Have you seen my invisible scars
Have you heard my cries at night
Every punch I receive the more I die
I am just a punching bag

Each Blow I take furthers the hurt
Each practice session destroys me more
I am just a punching bag

No one to blame but me
No ones fault it is mine
Each and every time
I am just a punching bag.

When the practice session ends
I lie there beaten and battered
My last practice session has been completed
Yet, I do not cry, I do not fear
The end is here and so is peace
I am just a punching bag.
