The Black Dragon, his Lover, and the Black Dragon’s Daughter:

InuTaisho stood in front of his father, as his father paced the floor, watching InuTaisho and his brothers. Behind him stood Ryuukotsei, and his Daughter- Saphera. Now Saphera stood close to InuTaisho, slightly off to the side, so she could see, she’s about 200 in demon years, but 18 in human years.

She’s tall, about 4’5” –still growing too-, and she looked shockingly similar to Ryuukotsei, except her hair is jet black, and pulled back into a single braid, her face held one marking- A silver Crescent moon adorned her forehead.

InuTaisho was snapped back to the present when Said person pinched his side and motioned with her head towards his father.

“InuTaisho! Why did you bring those filthy Lizards here?!” Inumaru yelled, Saphera’s eye twitched, and Ryuukotsei’s tail twitched in distaste.

“I promised them a place to sleep, after all Saphera is still young,” Behind him Saphera growled only loud enough for him to hear but did nothing else,

“And what gave you the authority to do that?” Inumaru asked, in a rather calm voice belying the anger just boiling under the surface,

“Saphera twisted her ankle My Lord, its only for tonight, just so she can rest it until morning,” InuTaisho said, as Saphera babied her right ankle noticeably, faking it very, very convincingly…

“Fine, but by noon tomorrow their gone,” Inumaru said dangerously,

“Yes father,” InuTaisho could feel Saphera behind him watching his father closely, waiting for him to strike,

“Yuu, Takumi, Shiro you three are dismissed,” Inumaru said, as he walked over to his throne, and sat down. The three younger boys left the room, looking at Saphera with pity, “You child come here,” Saphera limped slightly as she walked in front of Inumaru, InuTaisho reached back to take Ryuukotsei’s hand, Ryuukotsei squeezed his hand, worried about his daughter,

“What do you want My lord?” Saphera said bluntly,

“Ah, straight to the point…” Inumaru said smirking somewhat evilly, Saphera stood tall showing a blank emotionless face to Inumaru, “You would be a good mate…” Inumaru trailed off, Saphera kept her face blank, while Ryuukotsei growled behind InuTaisho

“I will not become your mate,” Saphera said, as she turned and walked away from Inumaru.

“You disrespectful Lizard!” Inumaru yelled, his power suffocating in its potency, Saphera turned, just in time to be pinned to the ground, as she fell she tucked her knees to her chest and kicked Inumaru away.

“I. Am. Not. A. Lizard.” Saphera said punctuating every word, as she stood, slipping into a fighting stance like it was second nature, (Which technically it is for her)

“Should we back up against the wall Ryuukotsei?” InuTaisho asked over his shoulder,

“Yes we should,” Ryuukotsei said, as he started to back up, “She might be small… but she can get a point across…” Ryuukotsei said, as he backed up pulling InuTaisho with him, they both stayed as close to the wall as they could. “Aren’t you worried about your father?”

“A little, I hate him, but he is my father,” As they talked, Saphera and Inumaru clashed, soon Inumaru backed off, to keep his dignity. Saphera stood in a defensive stance,

“Get out of my sight Lizard!” Saphera growled at him but left the room, and as she left she grabbed her father’s tail, who in turn held onto InuTaisho’s hand, thus dragging them both out of the room.

Ryuukotsei felt Saphera let go of his tail, he looked at her and finally saw all the injuries she sustained from fighting with Inumaru, scratches here and there, bruises forming on her torso, legs and arms, a broken wrist, bruised ribs. Nothing vital, but he was still worried.

“I’m fine father, nothing that won’t heal within a few days,” Saphera said, as she turned her head showing a busted lip, to Ryuukotsei, he put his hand under her chin and tried to look for other wounds but Saphera backed away from him.

“Saphera…”

“Enough Father, I hate it when you try to baby me,” Saphera said, InuTaisho, walked up to her, and made her look at him.

“Maybe he’s worried about you Pup,” InuTaisho said, as he made her look into his eyes, Saphera sighed and looked away,

“I’m a hatchling, InuTaisho-san, but I’m sorry father,” Ryuukotsei nodded, and he started to look over Saphera’s face, finding no other injuries but her busted lip,

“Common, let’s get away from my father…” InuTaisho, said, Saphera nodded, but she winced, as she placed her hand on the back of her neck, and she looked at that hand, and sighed,

“Um… take me to a healer first…” Saphera said, Ryuukotsei picked her up, and InuTaisho lead them to the healer.

“Ah, I was waiting for you, Takumi, and Shiro, said, something about a young dragon demoness showing extraordinary power for her age…” An older woman said, as she took Saphera from Ryuukotsei, she pulled Saphera’s haori tails out of Saphera’s Hakuma, so she could get a better look. She made a ‘tsk’ing sound, as she walked over to a cabinet and grabbed some bandages, and a couple jars of salve.

“Um… The back of my neck is bleeding…” Saphera said in a small shy voice, not very used to being around new people,

“I’ll start with that then, turn around, and take off your haori completely,” Saphera obeyed, and pulled her braid over her shoulder. “This isn’t from Inumaru-sama is it?”

“No… that’s from a wild bear…” Ryuukotsei said, “This morning, Saphera was hunting when she was attacked, by a wild bear… She got away from the bear as quickly as she could but as she ran the bear caught her with its claws…” He finished, Saphera reached for his hand, with her tail. He smiled faintly at her.

“I see,” The healer said, as she cleaned the wound and then bandaged it. She then took care of all of Saphera’s other wounds, by the time she was done Saphera was sleepy. “The herbs I used have made her drowsy, make sure she’s comfortable,” The Healer said, as InuTaisho picked up Saphera, and her haori.

“Alright,” InuTaisho said, as Saphera snuggled close to him, Ryuukotsei chuckled, as InuTaisho left the healers and headed to his room, where he places Saphera on the bed, before he turns to Ryuukotsei, and Kisses him on the lips…

Ryuukotsei Kissed him back, before he pulled back and smiled, “Let’s get some sleep, love,” Ryuukotsei crawled into bed, next to his sleeping daughter, InuTaisho followed and lay on the other side of her.

“You know… Saphera might just, fall in love with one of us… or both of us… female dragons are rare… but Multibreed’s are even rarer…” InuTaisho muttered,

“I know my Love I know,”
