His and Her Circumstances
*******Chapter 4: His and Her Circumstances.******
Her Shikigami returned at Dusk, and she was feeling a lot stronger, but he wouldn’t leave. He refused…not like anyone asked him to or anything. But why he stayed wasn’t because he was worried about her health.
She was able to move now, and was able to think and talk to him about her feelings. But still, it was kind of difficult; with the mistake of thinking she was that reincarnation of herself and all. It turned out that Kikyou was nice; maybe too nice and forgiving.
“What are you doing here, Inuyasha-Sama?” She asked.
He knew she was upset because whenever she was, she would call him by that name. The hanyou sighed. “Kikyou, I’m sorry…”
“And why should you be? It’s not like you care about me. You should’ve left, because you won’t be seeing me again.
“What do you mean by that?” he voice was cracking.
“There is no reason for me to be in the world any longer, I mean I don’t know why I even stayed when Urusae was killed. I thought I was put on this earth for revenge of my demise towards Naraku, but it was just to make me suffer. But since she’s gone, I can just leave.” Even though he was right next to her, she avoided contact with his eyes at all times. “I’m sure you are capable of defeating Naraku and returning the jewel by yourself, so there is no need of a lifeless clay priestess around. Besides, Kagome has all the same powers as me, so no one will worry about no priestess being around to protect them.”
He was speechless. Amazed by what she just said. * What are you talking about, Kikyou? You are needed here. I need you. * He had to say it. So he did. And the thing was, she was amazed by his words.
“Kikyou, I could never let you leave me again. I love you too much. Besides…just because Kagome has the same powers as you, doesn’t mean she IS you. She doesn’t have…” He smirked. “She doesn’t have your beautiful, hazel eyes. Your petite, perfect body shape, so slim..so..” He growled “So..scrumptious”
