A/N: For now this is just a one-shot, I don't plan on adding any other chapters for now. I just felt like writing some smut so decided on this. Hope you enjoy, I'm off to update another one of my stories. It does contain detailed sex, this is your warning.

Kagome Higurashi wasn't sure if she was angry with herself or with the world in general. Or maybe all her anger should be focused on the baka hanyou that once again made her feel worthless. She was doing the best she could, it's not like she had years to train in the ways of being a miko. Her skills were damn good for the few years she'd been traveling to the Feudel Era. Who did Inuyasha think he was? Sure she wasn't Kikyou or maybe not as good as Kaede but she was Kagome, she was from the future. A future where there was little to no youkai.

A sigh escaped her small pink lips, that wasn't what was really bothering her. Truth be told there was a different reason for her unrest. Lately she'd been having dreams, exotic dreams. Most of the time Inuyasha was in them, sometimes it was a different man. Whom, she had no idea because she never saw his face. Her head tried to claim that it was still Inuyasha but her heart told her something else. This man was sweet, gentle and made her feel special. As if no one else mattered but her. Go figure it was only a dream, every morning she'd wake up horny and depressed. She wasn't sure which one was worse.

The night was really pleasant, nice for the long stroll she was taking. It gave her time to think on her options. The most Inuyasha and she had done so far was share a brief kiss. The years that had past, she had just celebrated her eighteenth birthday. All her friends were no longer virgins, having experienced what it meant to be physical with a male already. Yet here she was holding out, wanting her first time to be with the man she loved. Why hadn't they taken their relationship further? It was possible for them to die anyday. Not to mention no one was sure what would occur once the jewel was complete and destroyed along with Naraku. She wanted to be with Inuyasha just once, to have something to remember of her first love. Just one special night to hold onto. 'I'm going to die a virgin!' Unless having a papsmear done by her doctor counted. Usually females didn't have them until they were sexually active. Last year she'd started having pains in her abdomen, female problems. So she'd had some tests done, cancer of the cervix having occured in her family. Of course all she needed was to get her period regulated, her being fine. Doctor said something about too much stress for a normal teenage girl. 'Hello, let him have a youkai trying to rip him a new asshole and see if he doesn't get stressed.'

Her mother had insisted that the pill was an excellent idea for her. Not like she'd be getting any from a certain hanyou. Now whenever she got close to him he freaked out. He was always grumpy, he was a bigger bitch than she was while she was ragging. It didn't make sense to her, not one bit. She knew he had feelings for her but what kind? He cared and swore to always protect her. The question was did his feelings run deeper than that of a bestfriend? Last week she'd tried to get close to him one night. Sango and Miroku had looked so happy and content sitting next to each other by the fire. So she'd tried to scoot over and get close to her hanyou.

It had taken him a few seconds to react to her closeness. Disappointment had filled her heart when he turned to yell at her, demanding what did she think she was trying to do. Even an idiot would have been able to see she was trying to get close to him. He'd jumped up into a nearby tree leaving her to sit all alone. Then the next day while riding on his back she'd made the mistake of trying to play with his ear. Eri had told her that it had an amazing effect on guys. The only effect it had caused was her to be planted on her ass with an angry hanyou glaring at her like she'd went and lost her mind. Maybe she should throw herself at him and see what happened. The ache of rejection kept her from doing so.

She longed to know what it was like to be held in a man's arms while he kissed her passionately. Her hormones had long since kicked in. Now, they were line-dancing. Was it because she wasn't desirable enough for a man? True she was very short even for a female. Her breasts were a good size but tits weren't everything. She also washed daily, even in the past. She didn't really consider herself ugly. Then again Inuyasha said so himself, she wasn't a beauty like Kikyou. Which was odd to her considering everyone said she greatly resembled the dead woman. So if he thought Kikyou was beautiful, what did he find so lacking in her?

A fat drop of rain landed on her cheek to mix with her tears. "Great, it's going to take me an hour to get back home." The sky opened up, obviously it didn't give a shit how long a walk was ahead of her. Her footsteps picked her some, looked like she was about to get drenched before getting back home.

Yusuke propped his head up with the pillow looking at the television set. His mom finally caughed up enough dough to buy a D.V.D. player. So for the weekend he decided to take some of the cash he'd earned at his new job to rent a few flicks. Anything to keep his mind off his new set of problems. He was begining to prefer almost dying to trying to keep his relationship up with Keiko. This weekend she was off visiting family with her parents. It was just as well, it would give her time to cool down from their fight.

Their wedding was coming up in a few months. A few things still got in their way, nothing he could change though. And that's what she didn't seem to understand. With his youkai blood he wouldn't age for a very long time which left them with a big problem. She would grow old soon and eventually die. He was looking forward to spending her life, with her. He couldn't help who or what he was. If he didn't manage to get himself killed he'd live for centuries still. She brought up the question of explaining things to her family and his mother. Twenty or thirty years from now how were they going to explain him still looking like a teenager?

She'd also made a comment about him still being around long after she'd died of old age. The way she'd made the comment it sounded like he was also suppose to pine for her centuries after she was long gone. True, his so called father Raizen had done just that. But if Keiko really loved him wouldn't she want him to eventually find someone else to love. Did she really want him to spend centuries alone if he was lucky enough to find happiness again? Not to mention did she expect him to go centuries without getting laid?

He loved her but he was also a living breathing male that had needs. Sure his hand did wonders after years of practice but that got old after awhile. Plus after she was gone he planned on going back to the Makai with the hopes of one day becoming the new king. The main reason he'd come back home to the Ningenkai was to be with her and his friends. One day his mother, Keiko and even Kuwabara would all be gone. They were only human after all. He'd still have Hiei and Kurama and his other youkai friends. Kurama planned on heading back after his mother passed on, Yusuke could understand that as well. During that time he still wanted to train to get stronger. She didn't agree with him training anymore either.

Not to mention she was wanting to wait till their wedding night before going all the way. Not that he minded the necking and occasional foreplay. It just got hard for him to stop everytime. Once things got going, he could swear he could actually smell her. That scent made his blood race, every fiber in his being told him to take her. It was getting irritating as well to say the least. Some nights he just felt like watching television and cuddle but she'd start teasing him. Even going as far as grabbing his cock, stroking him through his pants. He'd get pissed off when she told him it was time to stop.

In the end he'd feel like an ass for getting angry at her. She'd cry making him feel even lower. It wasn't that he didn't respect her decision to wait till they were married. He just wished if she wanted to wait she'd wouldn't tease him so much. At times it was his fault things got out of hand, those times he never got angry when she said to stop. It was the times when she was really getting to him and he would ask her to stop and she wouldn't. It was hard to call it quits while she was stroking him, then leaving him with a bad case of blueballs.

There was knocking on the door suddenly bringing him out of his reverie. "What the hell? Did she forget how to open the door again. Stupid lush is going to end up at the wrong apartment one of these days." He walked to the door wearing nothing but a pair of blue boxers. His mom really needed to stop going out on her binges. He was ready to yell at his mom as he swung the door open.

Kagome screamed as the car drove past her, the puddle flew through the air. "Asshole!" The water rushed over her adding some mud to her already drenched clothing. She was still fourty minutes from home and was chilled to the bone. No one was picking up the phone at the shrine, so she was on her own it seemed. She didn't have any money for a cab, sucked to be her.

"You tell em girl." A woman came walking out the bar, her bangs hanging in her face. "Wow, it's a little wet out here. Hey, where did my horse go? I know I parked him around here somewheres. Bastage keepz running away from me. WHAT'S THE MADDER, DON I TREAT YOUS GOOD ENOUGH! Ungrateful, just like that boy of ours. Hey, you look like fun. How bout we girls go find anudder drink."

Kagome's face turned green as the woman hiccuped. Someone had tied on one too many, "No thanks, I don't think you need anymore also. Why don't you head on home, I'm sure your horse is there waiting on you." She humored the woman hoping she'd get lost. Last thing she needed was a drunk bothering her.

"I would but I don't know where I live. I can go home with you, we should party." The woman put an arm around the miko's shoulders. "Yous a strong one, take me home."

"Right home, where's home?" Kagome almost fell over seeing that the woman was practically passed out hanging on her. Now she was stuck with the woman. She couldn't just drop her on the ground, the poor woman would drown in her drunk stupor. Kagome somehow doubted anyone in the bar would give a damn either way. Not like she'd go in that place anyways. Her only option was to try and get the woman home. Hopefully she didn't live far.

She reached around and grabbed the woman's purse, feeling bad about going through the woman's belongings. After several seconds her hand found the wallet. "Yurameshi, Atsuko, nice to meet you. My name is Kagome in case you are wondering." A snore was her only answer, then a belch. The stank smell of alcohol wafted up turning the girl's stomach. With any luck the address on the liscense was correct. It was only two blocks down, she could do this.

She practically had to drag the taller woman along, stumbling the whole way. Just her damn luck, the drunk woman had to pick her to wanna hang out with. By the time she reached the building she was shivering, her arms were killing her, and she seriously had to piss. The woman started laughing as they climbed into the elevator, Kagome didn't see what was so funny. She went to the apartment number stated on the I.D. and knocked gently. "Please someone be home and let this be the right place."

The door flew open, "Whatever it is we don't want any." A tall, slim boy wearing nothing but boxers was standing there gawking at her. "Scratch that."

Kagome's voice stopped in her throat, 'Damn, he's hot.' Her eyes lingered on his chest and what a chest it was. She knew she was staring but couldn't help it. Everything on him looked perfect, down to his sculptured body to his face. Finally she met his eyes, they were a soft brown. Something about them drew her, she was unable to look away.

Yusuke stared down at the soaked girl standing in his doorway. Her long black hair hung to her shoulders, several strands framed her face. He'd always considered Keiko to be very pretty, this girl was beyond that. She had a look to her, her angelic features made him want to swear to protect her. He got no further than her eyes, a penetrating blue that held his gaze. He could see a deep sadness and longing staring back at him.

"Ah Yusuke my boy, when did you get here? Come to party with us girls?" Atsuko started laughing hysterically at something only she saw.

Kagome snapped out of her daze upon hearing the woman's voice. "Umm, does this belong to you? She kind of volunteered me to see her home."

"Did she now? You don't strike me as the type to go barhopping." He now took the chance to look her completely over. Short definitely described her, yet she was petite and well formed. He could see her very firm and rather large breast through the white shirt. 'Too bad she's wearing a bra.'

"I wasn't, she bumped into me as I was walking home. I just couldn't leave her in the middle of the road. Not to be rude but she's rather heavy."

"Right, let's get her in the bedroom. Mind if I ask you to get her changed? The thought of seeing my mom in the buff doesn't sit well with my lunch." Yusuke put his arm around his mother's waist taking most of her weight. It didn't take long to get her in the bed. "Thanks, I appreciate it." He left the girl alone with his mother.

Kagome felt like extending her middle finger at the back of his head. When had she signed up for this? She didn't even know this woman or her son for that matter. Instead of complaining she went to work on removing the woman's drenched clothing leaving the underwear on. She wasn't going that far. The cover was pulled over the now passed out Atsuko. Now it was time for her to go home.

Yusuke waited for her to come out of the bedroom and the door to close behind her. "Thanks, you saved me from permanent nightmares. I owe you one." He looked her over taking in her appearance for the first time. She was drenched and cold if the hardened nipples he was now seeing said anything. She'd said she was walking home, in this weather? "You want to use the phone to call a cab or something? Hate to send you back out in the rain since you did bring the lush home."

"Don't mind if I do, where is it?" She went in the direction of the living room. Not wanting to sit on the furniture as wet as she was she stood while the phone rang. "Come on pick up." After five rings she finally gave up once more, her family still wasn't home. Why did they have to pick today to go to the movies? Knowing Souta he would beg them to take him out to pizza afterwards which meant they wouldn't be home for awhile. And if she wasn't home they wouldn't worry, they expected her to be with Inuyasha. What did that mean for her? Guess she'd have to walk back in the rain.

"No answer?" He watched her shake her head then look out the window where the rain was continuing to pour down. "Look you're welcome to hang out here if you'd like. Hate to send you out in that weather. Don't worry, I won't hurt you."

"I'm not scared of you." Kagome turned to look at him, he was still only wearing his freakin boxers. Was he trying to flaunt what he had off? Or was he that slow he failed to realize he was practically standing in front of her naked? The look on his face let her know her answer. He seemed completely unaware of his state of dress. "Thank you but would you please put some clothes on?"

"Oh Right, sorry forgot about that." Yusuke felt the blush creep up his cheeks. He'd forgotten he was just in his boxers, how embarrassing. He went into his room to find a pair of jeans not bothering to put a shirt on. He walked back out and stopped when she was still staring at him. "What?"

"You're a youkai." Kagome let it slip without thinking. Something had been bothering her about him since he'd opened the door. It was what she felt coming from him, the presence of a youkai. At first she'd ignored the feeling, now she couldn't. She had overlooked it because Atsuko was human without a doubt so it never occured to her that the son might be a youkai. His eyes widened at her statement, filled with disbelief. She'd done it now.

"How can you tell? My markings aren't showing, so how the hell can you tell?" He threw his arms behind his head and examined her. He wasn't getting anything from her, no spiritual power at all. She appeared to be an average teenage girl to him, a cute one but normal.

"Long story, I'm afraid and I doubt you'd believe me." She hugged herself, did he have the air conditioner on? Why was it so cold? 'Oh yeah, I'm still drenched.'

"Hell I got time, seems so do you and try me. But first if you want I'll give you something to change into. Unless you prefer freezing to death in them wet clothes."

Kagome sat on the couch wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of hot tea in her hands. His idea of dry clothes consisted of one of his tshirts and boxers. She laughed at herself standing infront of the mirror. It helped with being cold, plus he'd offered a blanket to cover herself up with and threw her clothes in the dryer. He still didn't have a shirt on giving her a nice view of his chest. Somehow she didn't think he was aware of the effect it had on her. The conversation started out light, passing the time while the storm raged outside. She told him about her being a miko, that she possessed holy powers. He almost jumped off the couch when she explained that she could purify any youkai with just a touch.

She left the part of her time traveling out but told him little tidbits of information here and there. Then the subject went to him and he had no problem telling her about himself. While talking he seemed to be waiting for her to say something. As if he was waiting for her to degrade him. She laughed finding he liked to start fights as much as her hanyou. He spoke of his friends with real warmth in his voice. He seemed to care about them greatly along with his fiance. She felt disappointment for some reason at hearing he was taken. What had she suspected? Someone like him would be.

Then he spoke of the Makai world filled with nothing but youkai, that she hadn't known about. He made her promise she wouldn't try to find it and start nuking everyone there. She merely laughed at the image, like she'd be able to. Then she told him about how Inuyasha had to save her all the time. Then it turned back to her, making her reveal just a little bit more. He listened intently to everything she said.

"Sounds like your life is about as exciting as mine." Yusuke smiled at her, feeling a strange bond forming. Most people would scold him when hearing about the things he'd done. Saying he should put his talent to better use instead of fighting. Instead she listened and even laughed along with him. Her voice filled with excitement when he spoke of the tournaments he'd been in. He'd just told her of his hopes of going back to the Makai one day to be the king.

"I wouldn't say that. Sounds like you can take care of yourself. I'm always getting into trouble and having to be saved. I can't count how many times Inuyasha has had to save my ass then turn around and call me worthless. I just wish one time I could take care of myself, maybe do something extrodinary; like you. Hell, I couldn't even manage to finish school." Kagome took a sip of her tea. "People at school are so ignorant. They believe all the lies my grandfather tell them. I'm a walking talking disease, some of my friends are so dense. The teachers aren't any better either. I never liked school much."

"Me either, I skipped all the time. When I didn't have Keiko crawling down my throat making me go. Those two years I spent in the Makai were the best. True I was training for a war but there was so much freedom. No one to tell me what to do, not to mention all the ass I got to kick. I'd like to go back for the next tournament but it isn't going to happen. Not if I want to keep Keiko."

"Why? I think it's a wonderful dream. Atleast you have one, I'm not sure what I want out of life yet. I haven't thought past today to be honest. Besides if she loves you, I'm sure she'll want you to do what will make you happy." Kagome smiled trying to reassure him, he looked so down. "I'm sure she is very proud to have you as her man. You must be strong and you seem nice if a little on the dense side."

"Watch it, I can kill you with just my finger you know." He grinned at her stunned look. "Now, enough about my love life. What about you? Is this Inuyasha guy your Prince Charming or what?"

She told him about her being Kikyou's reincarnation, of Inuyasha's love for the woman. Then everything else that had occured between the three. Even Kikyou being brought back into the world of the living, using part of her soul. It took almost an hour to get it all out, he sat stunned the whole time. "So there you have it. I know I'm sad."

"You're telling me he's having trouble choosing between you and some dead chick. Is he fucking stupid or just blind? You're hot and he won't touch you?" He saw her blush, turning the color of Kurama's hair. "Have you even tried to make a move on him?"

"Don't ask me that." She glared at him and saw him cringe under the penetrating gaze. "Okay, kind of. Whenever I get close to him he yells or moves away. We've only kissed one time, he won't touch me unless he has to."

"Well atleast you don't have my problem. Keiko wants to wait until we are married but has no problem giving me blue balls all the time. You know how hard it is to have someone messing with you knowing what it was going to cause and then just leave you hanging? I mean don't start if you aren't going to finish it." Yusuke sighed deeply thinking about it, why was he telling her all this anyways?

Kagome was thinking the same, why was she being so open with him? Why did she feel like she'd known him all her life. She'd never told her friends about her life as a miko. Why a complete stranger? It didn't make any sense to her but right now she didn't care. She was enjoying her time with Yusuke, shame it would have to end soon. "Atleast you know Keiko desires you, she's just being a tease. I must be lacking something. Maybe he really doesn't find me attractive or desirable. I'm not really pretty."

"You're beautiful." His words caused her head to snap in his direction. His gaze lingered on her sad eyes briefly before moving down to her soft lips. They were parted slightly in invitation, begging to be kissed. Her eyes widened as he closed the distance between them, unsure of why he did so. The touch was brief and soft, a mere brushing of the lips. He looked into her shocked face waiting for the slap that was sure to come. Instead her eyes closed and she leaned forward.

Kagome closed her eyes only to feel his lips brush against hers once more. It caused new and strange sensations to curse through her body. She returned the kiss unable to stop herself from pulling away. It felt right to allow him to apply more pressure. His tongue came out to taste her bottom lip, her mouth parted giving him access. The kiss was completely different from the one she'd shared with Inuyasha. That one had been pleasant and caring, this kiss was exciting and doing strange things to her lower region.

Yusuke felt her mouth part, welcoming him into the warm crevice. He wasted no time sliding his tongue inside, she was hot and tasted like chocolate. His arms pulled her closer leaving the blanket where she'd been sitting. She squeeked finding herself planted on his lap. The kiss didn't break while she got comfortable, her arms going around his neck. Her tongue came out to play with his, driving him wild.

She mentally scolded herself. What was she doing allowing this strange youkai to hold her? Technically, she wasn't cheating on Inuyasha since they weren't a couple now. He'd chosen Kikyou long ago and had yet to say he'd changed his mind. All there had been since then were her dreams of more. He'd never admitted to loving her or wanting to have a life with her. Still this guy had a girlfriend, someone she didn't know. It still didn't make it right in her mind. Her body and her heart told her mind to go to hell. It felt good to be kissed by him, she felt wanted for the first time. His kiss was causing her body to heat up, a strange ache was forming between her legs.

Yusuke was having doubts himself but didn't want to stop. He was being unfaithful to his girlfriend but he didn't want to stop. Something inside him wanted to keep going, he wanted her. He was throbbing painfully in his jeans just from kissing her. She'd yet to touch him in anyway and he was already aching to be inside her. His blood was demanding that he take her, he needed to take her. He deepened the kiss while placing his hand on her thigh. She jerked at the touch but didn't tell him to stop. The skin was extremely smooth and soft to the touch.

Kagome almost jumped off his lap feeling his hand on her thigh. It caused the ache to intensify between her legs for some reason. She moaned when his thumb began to move, running along her flesh. The hand worked it's way up her leg, caressing as it went. Her mind screamed that he was getting close to her center. Someplace he shouldn't be allowed to touch. Touch he did. Her eyes flew open at the first contact, it left her shaking in his arms. His fingers were running along her through the cotton material of the borrowed boxers. Yusuke could feel the warmth and wetness even with the cloth seperating her from his prying hand. His nose was begining to pick up her scent. A low growl sounded deep in his chest as he inhaled the sweet smell. His mouth left hers to attach to her ear, nibbling on the soft lobe. Her thighs parted for him on their own, her body knowing what it wanted. He pushed the material aside wanting to touch her heat. She moaned loud causing his blood to pump faster, his ache to intensify.

Kagome was unprepared for the pleasure she felt at the touch. His finger found her exposed folds, sliding into the wetness. She parted for him allowing him to find that small bundle of nerves. Before she could protest he picked her up and carried her into his room. His foot slammed the door behind them, he locked it to ensure his mother wouldn't come barging in. If only just this one time, he wanted the small girl laying in his bed.

Yusuke didn't want to stop, he didn't think he could. His whole body felt like it was ablaze, all for the small girl under him. He watched her face for any sign that he was hurting her. She was so tight, small and perfect. He brought his mouth back down wanting to kiss her. Even if he didn't really know her, they had just met yet he wanted it to be special for both of them. He entwined his fingers with hers, placing their hands together. A single tear rolled out the corner of her eye, he placed his mouth over the moisture. She smiled up at him, he began his movements once more.

Kagome felt like she was being pried open, he was filling her body. Once he was fully inside he gave her several minutes to get use to the feeling. She nodded giving him the okay when she thought she was ready. He pulled out, relieving some of the pressure. She moaned when he pushed back in. The friction caused the strange tension to form once again. No words were spoken as he moved within her.

They moved together, taking it slow at first. It wasn't until he started picking up his speed and pushing higher into her body that she lost it. The tension broke again, her walls tightened around him pulling him deeper. He screamed then went still over her. Kagome felt him pulsing inside her as his seed emptied into her womb.

Not sure what was to expect she didn't say anything but looked up into his soft features. He rolled over onto his side and brought her with him. A couple of light kisses were placed on her forehead. Her eyes closed as he held onto her for dear life. She didn't object, it felt right to be in his arms.

Yusuke held the girl, letting her fall asleep. He wasn't sure if he should say anything to her. So he let her fall asleep, while he held her. She was so small but fit perfectly in his embrace. He smiled remembering the evening and everything that had been said. Not once did she scold him, belittle him or tell him he was foolish. She had been interested in what he had to say, wanting to know the real Yusuke. For once he felt understood by the opposite sex. He let his eyes close, falling asleep holding the girl that had suddenly entered his life.
*Two weeks later*

Yusuke stared at the letter in his hand once more. He smiled thinking back on that night and morning. He'd woken up to feel the space next to him empty. She was gone along with her clothes that had been in the dryer. He didn't know how she'd gotten the energy to get up that early. They'd woken up several times that night to continue their evening. He couldn't count how many times she'd made him feel whole. Hours had been spent exploring each other, bringing each other to completion. It had been the best night of his life and it wasn't because of the sex. Having her beside him had caused a change deep within him.

He'd been upset to see her gone. All through their conversations, all she'd ever told him was her given name. Kagome. He had no idea how to find her or if he'd ever see her again. He knew what he had to do, what he wanted to do but it would have to wait for now. His eyes reread the letter once more pulling strength from the words.

Yusuke,

I'm sorry I have to leave without saying goodbye. I have a journey I must finish, a mistake I must correct. I don't know where my journey will lead me or if I'll even survive. Nor what will become of me once it is complete. I need you to know that I don't regret last night. For once in my life I felt complete, for that I thank you. I'm not sure if I'll ever get to see you again, if not do one thing for me. Be true to yourself and your dreams. You are special just as you are, don't ever doubt that. For now I give you my best wishes and know that on rainy nights I will think of you. Kagome

Yusuke folded the letter neatly in his back pocket and stared up at the sky. He watched Kurama walk up to him, "How's it going Kurama?"

"Alright, you look different." The fox looked at his friend. There was a look of enlightenment in the boy's eyes. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

"I'm heading into the Makai next weekend to speak to Hiei and was wondering if you wanted to go with me. It's been awhile since we've seen ole three eyes."

"Of course, my mother is going out of town. It will be a good chance to see everyone and catch up. Why do I get the feeling you have another motive for going?" Kurama waited for him to answer.

"I'm going to find out about when the next tournament is suppose to take place. I plan on entering again." Yusuke saw the shocked look on the redhead's face and laughed. "Don't ask man." Yusuke saw him nod accepting that he wasn't getting an answer anytime soon. The ex-detective wasn't ready to share his secret with anyone. He wanted to keep the secret and memory of her for just a bit longer.
