bus in a fancy dress.
�O well, I am sure that I don�t meet him again. I mean, how could he know who I
am?� she thought and a small content smile grazed her lips.
