A new life, Old
memories
Inuyasha loved the sea.
He had been a fisherman all his adult life. It was not something that his father
had passed down to him; this was something he had chosen as his way of life. He
had moved from his own country and found his spot in a northern country. He had
bought a small house near the ocean and a boat. The nearby beach was placed in a
small cove and it was here he moored his boat. The jetty was sitting on high
poles, a must when the tidal wave rolled in. He shared the beach with an old
woman, but he rarely saw her. He knew that they came from the same country
originally so when he did meet her, they used their native language. She was
nice, Inuyasha decided early on. She was like an old grandma that was there for
you when you needed advices and warm, comforting embrace.
But lately his solitude
life had been invaded by sun-thirsty tourists. He hated it when he came back
from a day of fishing and to have to sick sack between a small nation of people
just to get to his house. And the mess they made. Litter everywhere. Inuyasha
was growing impatient and one evening when everyone had left he walked about and
put up signs. Signs that said – PRIVATE AREA – STAY AWAY – KEEP OUT… and so on.
Once finished he smirked.
‘That ought to do it.’ he thought and brushed his hands against his
jeans. If he hurried home now he would catch a few hours sleep before he got up
and went back to his living.

Sango shuddered a bit as
she awoke from the never ending nightmare. She dreaded that she would continue
to have them as long as she lived. She had disappeared from the face of the
earth, or at least, she had fled her country in order to get away from her
ex-husband. After the divorce from Miroku, Sango had to go into hiding, but no
matter what she did he always came after her. She feared for her life, she
feared for her family’s life. She had to do something and with the help of her
parents she was able to get out of the country in total secrecy. She was going
to live with her great aunt Kaede in one of the northern countries on the other
side of the world.
Sango had lived here on
the west coast of Sweden for about a month now. The house was settled on a small
piece of land stretching out into the ocean. The only neighbour was a local
fisherman whom Kaede shared the beach and the small cove with. But Sango didn’t
dare to venture outside Kaede’s secluded garden. She still lived in such fear
that she expected Miroku to turn up around every corner. Sango washed away the
nightmare in the shower and then dressed in a light dress. A month had gone by
and Miroku had not shown his face here.
Nobody asked weird
questions about her or telling Kaede that there was someone that was looking for
Sango. Perhaps she could go down to the beach at least.
Sango looked outside the
window. It was going to be a beautiful summer day. Sango nodded and packed her
basket with lemonade and some fruits along with a blanket, towel and her
bathing-suit in case she wanted to take a dip in the ocean. She told herself
that this was a place where Miroku never could find her. With that in mind she
said good bye to Kaede and walked down to the beach.
Sango saw the signs that
said KEEP OUT and so on, but since she knew that the beach also belonged to
Kaede, she didn’t think that they would apply to her. So she ignored them.
But when she came to the
beach she became somewhat disappointed. The whole area was covered with all
sorts of litter. She growled something about people being pigs and not taking
care of their environment. She found an empty plastic bag and used it to collect
most of the litter she found. Once she was satisfied she sealed it and put it
where she could take it with her when she walked back to the house.
Then she placed her
blanket in a shadowy area and then she changed into her bathing suit. It was a
very warm day, and the sea looked very inviting to her. She walked down to the
edge of the water and dipped her feet into the green water. It was just right
temperature. She giggled like a little girl and then she ran straight into the
water. It splashed up around her and her laughs became louder.
Once she had enjoyed her
bath she went up to her blanket and lied down to dry in the shadows of the large
jasmine bush. But soon the sounds of the ocean lulled her to sleep and for the
first time in ages, she slept without haunting nightmares.
She awoke a couple of
hours later, feeling the sun on her body. She moaned but rose to sit up. She
filled a cup with lemonade and drank it greedily; she then ate an apple to gain
some sugar in her system. She while taking a large bite from the apple she
looked out over the ocean. She froze when she saw a figure come up from a boat
and walk towards her. She shook her head lightly as her body began to tremble in
fear. It couldn’t be…? Could it?
~ ○ •+• ○ ~ ○ ~ ○ •+• ○ ~
Inuyasha looked at the
sun and estimated that it was around four o’clock in the afternoon. As he tied
the boat to the jetty he was pleased to notice that his beach was empty. The
signs had been useful. But when he began to walk towards the beach he found that
something was out of place and he suddenly realized that all the litter that had
been scattered all over the beach was now gone. And there, close to one of the
jasmine bushes he saw a figure.
He growled under his
breath, obviously someone couldn’t stay away from his beach. He gripped the
fishing rod tighter in his hand and began to walk faster towards the woman
sitting on the beach. It was a young woman but what disturbed him was the
terrifying look she had on her face. And when he came close he saw that she was
trembling violently. ‘What the fuck…?’ he thought and dropped his things
at the end of the jetty. He began to fear that she was going to go hysterical on
him.
“Hey, what’s the matter?”
he called out to her.
“D-don’t hurt me… please
don’t hurt me!” she begged.
Inuyasha was stunned. She
talked Japanese? She came from his homeland? He switched language and began
talking to her in Japanese instead.
“I will not hurt you… I
promise,” he said and kneeled in front of her, taking hold of her hands very
gentle.
“Y-you’re Japanese too?”
“Yeah, but I moved away a
long time ago…”
“M-my name is Sango… I
live with Kaede-san.”
“Nice to meet you
Sango-san. I’m Inuyasha. So… you live with old Kaede-baba?” He snickered and let
go of her hands now that she seemed to have calmed down a bit.
“Don’t call her that!”
Sango snapped and smacked Inuyasha over the head lightly.
Inuyasha laughed softly,
happy that she had some spunk left in her.
“Sorry, sorry… please
don’t hurt me,” mumbled Sango again and curled into a small ball in front of
Inuyasha. She had laid a hand on him and he would probably hurt her now.
“Hey, what’s up with
you?” asked Inuyasha and began to worry again.
“I’m sorry.. so sorry,”
she choked out.
“Why are you sorry?”
“I touched you.”
“Don’t worry about it. I
don’t break that easily,” smiled Inuyasha passively.
“B-but…”
“So you are one of those
mistreated women are you? Did you run away from you husband or something because
he beat the shit out of you?”
Sango’s eyes widened. How
did he now?
“Come, I’ll treat you to
some coffee and cake,” said Inuyasha and rose to his feet and then held out his
hand for her.
“Huh?”
“Don’t be stupid, come
with me now. You look as if you could need a strong cup of coffee.”
“I… I don’t drink
coffee.”
“Well, then you just have
to start with it because I make the best coffee in this whole damn country,”
smirked Inuyasha and took her hand when she didn’t reach out for his. He pulled
her up and he realized that she was just wearing her swimsuit. “Hmm, perhaps you
should change your clothes first.”
“Eh??”
“Or don’t you have a
change with you? Here use my shirt,” said Inuyasha and yanked off his Levis
shirt and handed to Sango.
Sango gasped and turned
around when she saw the naked chest of Inuyasha. ‘What the hell is he doing?’
her mind shrieked. But it was not just the sight of his broad and muscular chest
that made her feel uncomfortable, it was her sudden need to throw the man to the
ground and ravish him right there and then. She jumped a bit when she felt his
shirt on her shoulder. She turned around but kept her eyes on the ground. But
all she wanted was to ogle him. She heard him chuckle and she could feel her
cheeks burn hot.
“Don’t worry girl, I have
that effect on every female I come across,” smirked Inuyasha and picked up her
blanket and folded it and then he grabbed her basket and then his own things and
began to walk towards his little house.
“Wait… WAIT!!”
yelled Sango when she saw him walk away with her things.
“You just have to come
with me if you want your stuff Sango-san,” answered Inuyasha.
Sango sighed in defeat
and followed him to his house. She didn’t have the spirit to fight back. He was
a man and her former husband had taught her that men are stronger than women and
women should always obey the men. Kaede had tried to tell Sango that Miroku’s
view of things was twisted due to his obsessive nature. Men and Women were
equal. And Sango just had to learn that.
Inuyasha unlocked the
door to his house. This was the second time he invited someone to his home. The
first had been Sango’s aunt. Kaede-baba was a good woman. He liked her a lot. He
saw her almost as a grandmother or something.
Sango looked around in
the house and found it to be neat and tidy. Well, there were the occasional
pieces of clothing here and there, but overall it was clean. He put her things
on his table and went to put the fishes he had caught into the large freezer. He
would sell them later. He then grabbed a t-shirt hanging on one of the chairs in
the kitchen. He saw her look around and felt a bit nervous, what if she didn’t
like his place? Then he shook his head as he began to make coffee.
‘What do I care what she thinks about my shack?’ he mentally
gruffed. ‘It’s not like I’m going to marry the bitch.’
Sango blushed when she
noticed him looking at her intensely. Her hands began to fiddle and she didn’t
know what to do or say.
“Hey Sango, why don’t you
sit down? You look as if you’re about to fall over. Did you spend too much time
in the sun?” asked Inuyasha as he grabbed a couple of cups and placed them on
the table.
“N-no… B-but I don’t know
h-how to behave a-around strangers,” she stuttered but sat down at the table.
She picked up her basket and placed it next to her on the floor.
“I know you’re aunt quite
well, but I’m not a person that goes around and invites everyone I meet into my
home. Since I moved here a long time ago, it’s only Kaede-baba that has been
inside my house,” said Inuyasha and saw anger flash in Sango’s green eyes.
‘Good girl, I know that your real personality is in there somewhere. And I will
make her come out and I’m sure she will not fear me like this one does.’ he
thought as he watched her.
Underneath all that
trembling and fidgeting, Sango was a beautiful woman. Her black hair was of
shoulder length and was curled softly around her face. She wasn’t very tall,
perhaps around 165 centimetres, but it was her eyes that caught his interest.
Dark green with specks of yellow. Eyes that could bring a man to his knees if
she wanted it to happen.
“Don’t call her that
Inuyasha-san!” scolded Sango, but she saw the gentle smile in his eyes and she
frowned. Why was he so… friendly?
“Don’t worry Sango-chan,
I like your aunt very much,” said Inuyasha.
Another dark blush
stained her cheeks and he liked it. Yes, he would work to find her true
personality because he was sure that she was something completely different
underneath all that fear. Who ever had hurt her so bad should rot in hell and
have worms eat his flesh away while being still alive.
While Inuyasha was moving
around in the kitchen to fix the treat he’d promised her, Sango was watching
him. He had long black hair that was neatly braided into one thick braid to keep
it away from his face. He was used to hard work she imagined and remembered how
he looked without his shirt. ‘Stop thinking about it Sango. You shouldn’t
want another man in this lifetime after what Miroku did to you.’ she scolded
herself. His eyes had held a deep violet colour which Sango found to be a very
rare colour. And his voice, deep and vibrating. It sent shivers up and down the
spine.
Inuyasha was well aware
that she was studying him. And years of solitude, not having a woman since he
was twenty years old, began to tug inside his stomach. He silently cursed when
his mind began to show him images on how he just ripped off the shirt and
swimsuit and placed her on the table and fucked her. ‘I must stop thinking
about that. She’s scared out of her wits and I have no right to think about her
in that way.’ He took a deep breath in order to calm his body down. He was
thirty two years old now but his body was behaving like a hormonal raging
teenager.
Ten minutes later
Inuyasha poured coffee into the two mugs he had placed on the small wooden
table. Sango suspected it was an old table, it looked very old. The house itself
looked old too and she wanted to know more about it.
“Inuyasha-san?”
“Yes, what is it?”
“This house… is it very
old?”
“Yeah, Kaede told me that
was built around 1850. I’ve repair almost everything and I’ve managed to keep
the old look. Do you like it?”
“Yes, very much. It looks
very heart warming and cosy,” said Sango and let out a small smile. But it was
the truth. She liked the house very much.
“Thank you,” answered
Inuyasha and flashed her a smile as he gave her a piece of a pie he bought
yesterday.
They ate in silence, but
Inuyasha could still feel the looks she gave him every now and then. It made him
feel a bit uncomfortable and yet he wanted her to look at him. It was so
strange.
Sango finished her coffee
and then she rose to her feet. She felt a bit awkward but she bowed to him,
thanking him for his hospitality.
“Think nothing of it
Sango-chan. You are welcome here whenever you want to get away from things,”
said Inuyasha.
“G-get away from things?”
“I might be a loner, but
I’m not stupid Sango. You have been treated very badly by someone, a boyfriend,
a husband perhaps? And if you ever need any help, just come to me. I will always
protect you.”
“Ehh?”
“And come by later with
that shirt, it’s my favourite one,” smirked Inuyasha.
“O-of course.”
“See you later then
Sango-chan.”
Sango shivered lightly as
he purred out the endearment to her name. She grabbed her things and almost ran
out of his house. He was making her feel things that she never thought possible
after Miroku’s treatment of her.
•○••♣••○•♠•○••♣••○•
Kaede only saw a blur
when Sango came rushing through the kitchen and then up the stairs to her room.
‘What on earth was that all about?’ thought the old woman and scratched
the back of her head, upsetting the grey hairs in her bun. Sango’s face had been
flushed with emotions and that was something that was rare unless you counted
for the all the times when she was frightened and scared out of her wits. This
was something else. Sango’s face had been a display of excitement. ‘I must
talk to her later about what happened to her today. She must have had a good
time on the beach.’ And with that Kaede continued to peal the potatoes she
was doing for the dinner.
Sango removed the shirt
she had around her shoulders and then she took off the swimsuit that she still
wore. She walked into the small bathroom that was connected to her room and she
showered off the remnants of the sea water from her skin. Her cheeks were
heating up again when she thought about going back to Inuyasha. She wasn’t sure
that she wanted to do that, but she had to. She had his shirt and he wanted it
back. The thought of seeing him half naked made her all tingly and she felt a
slight throb between her legs. It mortified her that he aroused her.
Before she married
Miroku, he had been a very nice guy. Sango had fallen for him during their first
date. Not once during their engagement had he shown that obsessive streak he had
inside him. He was the perfect husband-material you could find. Sango’s parents
had been so happy for her. Sango had been very strict and waited until they were
married to have sex. Of course they had make-out sessions, but none of them had
made her feel anything like an image of Inuyasha in just his jeans made her
feel. She felt hot and bothered. She bit her lip as she switched the warm water
to cold. Ice cold.
But it didn’t help her
much. How much she wanted to prevent to take care of her needs she couldn’t. Her
right hand brushed over her right breast, ghosting her palm over her stiff
nipple before lowering down to the small black bush that hid her treasure. With
movements that had been done before, she found her sensitive clit and began to
flick her finger over it. She arched her back away from the wall and spread her
legs a little bit more to make it easier for her to finger herself to orgasm. In
her mind she saw Inuyasha lie on the table in the kitchen; he was naked, pumping
his erection. She imagined that his lips held a small smirk as he watched her
watch him. ‘Ohhhh, gods…Inuyasha!!!’ she silently cried as the orgasm
rolled in over her, making her shake violently. She could feel something warm
and silky brush over her fingers before the water washed it all away. This had
been the first time she had pleasured herself since she told Miroku that she was
going to divorce him. Two years of living in sheer terror took all the needs of
sexual pleasure away.
•○••♣••○•♠•○••♣••○•
Inuyasha wasn’t fairing
much better either. The moment she had disappeared from his house he had rushed
to the bathroom and turned on cold water. But it didn’t help him. All he could
see was her swaying hips as she walked out from his house. How he wanted to grab
her from behind, push her up against a wall and fuck her hard. He moaned as his
cock hardened even if he was standing underneath the cold shower. His hand moved
lower and he gripped his swelling shaft and gently began to pump it.
Inuyasha’s perverted mind
showed him scene after scene with all kinds of positions he could take Sango in.
He fisted his cock faster and faster and when he finally came, spilling his seed
all over his hand, he yelled her name. The water washed away the evidence of his
actions and he just stood there, resting against the cold tiles in the shower.
‘Sango, what have you done to me?’ he thought as a last shiver coursed
through his body. Of course he had satisfied himself while being alone all these
years, but those times couldn’t come near the sheer force of the sexual release
he had today.
•○••♣••○•♠•○••♣••○•
No matter how Kaede
tried, she couldn’t get an answer out of Sango. Unless you counted for that
intense blush the young woman got every time Kaede mentioned the strange event.
‘She looks just like a girl in love… but who could she have met that would
cause such a reaction? Who was at the beach when she was there? A tourist
perhaps? But if that was the case, why has she not gone there again?’ the
questions were many for old Kaede. She was seventy years old now, but she still
remembered how it was to be in love. She had been that two times during her life
time and both times her love had been killed before it could bloom into a
flower. But she still knew the signs. And Sango was displaying a lot of them.
Perhaps Sango wanted to come with her to town today, just to get away from her
chaotic emotions?
“Sango-chan?”
“Yes Kaede-baachan?”
“I’m going into town
today; do you want to come with me?” asked Kaede.
Sango blinked a few
times. Perhaps she could come with Kaede into town. Miroku was probably still
roaming around in Japan looking for her. And this little country was probably
not even on his list when it came down to look for her in other countries.
‘And he said that he would protect me….’ thought Sango and she believed him.
It didn’t matter to her that she had known for only a few hours, she still
trusted him. Something inside her soul stirred and she got the feeling that she
had met him before. Perhaps she had known him in a previous life and back then
she had trusted him? Although such a thing a previous life never had been proven
there was always a possibility. The thought comforted her very much which also
made her confused. But in the end she just shook her head and told aunt Kaede
that she gladly would come with her to the town.
Sango was amazed to find
most of the people that Kaede met during the walk across town, to be very
friendly and chatted away with the shy girl as if they had known each other
their whole life. And as the day progressed, Sango began to smile more and more.
A few older people wasn’t that familiar with the English language, but Kaede,
having lived in Sweden for so long, was happy to translate between them all.
Yes, this was a good town to live in, Sango decided.
Kaede was happy too. Just
to see Sango smile again was rewarding enough. The hurt Miroku had caused her
young niece was beginning to heal. But Kaede wasn’t so sure that it was because
of her friends and the friendly people of the town. Kaede suspected it was
because of that someone that Sango had met a few days ago.
They decided to take a
break and have tea and a sandwich at a local café near the harbour. They sat
down on the small balcony and ordered what they wanted.
“I’m proud of you Sango,”
said Kaede when they had gotten their orders.
“Ohh… Why?”
“You seem to have
overcome your fears and that is a good thing.”
“I kind of figured out
that it would take him forever to find me here so I decided to let go of my past
and try and become what I once was,” said Sango truthfully as she sipped her
tea.
Kaede smiled. ‘So she
finally has come out to see the world again. Good girl, let me see that spirit
of yours bloom once again.’ she thought and ate her sandwich. Old memories
of a long forgotten time emerged and she smiled softly.
‘Yes, you will live again my dear child and this time I am sure
that you will find your happiness.’
They were silent while
eating their sandwiches but the calm moment was ruined by someone shouting
Sango’s name. They both looked down towards the voice and Sango blushed darkly
when she saw Inuyasha sit in his boat and wave at them.
“Sango-chan?” asked Kaede
curiously.
“Uhm… well… I met him a
couple of days ago at the beach,” mumbled Sango and refused to look at Kaede.
“Oh, really?”
“Mmm..” said Sango and
tried to will her blush down but without any luck.
Kaede looked down at the
black haired man and she finally understood who it was that had made Sango come
out of her shell. It was Inuyasha. She swallowed the happy laugh that was about
to flow over her lips. ‘Thank you dear gods… Thank
you!!’
“HEY SANGO, I WANT MY
SHIRT BACK!!” yelled Inuyasha with a wide grin on his lips.
“Oh, dear gods…,” groaned
Sango and hid her face in her hands. He made it sound as if they were intimate.
Very intimate.
And the gentle smile on
her aunt’s face didn’t make things better either. Inuyasha tied the boat and ran
across the street and into the café. He panted slightly as he sat down next to
Sango who felt as if her face was going to burn up. He put an arm around Sango
and hugged her a bit.
“Inuyasha-san,” said
Sango and choked on her breath. What on earth possessed him to touch her so
intimate?
“Hey, Sango-chan, you
know… I thought I was seeing things, but here you are. You look beautiful as
ever,” smiled Inuyasha.
“Hello Inuyasha-san, I
see that you met my niece already,” said Kaede and drew Inuyasha’s attention to
her instead, but his arm still rested on Sango’s shoulders.
“Hey, Kaede-baba, what’s
up?”
“Don’t call her that!”
snorted Sango and managed to swat Inuyasha over the leg with her palm.
“Why Sango, we haven’t
know each other that long so you could touch my legs baby.”
Sango’s green eyes
widened again and she felt like she wanted to sink through the ground. Why was
he acting so strange? The sparkle in his dark violet eyes made her body shiver
and the closeness to his warmth spread over her skin. And when he leaned closer
to her, whispering into her ear she was about to blow a fuse.
“Hey, Sango-chan, care to
come by later with my shirt?” he whispered low enough to just let Sango hear
what he said and ended the question by blowing into her ear.
“S-sure Inuyasha-san,”
answered Sango and felt the goose bumps form on her skin.
“Good, now, enjoy your
tea and I’ll see you later Sango-chan. And Kaede-baba…. Nice to see you again,
I’ll come over some day with some crabs for you.”
“Thank you Inuyasha-san,”
said Kaede and winked at him, silently telling him that he had her blessing. And
it didn’t go unnoticed by the black haired youth.
“Good, good bye then
girls!”
And with that, the
forward young man disappeared. They saw him wave as he drove away in his boat.
Sango took a deep breathe
to calm down her body. But no matter what she tried, her body was shivering with
unleashed desire. He had done it again to her, but why did he act so strange?
“Sango-chan?”
“Uhm… w-what?”
“So you met Inuyasha-san
at the beach the other day then??” asked Kaede.
“Y-yes, I did… “
“And what is this about
his shirt?”
“W-well… he kind of lent
me his shirt when he invited me into his house. I haven’t returned it yet,”
stuttered Sango and blushed crimson again.
“Don’t worry about
Inuyasha, he’s always like that. Forward and bit of a brute, but he’s a good
boy. He probably wouldn’t hurt a living soul unless called for it.”
Sango just nodded. But
she was still curious to what had caused him to act so forwardly with her.
•○••♣••○•♠•○••♣••○•
Inuyasha was smiling all
the way back home to the cove. He smiled as he walked back to his house. The
image of Sango, blushing brightly as he touched her made him want to howl in
victory. She hadn’t pushed him away or slapped him silly for doing so. The only
thing she had reacted on when he called Kaede an old hag. The days after their
first meeting, Inuyasha had come to one conclusion. He was going to make Sango
his woman. He couldn’t live a life without her. He would make her want him too.
He was going to make her give into him.
His mind reeled up all
kind of scenarios where he took her. She was going to be the one and only woman
he asked to marry him. Now that had shocked him out of his wits, but after
thinking about it for a few hours, it wasn’t so bad. But first he had to make
her want to be with him too and that would take some work since she was afraid.
Again he wanted to rip
off the head of the bastard who had crushed her spirit so much. If the fucker in
question ever showed his face around Inuyasha he was going to kill him. Sango
should never have to be afraid again. He then began to think what it would like
to be married to Sango. True, they hadn’t known each other for more than a
couple of hours, but Inuyasha loved her. It was the only thing that could fit
into what ever he was feeling towards her. Just thinking about her made him feel
hot, warm, cosy, cuddly, powerful, horny as hell, and he felt a need to settle
down. He had settled down here a long time ago, but this was different, he
wanted her to be a part of his life, permanently.
He cleaned crabs he had
caught during the morning and placed them in his freezer. He had picked out a
couple of big ones for Kaede. He knew that she loved crabs and he often gave her
the very best he had caught. Once that was done, he headed for the shower. He
wanted to be nice and clean when Sango came by, because he was sure that she was
going to come later this afternoon. While standing under the water, he began to
fantasise again. He wasn’t about to go around with a loaded gun in his pocket
when he met her. He probably would just pounce her and have his wicked way with
her. Not the brightest thing to do when you only had known her for a couple of
hours. And he didn’t want to scare her away.
•○••♣••○•♠•○••♣••○•
Kaede suggested that
Sango could take a shower once they got home.
“You look as if you have
a fever my dear,” said Kaede and hid a smirk.
“F-fever?”
“Yes, you are all red and
you sound very strange too.”
“Don’t w-worry
Kaede-baachan, I’m fine. It’s just that the weather is a little bit too hot for
me,” answered Sango, feeling totally devastated. Did it really show that much on
her?
“Alright, but you’ll tell
me if you are getting sick?”
“O-of course, baachan.”
“Good, now let’s head for
home. And I have a surprise for you too,” smiled Kaede.
Sango nodded and tried to
look natural but probably failed miserable.
Sango took her shower
when they got home and when she came out from it, Kaede was sitting on her bed.
Sango looked confused when Kaede smiled softly.
“Here, I have something
for you to wear if you are going to visit Inuyasha-san,” said Kaede and held up
a sky-blue summer dress.
“Ehh?”
“I may be old Sango-chan,
but I still remember the feeling of being in love or even just interested in
someone. I know that you don’t have much clothes, since you had to leave in such
a hurry to get away from that bastard Miroku, so this is something I bought you
a couple of weeks ago. And I have a few other things too, if you want them.”
“Kaede-baachan?”
“Don’t worry, I have
enough money for the both of us to last us ten lifetimes and you know it. I want
to give you these. And trust me; I have known Inuyasha for about ten years if
not more. He has never invited a girl into his house. He’s a good looking boy
and I know that he has women that want him to be their lover, but he just turn
them down, rather rudely at that too. You have caught his eye, my child. And it
would please this old woman very much if you two got together.”
‘You have no idea of
what I have seen in the past but I know that you two are meant for each other
and Fate will make it happen…’
“T-together?”
“Well, what happens…
happens. Don’t you worry about it. Now, try it on so I can see if I made a good
choice, Sango-chan,” said Kaede with a comforting voice.
Sango nodded and picked
up the light blue piece and walked back into the bathroom and changed. She came
out moments later and smiled shyly. The dress suited her just perfectly. Kaede
clapped her hands in appreciation.
“You look beautiful
Sango-chan, now some make up!”
“Baachan, I don’t use
make up,” complained Sango, sounding more like a ten year old.
“You do know. Come, sit
down and I will help you, said Kaede and fetched her small toilet bag.
Sango didn’t need much,
just some black eye-liner, mascara and slightly lilac lip-gloss. Kaede winked at
her and motioned Sango to look in the mirror. The sight was stunning. Even Sango
had to agree that she looked… well cute at least. She wouldn’t go as far as say
she was beautiful, being all self critic and such.
“Now you are ready to
sweep that boy off his feet,” said Kaede and hugged Sango.
“Uhm, do you really think
so?” mumbled Sango into Kaede’s shoulder.
“I know so my child. So,
so… go now and I promise I won’t sit up and wait for your return,” blinked
Kaede, making Sango blush brightly.
Sango nodded and folded
the shirt she had borrowed from Inuyasha and placed it in her bag and then she
put on her sandals. She looked at Kaede one more time, but the old woman just
waved at her and Sango gulped. This was going to be hard. She kept seeing
Inuyasha in his jeans and it made her feel very…. Uhm… ‘Horny, come on girl,
you can say the word horny can’t ya?’ scolded her other, cockier half.

Sango stood outside
Inuyasha’s front door. She was sure that the sweat was rolling off her in waves.
God, she was so nervous, but she swallowed hard and knocked on the thick wooden
door, waiting for Inuyasha to open or yell that it was ok to come in. He opened
the door and she saw that he was dressed in a pair of worn jeans and an armless
dark blue t-shirt.
“Hey there, so you did
come after all?” he smirked and held up the door for Sango.
“Y-yes, I said I would,”
mumbled Sango and began to search for the shirt the moment she stepped into his
house.
“Man, you look
beautiful,” said Inuyasha as he let his violet eyes go over her appearance.
“Thank you, Kaede-baachan
bought it for me.”
“Wow, who could know that
the old woman had such a fashion sense? Do you want something to drink? I’ve got
beer, soda, lemonade, coffee, tea…”
“What ever you having,”
said Sango and followed Inuyasha into the kitchen. She was still amazed by the
looks of his home. He had really caught the old time in his renovations of the
house.
“Well, I like beer,” said
Inuyasha and went to the fridge and picked out a Kilkenny beer for Sango and
opened the bottle and handed it to Sango. “Here you go; this best beer next to
Guinness.”
“Eh?”
“Don’t you like dark beer
Sango?”
“I… I don’t know… never
tasted it before,” said Sango truthfully.
“There’s a first time for
everything my dear.”
Sango nodded with a
slight blush and she put the bottle to her lips and gulped down a small sip of
the beer he had given her. To her surprise it tasted better than any beer she
tasted before.
“Did you like it?”
“Yes, it tasted good
Inuyasha-san,” said Sango.
“And stop with that will
ya… I’m just Inuyasha ok?”
“Ok… Inuyasha.”
“Good, now – what do you
want to do?”
“Eh? Oh… your shirt!”
said Sango and fished up the shirt from her bag and held it to him. “I washed it
for you.”
“You didn’t have to do
that,” said Inuyasha and took the shirt she presented for him.
“I wanted to.”
“But still… Anyway, you
don’t have anything planned for the rest of the day then?”
Sango blushed and that
gave Inuyasha some indications on what the lovely young woman in front of him
had in mind. He could feel his cock began to twitch in response to what his
beautiful little coral could think about.
Sango didn’t know what
she was going to say. What did she want to do? ‘Well, tell him to remove that
shirt and trousers to begin with.’ said her inner horny demon. ‘Tell him
to lie down on the table and play with himself so you can watch at the same
time…’ She blushed and took another sip from the beer, a larger one this
time. She couldn’t get away from what her evil twin-soul was telling her. She
was sure that it was something that wasn’t her that was telling her all these
naughty things.
Inuyasha followed her
example and gulped down some of his beer as well. The blush that tainted her
cheeks was telling enough, but he didn’t want to push her, not much anyway. So
he decided they could go down to the beach instead. He had already made a basket
with drinks and snacks and he had a blanket folded over it.
“Hey Sango, want to have
a picnic with me at the beach?” He asked as he drank the last of the beer in his
bottle.
“S-sounds nice Inuyasha,”
said Sango.
“Come on then, I have
already planned a head and packed a basket with goodies for us.”
Sango nodded and rose to
her feet, leaving the half empty bottle on the table. He held up the front door
for her and she saw him lock it before smiling at her.
Sango looked at Inuyasha
as he placed the blanket on the very same spot where he had found her a couple
of days ago. He motioned for her to sit down and she did and he sat down next to
her. They didn’t say much as he gave her a cold, bottled alcoholic drink, a
Bacardi Breezer.
“What’s this?” asked
Sango as she sipped the new drink.
“That’s a Bacardi
Breezer, tropical watermelon taste,” said Inuyasha.
“Wow, this was good,”
breathed Sango and drank some more.
Inuyasha mentally
smirked; he had figured that if he could get Sango a little bit drunk he could
get her to talk. And if she talked, he probably could found out what happened to
her. And if he was right, and if he could get the name on the asshole that hurt
her so badly, he would go to any length to make sure that she was safe.
And true enough. Sango
told him about how she came to meet Miroku. How he had swept her off her feet,
telling her that he loved her very much. He had proposed to her, they had
married and then… two weeks after the wedding he turned on her. From being a
very lovable and gentle person to be a violent and obsessed creature. He stalked
her; he made sure that she never met anyone without his consent, not even her
own parents. She told him how she tried to hide from him the moment she got her
divorce but that he always would find her. It was her parent’s decision to make
her travel around the world and stay with a distant relative of her mother, that
relative being aunt Kaede. She told him that it took her over a month to even go
outside Kaede’s house in fear that she would end up in Miroku’s clutches again.
Inuyasha felt something
inside him burst when she told him her story. If that Miroku ever showed his
face around here, Inuyasha would tear him limb from limb. Suddenly he felt a
sting in his palms and he looked at his hands and he got a shock, somehow his
nails had grown considerable, they looked almost like claws to him. ‘What the
fuck is going on….???’ he asked himself and he hid his bruised hands when
Sango looked at him oddly. But the look in her eyes told him that his nails
weren’t the only thing that had changed.
“I-Inuyasha?”
“W-what?”
“Y-your eyes….”
“What about them?” asked
Inuyasha hesitantly.
“Ehm… they’re yellow with
r-red specks in them,” said Sango and her eyes widened when he began to growl in
return. ‘What is happening to you Inuyasha…??’
“Sango…. Perhaps you
should go back to Kaede-baba???” snarled Inuyasha as he felt something push
forward inside him.
“Inuyasha??”
“GO!!!”
Sango nodded and got up
on her feet very fast and began to back away from Inuyasha. She could hear the
snarls and growls that he made and she decided that the sounds were not human
like.
But before Sango could
run away from Inuyasha she caught the sight of Kaede, coming down from the small
path. She had a black eye and blood was streaming down her face.
“Sango-chan, run… run… he
has found you,” whispered Kaede as she came stumbling towards Sango.
“Kaede-baachan!!!”
Sango yelled. Her aunt didn’t have to explain exactly who had found her. It was
Miroku. She knew it, deep inside her soul she knew that it was Miroku that was
here and had hurt her beloved aunt.
“He’s here Sango… run,
run!! Hide my child… run!!”
“Baachan!!” growled
Inuyasha and rose to his feet, making both women gasp in surprise. His long
midnight black hair had turned all silver, his eyes were glowing red with anger
and the thirst for revenge. “Where’s the fucker now?!!”
“Inuyasha-san?”
“Tell me… where is he???”
“N-not far behind… I
think he f-followed me here.”
“Heh… Mate, take the old
lady away; I’ll deal with the fucker!!” said the transformed Inuyasha with a
smirk that sent chills down Sango’s spine.
“Hai!” said Sango, she
knew that she shouldn’t go against Inuyasha when he was in this state. She
helped Kaede and then she began to search for a hiding place.
In the corner of his
eyes, Inuyasha saw that Sango moved the old lady away and he smirked. There was
something deep inside him that told him that his bitch would find a good place
to hide. They might have met for the first time a couple of days ago, but his
soul recognized hers as if they had met before. He smirked when he saw a figure
come into view in front of him. ‘Keh, let’s see if the bastard can learn his
lesson this time… ne?’ Inuyasha flexed his claws as they grew considerable
and he raised them in front of his face. ‘Come on and
I’ll slice you to pieces you sick fucker!!’
Sango’s head began to
flood her with memories. But they were not memories from her previous life… No,
this was something completely different. She saw images from a previous life,
from a life when she was a proud demon slayer. She had wielded a giant
boomerang, she could fight with a sword, she rode a giant fire cat demon. She
was a part of a group that fought against evil. She was the mate of a hanyou… a
half demon. She was Inuyasha’s mate. ‘He called me Mate…. does that mean???
And Kaede… she’s a miko… a priestess… and Miroku… but he was a monk… but why has
he turned in his behaviour? I’m confused…’ But she couldn’t care less at the
moment.
Now all that mattered to
her was to get Kaede to safety. She found the small path that led back to
Inuyasha’s house and she used brute strength to get the door to open for her.
She helped Kaede up the stairs and put the old woman down on the bed she found
there.
“Baachan, stay here… I
must go and help Inuyasha,” said Sango, but before she could go, Kaede took hold
of her wrist.
“What do you remember my
child?” asked Kaede.
“Ehh?”
“What do you remember?”
repeated Kaede.
“I’m a taijya, Inuyasha
is a hanyou, and Miroku is a lecherous monk.”
“Good, but don’t go back,
I’m sure that your Mate will make sure that Miroku is taken cared of.”
Sango’s eyes widened in
surprise.
“How did you know?” asked
Sango as she sat down next on the bed.
“Because I was there when
you mated.”
Sango looked confused.
“’m a lot older than 70
years old Sango-chan. I was given a choice to be there for you and I took it.
But I never got to have eternal youth.”
“Baachan??”
“I am still a Miko… And I
was given a choice to be here in case of trouble… And how could I not accept
such an offer? I wanted you all to be safe. But unfortunately, Miroku turned out
to be reborn in a very bad form. Perhaps it was because you mated Inuyasha back
then. You choose the hanyou over the monk. And it might be so that the monk’s
spirit has not forgiven you for it, and that’s why he was so obsessed with you.”
Sango was shocked into
silence. She had been with Inuyasha before? He had chosen her as his mate? The
emotions blended with old, old memories flooded her senses and she fell to the
floor, her hands covering her face and she began to cry violently.
“Sango-chan, don’t cry…”
began Kaede and held out her hand and gripped one of Sango’s wrists.
“S-sorry…” sobbed Sango.
“Don’t be… this are not
something that are very common. But I have chosen this and now I want you two to
get back together again. I knew it the moment you came to me that you were
Inuyasha’s Mate. He has tapped into his demonic powers and he will protect you.”
“I must go to him!”
“If you feel that it is
necessary, then go to him, but first, give me something to protect me with if
that bastard comes here,” said Kaede with a soft smile.
Sango nodded and ran
downstairs and fetched a kitchen knife and then she ran back up again and gave
it to Kaede. The old woman gripped it tightly before hiding it underneath the
covers.
“Now go to your Mate, but
do not interfere in his fight. Remember this. Only show yourself if he’s down!”
“Hai!”
“Good, make sure that
Miroku is disabled.”
“Hai!”
And with that Sango ran
back to the beach. But she stayed hidden when she saw Inuyasha fight her former
husband. But she couldn’t see him as her former husband anymore. All she could
see was that her Mate was fighting against an enemy.
•○••♣••○•♠•○••♣••○•
Inuyasha could smell
Sango when she came back to the scene, but she stayed hidden and for that he was
grateful. He fought against the fucker who dared hurt his mate and baachan. The
old woman was a person he thought of as family and he had tipped over the edge
when he saw Kaede beaten and bloody. He had ordered his Mate to take care of the
old woman and his Mate had followed his orders. But now his Mate was back, but
she stayed hidden. But what would happen if the fucker knew that Sango was back?
He avoided a strike to his face and he brought his fist into the human’s
stomach.
The human was down, he
spit blood onto the ground as he tried to stand up again, but Inuyasha was there
and placed another punch right into his face. This was the man who had hurt his
baachan, this was the man who had killed his Mate’s spirit. He didn’t care how
this man had come to dominate his bitch, but it was going to stop right now. He
was going to kill him. He was going to make sure that this human was dead and
gone before he was satisfied. Just as he was about to gut the human he was
stopped. He felt a soft hand on his wrist and he turned around and saw Sango’s
tear-stained face.
“D-don’t Mate…. he’s not
worth it,” cried Sango as she held on to his wrist.
”He was the one that hurt
you!”
“I know…. but don’t…
don’t soil your hands with his blood!”
Inuyasha looked at Sango
with dark red eyes and he took a step away from the coughing figure in front of
him. Sango grasped his hands more firmly and she moved closer and she looked at
him with tears in her crimson red eyes.
“You called me Mate?”
mumbled Inuyasha.
“Hai… aren’t you my Mate
then?”
“I am… Sango.”
“C-come, let’s leave…
Baachan is waiting for us at your den!”
“Mate, you remember?”
“Hai… I remember.”
Sango looked around and
saw a plant she recognized: Hyoscyamus Niger or Henbane, and she smiled. A seed
or two of this herb would put Miroku into a very dazed state. Long enough to the
local police could get here and take him away. She nipped a seed case and made a
few seeds fall into her hand. Two would be enough; if she gave him more she
could kill him. Not that she would mourn him if he died, but she didn’t want to
soil her hands with his death. One, he wouldn’t be in pain from the injuries her
Mate had caused him, two, he would be in a state of trance until they had moved
to a safer location. She put the seeds into Miroku’s mouth and made sure he
swallowed them. She then turned to Inuyasha and smiled gently.
“Come mate, we must move
on. We have a grandmother to take care of and then we must find a new place to
live,” said Sango.
“Mate,” mumbled Inuyasha
and nuzzled her neck. His arms went around her and he held her close. His heart
was beating in sync with hers. Her smell, her warmth, it was embracing him
again. Gods, it felt so good it almost hurt.
“Mate,” acknowledged
Sango and hugged him back.
Two minutes later she
could see that the seed she had given Miroku was giving effect and she pulled
Inuyasha with her towards his house.
