AN: I never see Inuyasha/Rin stories and I really think that people are missing out on a great pair. So I'm hoping to inspire more writings on the pair. Enjoy!

Mushrooms
Inuyasha’s eyes scanned the valley for animals. Most had disappeared. The dusk was approaching and soon it would be dark. Any other time he would say that they were probably making their way back to their dens. However Naraku had passed by the area just a few hours before, an opportunity his party had missed, to rid themselves of the hanyou, causing most of the animals to flee the area. The scent lead him to the head of the spring which was surrounded by purple mushrooms. Inuyasha clicked his tongue as he looked over the small untouched area. Leaning down his claw swiped a mushroom and he inhaled the scent.
Musty and sweet, just as before. However getting a closer scent places something even more delectable in the air. Almost like that foreign candy that Kagome called chocolate. It caused his mouth to water and he lifted the mushroom to his face, his toungue slithered around the underside of the mushroom before pulling fully into his mouth and began to slowly chew.

Stopping he looked into the sky as the dusk began to glow and he saw in the distance a full moon rising.

“Jaken and I will be traveling for a few days. It is too dangerous for you to follow,” Sesshomaru informed her, “You are to stay here until we return.”
She smiled and nodded, “Yes my lord! I promise to be here when you get back.”
Sesshomaru turned and then began walking away. Jaken quickly grabbed his staff and followed Sesshomaru.
Rin smiled, she couldn’t wait until he returned.
Maybe those mushrooms were poisoned.
Inuyasha gritted his teeth. He’s only reached a small clearing when he had begun to feel strange. Unlike anything he’d ever experiences, his groin had begun to ache with want and need.
