WARNING: I have never written yaoi before, but this idea has been in my head for weeks upon
weeks. It just wouldn’t leave me alone. It was beginning to keep me up at night screaming to be
written. I am not even a lover of yaoi, and the incest thing is beyond me as well. So why this has
plagued me so, is a mystery to me, but it was either write it down or let the fantasy continue to
roll around in my head. I beg no flames, I would be one to object to this pairing myself, so there
in lies my own dilemma.

Was it love that kept bringing him back? What was love? An emotional and psychological need
to be held, nurtured, and accepted. Is that what he was looking for when he came here?
Acceptance? Perhaps approval was his goal, but after all these years, he really didn’t know
anymore. It was a craving that ate away at his soul until he could deny it’s seductive cry no
longer, and then he would find himself here, sneaking with quiet feet up the Palace steps in search
of the one thing life always kept out of his.
Dark hallways and dusty tapestries filled his heightened awareness as he slipped silent past the
guards set to guard the way. Huge golden eyes dilated and the world of the night became as
easily seen as the day, and he wove his pathway around otherwise unseen obstacles allowing his
passage to remain unnoticed. A wicked smile curled his lips as he tossed an arrogant look over
his shoulder mocking the men behind them. None had the slightest notion of what or who was
among them. Nor did they realize how close he was getting to their Lord.
‘If I were here to kill you, Sesshoumaru, these idiots wouldn’t be much use to you.’
After zig-zagging his way through the darkness, he did at last reach his goal, and as he leaned his
weight upon the heavy door, it gave silently beneath him. Easing it open with deliberate slowness,
he slipped around the edge and closed it behind him. No sound marked his passage as he melted
into the shadows and slid along the far wall until he could look upon the rooms occupant without
obstacle.
‘Just as I remembered,’ he thought, feeling his throat constrict, and the moisture of sweat break
out upon his palms. ‘What am I doing here? I hate you more than Hell itself... don’t I?’ This
was always the most confusing part of his pilgrimage, trying to justify why he was there–again.
There was never any good answers, but none the less his hand strayed to the well-worn hilt of his
sword, his fingers lightly rubbing the frayed leather. ‘I could kill you now, you aren’t even aware
I’m here. So why don’t I? What’s stopping me? Isn’t this what I want? What I’ve always
wanted?’
The bane of his existence lay sprawled across the great bed in the center of the room, one arm
draped across his eyes and the other settled into the valley of sheets dipping between his thighs.
Just below the drape of the sheet his heavily muscled legs stretched out, one crossing over the top
of the other in a languid fashion. Pale silver hair, turned white by the moonlight, was spread out
around him like a pool of liquid mist and tumbled over the flesh of his naked torso in long sinuous
ropes. The even rise and fall of his chest was accompanied by the soft wispy sounds of sleep. His
sword was positioned upon the bed close to him, but his visitor was not alarmed by this.
‘I have caught you unawares, brother. What will you do when I set on your chest and slit your
throat? I hope you die with your eyes open so you will know it was me who killed you.’
Bare feet padded across the floor without so much as disturbing a dust mite as the hanyou
approached the bed. The blood red of his haori was turned almost black as he passed beneath a
bright beam of the moons light, and his hair shone the same brilliant white as the Inu Youkai he
intended to kill. The past years of verbal, physical, and psychological abuse at the hands of that
same Youkai began to seethe and churn inside the hanyou’s vitals, and the closer he came to his
goal, the greater his anger became.
‘Why did you never love me?’ His mind screamed with the fury of an eight-year-old boy. ‘Why
was I so unacceptable to you, you arrogant bastard? Was our blood that much different that you
couldn’t abide the sight of me? Would you have torn my head off the night I was born if you’d
had the chance? Would you?!’
An almost imperceptible growl shuddered inside his throat and he leapt with speed and agility
onto the bed intent upon straddling the sleeping Youkai and pinning him down with his weight.
But just as he was expecting to land astride his brother’s chest, he found himself captured mid air,
crushed in a murderous embrace, and thrown to the floor with his intended prey pinning him
down. Each wrist became trapped inside a grip of pure steel, and Sesshoumaru’s superior body
weight forced his bones painfully into the hard wood beneath him as the taller man wrapped his
legs around him and rendered him helpless.
“Hello, Inuyasha.” The smooth, irritating voice purred. “What brings your disgusting self into
my private room at such a late hour?”
“Get off me, you fucking dog, and I’ll show you.”
“Ah, you think to kill me in my sleep, is that it, hanyou?” Golden crystals filled with malice and
anger burned down into the younger demons face as the deadly points of sharp fangs were
revealed by a furious snarl. “You should know by now that I can smell you a mile away, you
fool. Did you really believe you could catch me unawares and relieve me of my head?”
“It was a pleasant thought.” Inuyasha smiled with acid hatred. “I might have been able to sleep
better knowing you were sleeping forever and that I was the one who tucked you in.”
“Should I do you the same courtesy then, brother?” Sesshoumaru gazed thoughtfully down into
his brothers finely etched features and found himself at once confused as well as furious. “Should
I cut off your head and put an end to this feud between us? Is that what you want?”
“I want an end, hai. But it is your blood that I want to see coloring the ground, not mine.”
“You believe you deserve to live more than I do?”
“You fucking got that right. You’re nothing less than a murdering animal. At least I have the
ability to be merciful. You don’t even know how to care about anything or anyone besides
yourself. You call me disgusting when it is you that bear the stench of unworthiness.”
“Unworthy...?” Sesshoumaru reared back and glared into the heated orbs staring hatred up at
him. “How dare you use that word to describe me, you filthy half-breed bastard.” Suddenly his
hand was wrapping itself around the muscular neck and squeezing making Inuyasha’s eyes bulge
in their sockets. “I should wring the fucking life out of you for that insult.”
“Then why don’t you?” Inu grabbed his brother’s wrist trying to pull the hand away so he could
breath. “You’ve wanted to be rid of me since the moment I was born and our father died. So go
ahead and do it, Sesshoumaru. Do it and put us both out of our misery.” Struggling beneath the
heavy weight on his chest, Inuyasha gasped for air and forced the words past his burning throat.
“I know you would have killed me that night if you’d had the chance. I know you would have
torn my head off and ripped me to shreds while my body was still wet with the water of my
mother’s womb, and then you’d have licked the blood off your fingers in triumph.”
“Is that what you think? That I would stoop so low as to kill a helpless infant?”
“Wouldn’t you? I’m nothing more than a filthy hanyou to you. What difference does it make if
this body is newborn or two-hundred years old? I’m still the same filthy hanyou that insults
everything you stand for. I’m the screaming evidence of your father’s weakness and love for a
human woman, and you can’t stand knowing I even exist.” Suddenly tears were clouding his
vision and the fierce anger of his voice cracked with an emotion he could not name. “Why?” His
hand left Sesshoumaru’s wrist and grabbed a handful of his silky, white hair. “Why couldn’t you
ever love me? I needed you, and you were never there. What was so wrong with me that you
couldn’t forgive me for living and be my family after my mother died? Why, Sesshoumaru? Why
can’t you love me? Why?”
Sesshoumaru was taken aback to the point of loosening his hold around his brothers neck and
giving him the freedom to breath. The sight of tears leaking from the corners of those proud
golden eyes was causing a tightness around his chest preventing him from breathing easy himself.
Never in all the years they had lived together, or in those since as they sought to relieve each
other of their life had Sesshoumaru ever seen his brother cry. This look of broken spirit etched
upon his face was like a knife stabbing through the great youkai’s gut, and he felt a pain he did
not recognize.
“Love you...?” He whispered in a thick voice that seemed to get caught on the lump in his throat.
“I... I have never...” A strange feeling of loneliness washed over him and he closed his eyes
against the pitiful picture of his proud, arrogant brother reduced to tears. Nothing like this
happening had ever occurred to him. Inuyasha did not cry. He did not bend, neither did he break.
No matter what Sesshoumaru did to him even as a child, the stubborn hanyou refused to give in
and admit he was inferior. The ferocious fighting spirit that lived inside his soul had exploded in
Sesshoumaru’s face more than once, and he reaped the wounds and shame of those experiences
for weeks after.
There was none else able to stand up to the great Youkai Lord save his half-breed brother, and
though it was given reluctantly, Sesshoumaru realized he respected Inuyasha for that. Hanyou or
not, the man had inherited their father’s strength just as much as he had himself. They were
evenly matched save Sesshoumaru’s superior height and weight. And he knew at this point that
was the only thing giving him an advantage in this situation.
“Let me go, Sesshou.” Inuyasha rolled his head to the side and closed his eyes unwilling to look
up into the exquisite face any longer. “I mean you no more harm. Just let me leave in peace.”
“I–can’t.” The hand laying lax against the hanyou’s throat moved and gently grasped his jaw
pulling his face back. “Look at me, Inuyasha.” The command was spoken in a soft, hoarse voice
that coaxed the broken spirited hanyou to open his eyes. “I cannot let you leave like this.”
“Why not? What does it matter how I go? Just let me go, Sesshoumaru.”
“No, you are right. It is time for the misery to be at an end between us. We have thirsted for
each others blood long enough, it is time for all things malevolent between us to be ended.” A
gentle caress along Inu’s cheek brought a violent shudder to the hanyou’s body and Seeshoumaru
allowed himself to smile ever so slightly. “Let us try to mend this breach, brother. I have never
loved anything or anyone in my life, save our father, but even then I did not know what it meant
to ‘love’. Teach me, Inuyasha. Show me what it is to love another soul as much if not more than
my own. I fear this may be what is missing from my existence.”
“Love?” Inu gazed in complete confusion into his brothers beautiful face. “You think you are
missing love in your life?”
“Hai... and you.” Sesshoumaru’s clawed hand tenderly traced the line of the elegantly arched
brows growing over Inuyasha’s huge golden eyes. “You are beautiful, Inuyasha.” He breathed as
he bent and nuzzled the warm flesh over the hanyou’s pounding pulse. “I do not know why I
never saw it before, but you are exquisite.” The tip of his tongue slid a sensuous path up Inu’s
throat ending at the corner of his mouth. The hanyou shivered beneath him and old memories
surfaced from years long forgotten.
“I won’t hurt you this time, little one. I promise no more pain between us.” And as his lips
closed over the trembling mouth, he slipped his hand beneath the hanyou’s nape and tenderly
cupped his head. A moment of stiffness passed, and then the hand wound up within his hair fisted
itself close to his scalp and pulled him closer.
A deep sigh of desire and mutual need mingled inside their fused mouths, and Inuyasha’s tongue
rose of its own will to rub and caress against the rough surface of his brother’s. A low, feral
growl erupted within Sesshoumaru as his passions rose and he sucked that delicious tongue deep

“Hai, Inuyasha.” Sesshoumaru took one of the trembling hands and placed it upon his chest and
then covered it with his own. “You may touch me... anywhere you wish.”
“Sesshou,”
The crack of Inuyasha’s voice jerked through Sesshoumaru’s spine and as he wondered at the
folly of his past atrocities toward this beautiful creature, he felt the gentle yet insistent pressure of
his brothers open mouth pressing against the flesh of his body. The hesitant hand caressed his
wide chest and then smoothed over the width of his shoulders. “Inu...” The name was torn from
him on a ragged growl as the hanyou pulled his nipple deep inside the heat of his mouth. “Dear
God.” Cradling the head against his chest, Sesshoumaru rolled onto his back dragging his
brothers naked body with him as he went. Closing his eyes, he let his body and soul fill with the

brush the hair out of his brothers face. “I do not want to do that again, but I am not sure how to
go about making a new relationship with you. We have been at war for so long...”
“Can we stop?”
“Hai, can we stop?”
“Only time will tell, Sesshou. Only time will tell.”
The older youkai allowed himself a small half smile as he looked into the glittering golden eyes
that spoke volumes to him. Inuyasha was probably right. It would not be easy to put a hundred
and fifty years of blood-feud behind them after coming to such a delicate understanding, but as he
looked into the beautiful face, Sesshoumaru knew he wanted to try.
“You will stay with me for awhile? Hai?”
“Do you want me to stay?”
“Hai, Inuyasha. I want you to stay. Can your friends get along without you for a few weeks
while we become better aquainted?”
“I–I think they can.” This was the strangest position the hanyou had ever found himself in. He
felt vulnerable, young, and unsure of himself, yet, he was filled with an excitement he had never
known. Sesshoumaru had accepted him. Allowed him to touch his flesh, love his body... and all
without threat of pain or rejection. Perhaps there was hope for them after all. “Hai,” he amended
as he curled into Sesshoumaru’s side. “They can live without me for a little while.”
“Arigato, ” Sesshoumaru felt the weight of some oppressive emotion lift off his shoulders as he
turned and gathered Inuyasha closer to him letting the scent of their sex fill his senses. “You have
stolen my heart, little one, and I am not yet willing to let you go from me.”
“You are not?” Inu’s voice was small, almost childlike. “You–you want me here–like that with
you?”
“After the time we just shared, my brother, can you doubt that?” Rolling once more,
Sesshoumaru pinned the stunned hanyou beneath him letting the long swathe of his hair to fall in a
curtain of seduction around them. “I have yet to taste all of you,” he breathed heavily as he
dragged a clawed finger down the smooth, flawless cheek. “And I intend to know every flavor,
scent, and tone of your voice before you escape my presence. You are like the crashing waves of
the sea, Inuyasha. You have surged forward and filled my senses with life and longing, and now I
must know all of your secrets.”
“But I don’t have any secrets, Sesshou.” The youthful face looked perplexed.
“Oh, but you do, little one. The secrets you harbor inside your heart and soul. I mean to know all
of them just as intimately as I intend to know this magnificent body. You belong to me, little
hanyou, and until I am ready to let you go free, you will hide nothing from me ever again.” He
leaned down and offered a deep kiss upon his brother’s quivering lips, and as those muscular arms
rose to wrap around his body once more, Sesshoumaru trembled violently and crushed Inuyasha
to his chest. “You will always be mine, Inu... always. Do you understand?”
“Hai, Aniki. I understand.”
“Do you deny this?”
“No, I cannot for it is what I desire as well.” As the admission crossed his lips, Inuyasha found
himself engulfed within the passion of his brother’s embrace. A long shuddering sigh left him as
he gave himself up to the hands and mouth of the Lord of The Western Lands.
He was home at last. He was home.
Okay, it was naughty and totally (pretty much) OOC for both of them, but I couldn’t help it. The
damn thing was giving me nasty nightmares. Maybe it’ll leave me alone now... ya think? Only
time will tell. Sheesh! God knows, I might be stuck with these two being lovers in my head
forever. I suppose that’s not tooooo bad as long as there’s room for me in the middle. :P
