My story takes place after they have defeated Naraku and they have to go around and re collect them the shards. Kagome

Not happy about the jewel of the four souls has shattered again but happy that she now has a reason the keep coming back. But Kagome had another reason for coming back InuYasha! Even though he can be stubborn and so� stupid she had to admit she loved him.
"What is that look for Kagome?" InuYasha�s voice brought her back realizing she had stooped dead in the road and was staring at InuYasha. And worse yet InuYasha was staring back with everyone watching!

" Oh it is nothing� I was just thinking of a big test I have next week"

" A test! We don�t have time for tests we have shards to collect!"
" I know we have shards to collect I was there remember!"
" Well stop day dreaming and let�s go!"

As InuYasha turns to walk up the road a very angry command comes from Kagome.

"Sit boy!!!!"

InuYasha now face down in the dirt tries to get up

"What did you do�."

"Sit boy, sit boy, sit boy!!!!!!!"

As Inuyasha�s face was repeatedly smashed into the ground Sango and Miroku walked over to a tree and sat down shaking their heads.

" He should relay know better than to aggravate Kagome like that"

Sango nods in agreement
" Yes but I think he will never learn"
Miroku puts his arm around Sango and holds her close. Sango blushes deeply.

" Sango when do you think shippo will be re joining us?"

Blushing she looks down" I do not know maybe two days"

They both look up as they see Kagome running into the woods and InuYasha chasing after her.
"I guess he was him self again and made her so mad that she ran off"

Miroku holds Sango close and kisses her head lightly. Sango�s blush deepens and she presses into him feeling the warmth of his body agents hers.
" Sango"

Miroku no! Thought Sango�no please do not ruin this moment by being a pervert!

"Yes Miroku"

Just then Miroku took Sango by the shoulders and turned her towards him Sango taken by surprise and coming face to face with Miroku she blushes deeply and is frozen with the overwhelming emotions she is experiencing.
"I love you Sango! I love you with all my heart I hope to someday have a family with you and for us to grow old together� I love you"

" Oh�Miroku I... Love you to"

Miroku leans in and kisses Sango gently upon the lips then as they sit there holding each other and reviling in there new found passion. As Miroku gently lies Sango down he gently starts to stroke her hear and the side of her face. As he starts to rub Sango�s side she grabs his hand.

" I think we should wait�"

Miroku look at Sango and smiles

"We will do what ever you wish my love"

"Don�t say that it sounds creepy"

"What sounds creepy?"

" When you said we will do what ever you wish my love�. Don�t it sounds creepy"

"But I mean it! Relay I do!"

Miroku leans in to try and kiss Sango and receives a smack in the face.

"How can you think of that at a time like this!"

Sango stands up

"I am going to look for Kagome and InuYasha"

Miroku catches up with Sango

"I am going to go as well"

Meanwhile Kagome and InuYasha were having their own discussion.
Kagome runs to a clearing, running through the clearing was a small shimmering stream. She sat down and began to cry. InuYasha came in just behind her and stood for a moment looking at Kagome. The way the light touched her hair and was filled with a very strange but nice feeling. The kind of feelings that he often gets around Kagome.

" Kagome" Said InuYasha softly

"Go away!" Kagome cried out

InuYasha walks over to Kagome and places his arms around her and sitting down behind her pulls her close to him. His hair and hers flowing together as a warm breeze washes over them. Carrying the sweet smell of flowers with it.

" Kagome you must know I never meant to make you cry�. I hate to see you cry"

Kagome stops her tears and looks at InuYasha her eyes still wet with tears and red rimed from crying. InuYasha leans down and kisses her tears away.

" Don�t you see Kagome�. I love you�"

Kagome�s hears skips a beat at these long awaited words Did he just say I love you? Kagome kept playing it over and over in her mind. Then she thought she should say something. Her face darkens and she closes her eyes.

" InuYasha�"

Before she could say another word he leans in and kisses her ever so gently. Kagome thought she would burst with joy she had never felt such joy in her life. As InuYasha deepened the kiss he could not help but wonder if he was doing it right. So far everything was going good and this new feeling building up inside him was really good. It seemed the more he kissed Kagome the better he felt.

As Kagome kissed InuYasha she wrapped her arms around him holding him close. Her body trembles slightly as he kisses her. She can�t help but thinking how long she has secretly wanted this. Running her fingers through his long silver hair she found her self hoping this would never end.

As InuYasha starts to kiss Kagome�s neck and she opens her eyes and wonders if they should stop. The really good feeling was still there but there was a new feeling creeping in. The feeling of fear!

" InuYasha�"

Kagome said softly InuYasha was kissing her neck when he herd his name he looked up into Kagome�s eyes and kissed her ever so gently.

"Yes Kagome"

" I think we should stop"

"Stop? Why?"

" Because�."Kagome pulls away from him

She blushes deeply

"Not here�. And we should be married"

"Married? Why should we have to get married?"

Kagome stands up and stomps her foot

" You don�t think I was going to�"
"Going to what?"

" You know!" Kagome shouts at InuYasha

" No I don�t know"

He blushed deeply and thinks back on the kiss and how good he was feeling how connected he felt to Kagome and he knew he wanted to feel that way again.

InuYasha grabs Kagome and pulls her close to him. He looks into her eyes.

"Kagome will you marry me?"

Just as InuYasha asked Kagome to marry him Sango and Miroku just entered the clearing and herd the question being asked. They both stood there shocked Kagome noticed them out of the corner of her eye and blushed

"How long have you two been standing there?" asked Kagome InuYasha still holding her look at her.

Sango and Miroku stood there a moment

"Oh not long right Miroku?"

" No not at all Sango in fact."

InuYasha turns Kagome�s face to his and looks deep into her eyes. " Kagome will you marry me?"

Kagome closes her eyes and smiles "Yes!"

She kisses him and holds him close " yes InuYasha I will marry you!"
