What is wrong with her?! She tells me she loves me. I embrace her for what seems like an eternity as we talk about things that have happened. I've stopped sneaking up on her, like she asked. What else can this Sesshomaru do?! Every time I lean in for a kiss, she backs away or I sense fear from her. What does she have to fear? This Sesshomaru has not been forward. We have been courting for months now and yet it is as if it had only been two weeks! Her pink lips; so luscious and beautiful. I'm not sure how long I could bear the wait to just kiss her, the taste that I long to know. To have my tongue given entrance to that warm cavity, having the chance to explore it and etch the taste of her within my thoughts. Oh, yes...This Sesshomaru would want more than that later on, but for now...Now...

I will gain my answers. Here I sit, waiting for her to join me. Here again, I will long to kiss her deeply, passionately, only to be pushed away and brought into the dark heap of longing once more. This time-This time I shall not allow it. This Sesshomaru will get answers for her lack of want. But...what if it is because she does not truly-That cannot be. I can sense her arousal; the love that flutters and the happiness within her. She looks upon me with the eyes of a loved one, who I have seemed to have known for more than a lifetime. Then that smile. Such a radiant smile indeed!

No, it is not that she does not feel as I do. Then, what is it! Is she afraid that I may go further than a kiss? That is rightly not so! As much as my lustful wants arise at even the thought of her, as I feel them now, I would not take her, unless ready. Alas, she knows this. I explained it to her, when we first began the courting.

Maybe I'm just reading her wrong. She is quite shy. Maybe she needs a little push into the direction. I'm not sure...Perhaps this Sesshomaru's fangs are what bother her. She should not fear them. This Sesshomaru is quite careful about his fangs. Hurt her I will not. Though, she knows that as well. Many a time I have told her. Does she not trust me?

Oh! How she brings such strong emotions from me!? Even as I rip out this grass beside me in frustration, it does not soothe this feeling! What is this feeling?! Is it worry? Is it fear? What is it?! Such cruelty it brings to one person!

And look; now she comes. I must try to calm down my person. This Sesshomaru does not wish for her to see a loss in control of my own emotions. And yet...I look upon her now and this feeling makes me feel shaky. A gulp to the throat may help me. That addictive smile was upon her face as she sat down. Then those lips...those lips that haunt me so. I...I must ask her. This Sesshomaru will ask her now before I can no longer hold myself from her.

"Why won't you let me kiss you?" I injected quickly. That was not how I was going to tell her! I was going to ask her smoothly and in a way that didn't seem rude. And yet, she looks nervous as she turns her face away.

"Well," she started. "Do you remember when you were in your puppy duppy form? At the tomb?"

Sesshomaru blinked. What does this have to do with it? Maybe she is afraid he would hurt her, as he did try to kill her then. "Yes, this Sesshomaru does."

"Yeah...and you slobbered all over the floor," she replied.

"What does that have to do with this Sesshom-"

"You'llburnmewithyourdroolingacidifyoukissme!" She shouted at me, her eyes shut tight.

What in the world did she just say?! MY ears are ringing consistently now. "W-What was that?"

I watch as she breathes hard a moment, her chest moving up and down. Oh, how I would love to feel that chest against me, our lips about to tou-

"Your drool, it's acid! If you kiss me, what if your drool starts eating away at my flesh, like those skulls there, huh?!"

There was a pause between us. That's what this all was about?! All the torturous turn away and the wait, My DROOL!? Then something strange happened. I laughed! Erupting from the lower part of my chest, I couldn't believe how funny this all seemed. She thought that the drool I had was acidic like that ALL the time? That was a baser attack, like my whip or the acid I spread from my nails. It isn't as if I'm like that all the time.

She looked shocked and then angry but I couldn't help it. Just then, to prove she had nothing to worry, I used my demonic speed to kiss her and lick her lips. She had closed her eyes tightly and flinched. I held my position, happy to have finally had our lips touching. Soon, she was returning the kiss and I knew that I would now be able to know what I have been waiting for; a long, passionate kiss that neither of us would ever forget.
