Inu Yasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango four of the most unusual of friends. One in particular has a
power, dormant, this power makes her particularly more alike another than she would even like.
This is their story...
"Please Inu Yasha. I love you, do not deny me the feelings that lie deep within my heart," said the
miko from the future. "Kagome I would love nothing more than to have you but..." the hanyou said
with remorse in his eyes. "It's because of her isn't it?! You can't love me because you love HER!"
Kagome screamed with fury and pain in her eyes. "NO! No Kagome I love you not h.." "Enough Inu
Yasha! If I can't have you in reality I WILL HAVE YOU IN YOUR DREAMS!!!"
The world around them turned dark, they were in a room surrounded by nothing. Candles suspended
in the air. Inu Yasha lying very naked on a bed surrounded by rose petals. Kagome approached the
bed. When Inu Yasha attempted to reach for her he found underneath the rose petals his arms were
restrained to the bed. "Inu Yasha I love you more than you'll ever know..." with that Kagome
approached the bed close enough for Inu Yasha to see she was wearing a leather outfit that was very
revealing in all the wrong places. Inu Yasha began to blush but soon realized her intent. If she
thought he wasn't going to give her his whole heart than she would break him for it...
Kagome reached for a candle and pulled it from the air. Inu Yasha's fears were realized when hot
wax began to drip down his chest. He tried to writhe in pain, he tried to block the searing heat, but
he couldn't he could only scream in pain. "Yes Inu Yasha scream for me. Tell me who owns your
heart..."
"Holy shit!" Inu Yasha screamed as he was suddenly awaken from his slumber. He was drenched in
his own sweat and could swear he felt the pain from the burns. He looked over to see no one else
stirring from there sleep except for one particullarly flushed miko. She was trembling in her sleep he
could see. Was it possible she had shared in his dream? As he began to rise to wake her the pain
returned in his chest he stared down reluctantly to his chest and opening his haori he saw burn
marks. "This is some fucked up shit..." He mumbled to himself.
She knew he was awake, she knew they were asleep. She would be the queen of his dreams. For the
hanyou there would be no safe place from her not even in his mind. Kagome rose from her
meditative state to the shaking of the hanyou. She knew it was him, she knew.
"Kagome we need to talk..." he said. "What about?" she said trying to feign as much innocence as
possible. She thought she knew what he was about to say, she thought she knew what implications
she would have on Inu Yasha's dreams, she thought she knew. She was wrong "Kagome I don't think
I should be around you." "What?! What do you mean?!" " I'm afraid Kagome, I'm afriad of what I
could possibly do." Then he saw it, the fury in her eyes. The very same fury he saw in his dreams.
The pain returned not just from the wounds but the pain he saw in Kagome's eyes. Any thoughts of
comforting her were long gone in the sight of her eyes. He felt he should run, and so he did.
Kagome gave chase with speed enough to match Inu Yasha's. No, not just to match she was flying,
he could see the wings like those of a raven's. Under the moonlight they amplified her beauty, given
a different situation he would have let her catch up so that he could simply admire her. This was not
one of those moments. He sought refuge where Kagome had so many times before, he jumped into
the well and into her time. Kagome hovered above the well knowing well to give up the chase... for
now.
